    Excellent value

  • How difficult will it be to upgrade parts in one of these cases? Specifically motherboard and GPU in the future?

    • CPU is almost top of the range, so upgrade of CPU in unlikely.

GPU would probably have to be limited to under 160w, due to PSU.

Dell and HP often have propitiatory PSU pins, but there are converters. They often use BTX boards for better cooling, rather than ATX

But then, it will be quick.

Upgrades to concider would be adding 8G ram but not urgent, and adding a mSata (M2) drive if supported

  • Would this be suitable to handle 4k editing?

It was $1299 before the sales, shame on Dell for jack up the price :(

  • Very tempted to buy this computer.

What sort of monitor would best suit the power of this computer? Would "AOC G2460VQ6 24" 1ms FreeSync Gaming Monitor" $169 be good, or are there better options? I think 24" is about the size I want.

It would depend on your use, but I would recommend a 27" monitor if you can afford to spend a little extra.

Otherwise, yes the AOC 24" monitor will definitely compliment this PC if it's intended use is for gaming purposes.

      • Cheers man.

Ended up getting 27" ASUS VP278H LED Gaming Eyecare Monitor and Creative Inspire T10 2.0 Speaker System.

It should be a decent setup to play games on. I nearly went with the dell i7 with 1060 gfx on the other deal, but I did not want to spend over $1500 for everything. Got all this stuff for $1472.20 delivered.

I think you've done pretty well to get all of that for under ~$1,500, decent set up for the money, enjoy!
