Xiaomi Wiha 24-in-1 Precision Screwdriver Kit USD$15.99 (~AUD$20.49) Shipped @ GearBest

AlibuyWiha29

Good morning fellow Ozbargainers,

Melbourne's 'Skyrail' public transport upgrade planned to remove level crossings has affected the South East region, no train runs from Westall and buses replace trains all the way to Flinders St. Here I am waiting for the bus on a wet morning yet last night's forecast did not show any chance of precipitation, so why not spend the time and post a deal to lighten up everyone's commute? If you're snuggled in bed and reading this, lucky you!

Following a massive interest (read: zero) from this Australian seller trying to mislabel the Xiaomi product collab with Wiha as a "Wiha" product, I present to you the Xiaomi Wiha Precision Screwdriver Set at an impressive 50% discount (technically 49.46% with AUD equivalent, just in case member MathNerd decides to query my Mafs skills).

On a more serious note it is US$5.89 cheaper than Gearbest's post(US$21.88) just before Christmas, and a whopping 1 US dollar lower than urbancartel's post(US$16.99) last month.

This is a pretty good price to date. I haven't got one so can't give you my personal review. Last time I went for a Nanch set which is also S2 HRC steel, and so far so good. This set is definitely more aesthetically pleasing though. Pricewise it's pretty awesome for the value.

As always, ask for permission from the missus first. Learn from this gentleman!

Specs

● Imported S2 steel material bits, hardness up to 60HRC for long time use
● Anti-rust aluminum alloy screwdriver handle and storage box
● Bits: Phillips ( PH000 / PH00 / PH0 / PH1 / PH2 ), Hex ( H1.5 / H2.0 ), Torx ( T2 / T3 / T4 / TR5 / TR6 / TR8 / TR10 / TR15 ), Slotted ( 1.5 / 2.0 / 3.0 / 4.0 ), Spanner U2.6, Tri-wing 3, Pozi ( P2 / P5 ), Triangle 2.3
● Comes with an aluminum storage box for easy carry and store
● Suitable for quartz watch, regular household appliances such as cameras, radios, computers, mobile phones, drones, etc., meeting the most daily repair needs

This is an excellent price, awesome work :)

I learnt from the top contributors on here.

  • Does anyone know if the Torx heads are normal Torx? Or Torx Security with the holes?

From this photo it looks like they might be the Security ones? https://des.gbtcdn.com/uploads/pdm-desc-pic/Electronic/image…

    • +1

Bit of both, torx listed as T2 etc are normal torx, when listed as TR6 etc they are security torx. This set has a bit of both, wouldn't surprise me if the smaller ones don't exist in a secure style just because it'd be so fiddly to machine the bits.

I just tried to buy it, but it's telling me the code I entered has expired…

  • i just purchased… worked for me thnx

    Expired, dang

Great post. The Nanch set does look good due to that thicker driver. You can get more torque onto the screw to loosen off ones done up tightly.

  • 500 gone in under 30 mins? You fellow ozbargainers need to get a life!

    • +1

did they really have 500 ?

      • Very much doubt it was 500, given that the deal only had 300 and something clicks before it expired.

      • This, the old bait and switch.

  • Are there any recommendations for good and cheap ones with a flat screw for watch bands and also other things like that. it has to be flat and I don't think these ones come with it.

    Aspired. ):

  • Hi everyone, the code Xmas373 (from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/351208 ) brought the price to just below, AU $ 30 if anyone is interested.

Just so I can get an idea, would everyone be interested in more stock on:

    • Xiaomi Mijia Automatic Umbrella (already ran 2 times)
    • Xiaomi WiHa Screwdriver Kit

I'm already working on the screwdriver set, but would you like more Rhianna?

With the Air Purifier, with about 4 posts in the span of 3 weeks previously (I posted 2) I think (almost) everyone has gotten a unit for themselves. I'd recommend to give it some time so you can get used to the performance of the Air Purifier 2 before deciding to get another (i.e. a new deal). Besides, a new model 'Max' is just released so I'd personally be interested to see how it compares to the 2 and the Pro, as well as their price points and if any would drop.

Note that I am not associated with any sites, just a regular OzBer interested in gadgets and finding out the best deals (n share with everyone). It's like a consumers' 'economies of scale' effect.

      Xiaomi WiHa Screwdriver Kit!!!

    • +1

      Yes, please for both.

    • Yes please for the screwdriver kit

    • Australia says 'yes' to WiHa Screwdriver Kit!

  • +1

    Yes for Xiaomi Wiha screwdriver

  • +1

Yes for Xiaomi Wiha screwdriver as well

  • Does anyone know if there is anyway of setting alert when the deal is active for a product you are looking after. I have missed out on Wiha kit deal, want to make sure I get it this time around.

    • +1

In search box, type "wiha option:titleonly" and save as Alert.

It isn't instantaneous, but a bit delay is better than having to scroll through all new deals.

    Thank you Sky Blu

  • @Boxer …your right….
    Seems 01011 = 11 hmmm what comes after 10 base 10 i wonder…:-)

  • lol @ level crossing removals in VIC - the worst ones are ignored: Toorak Rd, Richmond, and Glenferrie Road.
