      1. eBay says it's a limit of 5 per customer - so $500 max value

Damn you can get some pretty awesome prices with these:

Nintendo Switch $339.15 (w/ Harvey Norman Price Match - In Store). I would post this as a deal but it comes down to a lot of factors to work, will just wait till JB puts it down to $399 sometime.
PS4 Pro $398.65 (W/ The Good Guys Price Match - In Store)
    Google Home: $108.80
    Google Home Mini: $46.75
    Fitbit Ionic: $289.85

    • I was about to say that JB already has the switch at $399. But alas they have been sneaky and put the price back up. I was hoping with Amazon here and priced at $399 that this was its new price point. I will still personally probably grab 2 gift cards and combine with the $200 from Telstra and wait and see what Boxing Day brings and hopefully snag one then.

      • +1

I'm exactly the same, looks like they wanted to be sneaky and add the game in to try and get more money out of it.. I can see boxing day being quite good this year especially with amazon's opening.

    • Good spotting on the Nintendo Switch - here's hoping it comes back down to $399 soon.

    • Just enquired with JB, they aren't price matching with Harvey Norman's $399 console price. Says HN is all out of stock lol

      • Wth!! It's available online though, and Amazon have it for the same price delivered, what a load of bs.

    • Lower than that, walk in and request they price match things like the home and the chromecast to officeworks, then pay with gift cards.

home: $45.05 [bought a few today]
      chromecast v2: $39.10 [bought a few today]
      chromecast ultra: $62.90

I bought itune gift cards from the said seller on the weekend and redeemed in less than 5 mins without any issues.

    • Well there ya go people's.

  • +5

JB has an online checker for gift cards, for anyone that has purchased can check balance and validity here
    https://giftcards.jbhifi.com.au/

  • +6

This is Legit, its redeemed through official paypal e-mail once you receive the cards. I just bought JBHIFI gift cards from JBHIFI online store in exchange, just for safety.

    • +2

Wow awesome, can you put multiple gift cards towards a higher denomination of GC on the JB site?

      • +1

yes I bought a $400 card with the 4x 100 cards from this deal.

  • +1

just received my JB gift card. Took about 15 minutes to arrive via email.

    • +2

  • Can I use this to buy Battlenet gift card in store?

  • just purchased a $100 jb voucher, fingers crossed. this could be a very good bargain for boxing day sales

  • May I ask if I can stack 5 gift cards to buy IphoneX from JB?

    • +3

yes you can …. ask …

and yes you can use it for an iphone x

      • Thank you very much :D

        • +2

How many gift cards did you buy? I am looking to buy iPhone 8 all using gift cards but not sure if it will work…

    • Wrong post sorry

    • Yes

  • I bought a DJs gift card through these guys recently, no issues. Arrived within 30 mins and redeemed in store same day.

  • +4

how do you get 15% off? im seeing it as full price?

  • Cheers OP! Bought some.

  • +1

Hmmmmmm buy a crapload of these (10-15 or so), stash them and wait for a good TV deal to redeem on - extra 15% off what will already be very good price. Hard to beat I'd say.

    • Seems to be limited in the number you can buy

      • Multiple purchases perhaps? If not can always use another ebay account.

        • Tried new account but can't get it through

  • Kogan = iPhone purchase Ok?

    • +2

Yes, but think about getting it from JB instead if it's an expensive model, Kogan only has a 1 year warranty.. Otherwise, you're all good.

      • Isn’t kogan cheaper than many other retail outlets ? Can JB price match kogan at the time? Sorry for asking too many questions as I have not used JB in a long time after my bad experience with them

        • Kogan Grey Stock Vs JB local stock and warranty.

JB will not price match Kogan as they are not local stock

        • @tendliya: Does JB price match any other Brick and mortar retailers?

        • @kiwiinoz: Yes, I have done it many times in the past

  • +1

Jbhifi allow you to use as many gift cards in one go INSTORE….. It's just like cash!
OP place the amounts can be purchased on a card in details please.

    • +3

Some people in the past have mentioned they may ask you to photocopy your ID however.

Not an issue for me, but for others…

      • Definitely take a Photo ID with you if using more than 5 cards in store

        • Yep called store and they want photo ID\address take down details but no worries with as many cards as like INSTORE.

        • @PLANT: Hope it's the same for my store. JB Hi-Fi's t&c for these gift cards state that a "maximum of 5 can be redeemed per order in store and online" :S

        • @Scozza: ^Where does it say that? I rang more than two stores and the said they have no problem with paying for goods with gift cards and did not state there was a Max use of cards…..I know others have converted them to 1 x $500 card and then buy goods with 5 x $500 cards?

        • @PLANT: I saw it in the email with the JB Hi-Fi gift card. But yeah, I've just merged all 5 of mine into one just to be safe, and so I also won't have to annoy them with so many gift cards haha

  • Has anyone tried buying more than one gift card from the same store?

    • Yeah a couple.

  • +1

How to get 15% off? I am seeing the full price.

    • +1

Its only for the gift cards mentioned in the description

      JB Hi Fi
      Kogan
      Supercheap Auto
      Rebel
      Xbox live currency
      BCF

    • +3

      No cashback for gift card

  • please help If I can buy 10*100 JB gift card and use them to buy iphone8?

    • In Store, yes. Please take a photo ID with you if using more than 5 gift cards

      • Thanks, I will buy 10100 for iphone X (maybe find a friend to buy another 5100?)

        • +1

All you need is a different Ebay ID but can use the same paypal account for multiple transactions

        • @tendliya: Thanks. I have 2 Ebay account one for my self and one for my partner. I would find another friend account. Just wondering if I use 3 accounts to buy 15*1000 gift card am I still eligible for TRS when going overseas next month (assuming JB has iphone X in stock before I go).

        • @zhangqin2211: You can definitely claim TRS even when you pay with gift cards. Make sure to get an invoice on your name as the phone will be more than $1000.

I have also seen Melbourne City JB store showing a sign that they now have Iphone X in stock

        • @tendliya: wow I hope Sydney stores have Iphone X in stock. Thanks anyway

    • Did you buy one? I am also looking to buy an Iphone 8 Gold 64 GB….Right now it is $1079 and if I buy 10 gift cards for $850 + (1 x $50 + 1 x $30) for $68..the iphone comes down to $918….that seems like a good deal but does anyone know if JB Hifi price beats any other brick and mortar stores?

      • I went to JB hifi chastwood store for iphone X. No stocks.

I am pretty sure you can do that for Iphone 8.

      • I usually never have a problem price matching brick and mortar stores at JB. Be patient and don't be aggressive with the sales person.

  • Can you link that frequently flyer thing with eBay as well or is it FF or cashrewards?

  • Can these be used in conjunction with coupon codes? Still got a 20% off blu-ray one.

    • +1

      Yes it can.

  • Also, 4 $30 cards comes to $102, combining with paypal amex deal comes to $130 of cards for $82 perfect timing!

  • Can you use JB gift cards to buy nintendo eshop cards?

    • Good point, I would like to know too.

  • I remember 3 or 4 years ago JBHiFi had promotion buy $100 gift card get $30 bonus gift card, ~$23% off.
This is still a good deal though.

    • +8

I remember one time I found a $20 note, but it wasn't as good as the time I found a $50 note - so was disappointed.

      • -4

You were disappointed because you ARE greedy. :)

        • +2

I'm glad you understood what I was trying to say.

        • -3

Hope you understand what I said !!

  • +1

Can confirm, it is legit. Although my JB card expiry date is 18/12/2116.

    • +1

Just wanted to post this, you beat me to it :)

    • 2116 ????

    • +3

99 years, nice. You can pass it to your grandchildren.

      • 2116, the year of JB-SoundCloud?

    • Just saw in the T&C's..
All Gift Cards sold at JB Hi-Fi or at third party locations do not expire. Gift Cards can be redeemed at any time even if a Gift Card specifies an expiry date. This excludes Ultimate Kids Gift Cards and Ultimate Teens Gift Cards, which will be subject to the expiry date stated on those cards.

Not sure why they even bother giving an expiry date lol

      • +2

Expiry dates on gift cards are a sin.

  • Does JB Hi Fi price match? Big W have Skyrim for $69 but JB for $79. If I could price match with Big W I could have it for $58.65

    • +2

      Yes they do!

  • +2

Just got the email with the codes. Checked the expiration and it shows 18/12/2116!!!!!

  • +1

Just bought $1000 worth of JB gift cards.

    • +1

How?? I can't seem to get the purchase through! New accounts/PayPal accounts?

    • +2

      Please tell us how

      • +1

You can only have one of each denomination in your cart at any one time. So essentially buy them one by one.

However, you can only buy five per eBay account. The easiest solution is to create another eBay account.

    • What are you planning to buy?

  • Limit of 5 per account every 10 days?

  • So… is this legit? i have read like 4 people saying so but almost everyone said it was a trap.

    • I just bought a $30 one and used it right away. Works like a charm

  • also there is a limit of 5 cards per person every ten days

    • +1

Id say it's a limit of 5 per PayPal account… pretty easy to create new accounts to circumvent this.

      • +1

Nope, just bought 15 cards, using 3 ebay accounts, but all on same Paypal account.

  • +3

I got 2 x $30 JB cards, got them within 30 minutes. Then spent them on the $59 12 month Playstation Plus renewal by buying 2 x $30 Playstation store top ups from JB.

  • +1

Purchased $500 worth 10 mins ago.

Once I get them will use to buy a $500 JB voucher.

If this works, I'll repeat the process until I get $3K worth of vouchers ready to tear boxing day sales apart.

    • Limit of 5 cards per person every ten days

      • +1

Cant seem to stack gift cards online to purchase anything either…

        EDIT: sorted.. user error.
