    Nice deal Clear. If anyone is wondering what the max current is for the Type-C cables, it appears to be 3A, which should be fine for most devices. There are a few Type-C cables out there which only support up to 2A/2.4A that won't make full use of the fast charging capability of devices such as the Nexus 6P, which requires 5V/3A.

    This Xiaomi 5 in 1 kit is not the latest one as the Xiaomi Mijia 5 in 1. Look at the Xiaomi logo at the top right corner of the red box you will find it out.
    As this is older version so does not have the Multifunction Gateway version 2.
    Correct me if this is not the case.

      I have confirmed that it's the original with the Mi logo and not the Mijia logo.

          I stand corrected. GeekBuying have advised that everyone who ordered will receive the version with the Mijia logo.

          Mijia has the newer Gateway.

    Hmmm so in the package there isn't any camera.

    Package:

    But in one of the pictures, it stated 'if someone break in, the bell will alert and the camera will take videos'.

    I'm sure I'm the one that doesn't fully understand the system but where is the camera which going to take videos when break in happens? Is it integrated in the gateway?

      It's an example of how you could set up the sensors. Have a motion sensor or the window/door sensor trigger a camera to turn on and record.

      I made an order a while ago for several items including a smart home kit. It arrived without the smart home kit. Seems a little fishy that people are now having problems with the same item.

      I emailed after sale support and explained what was missing, they have asked me to send them photos of what I received.. Not sure what that will achieve, or what additional information they would derive about the missing item from photos of the two items I received.. Sounds like delaying tactics to me. Its doubly frustrating because I bought it as a xmas present and paid extra to make sure it arrived on time.

        Funny thing is just a day or two after this deal was posted another store (lightinthebox ?)had the same deal as this one.
        I ordered something else from them and it shipped the next day !

    Orders will be sent out from today. I believe the reasoning is that they decided to send customers the new version instead of the old version they had. If I knew there would be a delay I would have never posted.

    Mine just arrived today. The gateway is refusing to connect to my network.
    Moved it next to the router and reset the router and it just continues to flash yellow 3 times.
