    Just a note that these don't work with the Creative Zen Vision M. You have to constantly press down on the Mic button to hear your music - otherwise it won't work. Might apply to other Creative players as well.

      These are just standard earphones with no mic. Did you have problems with the 220vi (with mic) or the 220 (no mic) model?

      I have the Vision:M and the same thing has happened to me with an older pair of Logitech headphones. My mum's Zen Micro works fine with them though.

      I suggest you buy some Comply T400 tips off eBay, I've used them on other earphones and they're great. If you want, I can tell you in a couple days how well they fit the tube of the 220s, because on my Sennheisers they are VERY tight, but they should be great on the 220s.

          Bought a pair of UE220, will see how they compare to my Sennheiser cx 300s, Sennheiser HD228s, and Asus laptop Bang and Olufsen ICEpower speakers ;)

          Review of UE220.
          They're like the TDK ones from officeworks in terms of sound, nothing special (muffled and bassy).
          Very elegant packaging though, and a very hard protective case for the earphones, but the sound of the earphones… they lack clarity, looks like Logitech just muffled them up and put some bass in them at the same time, but they lack clarity, so you can't really hear the treble (tbh apple earphones have more clarity than the UE220 but apple earphones have no bass whatsoever)
          For $29 I feel gipped, but hey, that's probably because I have $130 headphones (Sennheiser HD228) that I got from an e-tailer for $65… and a $1200 laptop that also has uber speakers (Bang & Olufsen)
          CX300s are slightly better than the UE220 and would be a better buy if you can get it for a cheap price overseas (mymemory.co.uk are pretty good when they have stock). Yes CX300 have an overpowering bass to those who aren't use to it (after an hour or so you'll ignore it), but you can hear the treble clearly.. an area which UE220 disappoints me. Also the UE220 makes all your music sound like its coming out of a radio -> that's what I mean by its muffled.. =\
          Sennheiser > Logitech
          Neg me all you want, but for $29 the UE220 just doesn't cut it for a bargain hunter who wants the best things at the lowest price possible.
          I won't be refunding this item since I've opened it up to test it (like an amateur audiophile) but it'll be my last resort backup.

      If you're referring to the stock earbuds that come with iPods, then hell yes, I had the old 150s (lower model) and they were still a nice improvement. If you're referring to Apple's in-ears, I haven't heard them so can't help you there :)

      IMO
      those original apple earphones(the ones that came with ipods) are not really good
      they have a very bad build quality(most of then break at the rubber ends), same goes with the cable(the cable on my apple ipod one is ripping out); and it is also costly to replace for genuine ones
      also, IMHO, i would says these are opinionative, as some people like have in-ear earphones, whilst others do not.
      as per sound quality, i would say that the logitech one is far superior to the genuine apple ones that came with the box;
      but as per the in-ear apple ones, i am not sure

          Those IE8s are about the same RRP for US and Australia. The RRP for the UE TripleFis are US$400 for the US yet for Australia the RRP is AU$500. I guess they have been around for a fair while and maybe the RRPs haven't been revised.

          In any case, I got them coming for just under AU$200 delivered from Amazon (with redirection shipping of course). :D

        Hey OP there's a problem with the ordering system. If you enter a business address properly for shipping and billing. When you checkout using Paypal. It automatically enters the wrong address with the suburb right under your name with no company name. eg. John Doe, Chatswood, 10 Victoria Ave, Sydney 2067. When the address is suppose to be John Doe, Company name, 10 Victoria Ave, Sydney NSW 2067

        It doesn't include the company name or allow you to pick one that you have used on paypal.

        Someone did bad programming there inserting the wrong field on the checkout form…

        Please fix I want to order something but it needs to go to a business address! Because this will create delivery problems, I haven't ordered anything and cancelled twice to confirm its the wrong address…

          Haha well firsly I'm not a rep :P And I think your problem is that they only send to a verified Paypal address, so try logging onto your PayPal and adding the address you wish to your paypal, then select that address at checkout.

          If you want cheap, the 220s are really good value, but if you can go a bit higher, the UE600s will be a really good step up.

      I will be selling mine once I receive my TripleFis. I've only used them a couple of times. I know it's weird buying 2nd hand in-ear phones but if you are keen for a bargain, I'll sell them for around $70-$80.

    The UE600 is basically a rebranded SuperFi5. The spec of 600 is slightly different from SF5. It has a wider frequency response range and is slightly lighter in weight. The UE600 have a frequency response of 20hz -20khz vs sf5 with 15hz -15khz.

    In terms of comfort, the UE600 is more comfortable to wear due to its shape. I have both 220 and 600 and I certainly prefer the 600 more. The only thing I dislike with all UE earphones is the straight 3.5mm connector. I would prefer the plug to be 90 degree or even 45 degree as seen on other brands.

      I think they sold them all out during the Aust Day sale. You can get them from amazon or ebay for about $200-$220 AUD. You'd probably have to send it to US for warranty though.
