    Cheers dude but bit late….

    • +2

Woolies haven't allowed catalogues posted before 5pm for ages.

      • +2

Yep woolworths had a whinge and threatened ozbargain for posting woolworths deals early.

  • Can you use multiple ebay giftcards for one purchase?

Edit: And I'm assuming that they closed the egift cards loophole?

    • would like to know this too

    • +2

I have always been able to stack multiple gift card voucher codes when checking out. What was the egift cards loophole BTW?

    • +5

I have been able to use a max of 15 eBay gift cards at checkout along with a 20% off eBay code.

      • Do they still do 20% codes?

        • … along with a 20% off eBay code.

I believe mkheav means PARENT coupon code.

    • Can anyone else verifying how many eBay gift cards you can use in 1 transaction on eBay website?

      • +1

I've read and personally see only 8 gift cards work. To make the most of the saving you would get $100 x 8 otherwise it would only take $400 if you bought $50 giftcards.

  • Does eBay Gift Card stack with eBay discount codes e.g. penny5?

    • +2

      Yes they do!

  • +1

Coles used to give 2000 pt for Ultimate for him/kids Gift Card

  • Are points given once per account/household like Coles or per gift card?

Limit 10 per customer sounds like per gift card otherwise why would they bother limiting? 🤔

    • +1

      Per gift card

  • +1

So the maximum Woolworths Rewards points you can earn is 10,000 buy purchasing 10 cards? If you purchase more you won't receive extra points?

    • +1

      correct

    • But you can buy 10; then complete the purchase. Then start a new purchase and buy 10 more?

      • Nope, per reward card

        • Can anyone confirm that you won't get points when you buy the 11th one on separate transaction. Remember It works before.thanks

        • @fly121121:

You should still get the 2000 bonus on the 11th free one.

  • 10000 points for free.
Problem is I have to run through the transaction 10 times by going in and out if wollies

    • Why not just purchase them in 1 go?

      • Can you do that ?
Buy 10 eBay cards and scan rewards card to get the 10000 points in one go ?

        • Hopefully someone will confirm that.

I'm definitely purchasing 10 Ebay $50 Cards which will net me- 1500 Amex Points, and 4350 Qantas Points as I transfer my WWEDR to QF.

        • @Spizz:
What about you try it out and let me know how you went. 😘

        • +1

Last time I did this I was able to buy multiple cards in one transaction and get all the points. I’m not sure but I think you could also see the number of bonus points before paying, but if not you could definitely at least se it at the check out at some point, so if you aren’t sure ask the operator before buying and if they say yes but it doesn’t come up then they’ll have to sort it out for you.

        • +1

Yes, I just bought 2 $50 eBay cards and got 2k points in one transaction using egiftcard as well. This could be really good if I had a lot of eBay stuff, which I don't…

        • +3

          @frugalftw:

Can buy 10 in one go and get all 10000 points .

          Tried and worked.

I don't see The Ebay gift cards among the others
    https://www.woolworthsgiftcardstore.com.au/deal/default?p=1
I wanted to buy 3 x $50 to go with this
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/399332

If someone has a link to the Ebay ones please help me out!

    • That other offer for 3000 points excludes Gift Card purchases.

      • Of course, my appologies.
I will go instore for the ebay card …but not sure why they don't have them online with the others.

  • ^Offer available on all denominations of pictured cards. <— does this mean you can buy $100 Ebay card and get 2000 points?

    • I think so

      • then you can earn upto 20000 points? 10 x $100 ebay card???

        • I would think not. Probably still 1000 points on a $100 card or the ad would of stated so. Guess you’ll have to wait til Wednesday for the reports to roll in.

    • +2

Just bought 4x $50 (received 4000pts) as the $100 gc's we're sold out, however the sign in store specifically showed 2000 points for $100 Ebay gc. Just double check the 'points earned' display at self serve before you pay.
Edit: successfully paid with cashrewards woolies gc's for an extra 5% off.

      • Can confirm. 2000 pts for $100 ebay card in my local store. Paid with eGift Card but also purchased other items along with the eBay gift card

        • at self service?

      • Do the Coles self serve display also show points earned?

        • +1

no, points take 24hrs - 1 week to update

  • I have not seen one Coles with these ebay cards

    • +5

lucky this promotion is for woolies then.

  • Can't find the last ebay gift card promotion for woolies circa Jan 2018, but does anyone know what the promotion was back then for woolies? Was it 2000 points for $100 ebay gift cards? In which case i remember everyone went crazy trying to do 10 x $100 ebay gift cards for 20k of points?

    Anyone able to confirm?

Not sure what else I can use ebay gift cards for for everyday purchases as I'm out of ideas for 'extra' purchases that ebay would cover. catch also requires purchasing what you might not need and wouldn't otherwise purchase haha.

  • Can an eBay Gift Card be used multiple times ie. $20, $20, $10 on separate occasions or all at once?

    • +3

Yes, you can use them on separate transactions, till the remaining value used up. 😊

      • Great, thank you for replying.

        • +1

It can be used on separate occasions, but the balance will appear as a coupon credit in your cart which you need to tick to apply to your cart. It cannot be used with another eBay account as the gift card number will show a $0 balance. You can still use one coupon code with your cart gift card credits.

    eBay au terms states:
No more than a total of $2000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $5000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers).
    reference

    • +1

Yep ive experienced a max of 8 gift cards x $100 for a max of $800. The only exception was when i bought something of gift cards and got a refund. They added the refund as gift cards against my account and i was able to use more than 8. Big headache if you want to get past 8 and i don't think its worth the hassle.

      • When was the last time you could only use 8 as some people have reported you can use a lot more?

        • +2

I just successfully used 10 x $50 cards in one transaction, no problems.

        • +1

@ozoner: I have done 1500 worth of 50's which was the limit. I tried to add another 50 to no avail.

        • @dennis3107: because of the $2000 daily limit. You can use $1500 again the next day up to $5000 per month.

        • @samehada:

I was saying it might even be less than 2k since I had only used 1.5k and I couldn't add any more.

          I need to test again.

Just purchased 10 $100 EBay GCs and can confirm 20,000 points received on my receipt.

Also went to Coles and got my $50 Uber Gift Card and received 2000 points.

    • Damn…
      Thought it's only $50 denominations.
      Bought 10 of them already.
      Wasted my 10000 points …😥😥😥

      • Not sure if it helps you feel any better, but I did the same thing :)

    • Did you try coles a second card to see if you'd get a second 2000 lot of points?

I wonder if all woolies are doing the $100/2000 points gig.

      Expiry a yr from issue???

  • +5

Just bought 10 x $100. tried egift card payment but been declined.

  • +2

Tried to checkout with my WISH gift card and got rejected…

  • +10

Ebay limit is based on the amount not number of gift cards used. They have 3 limits of ebay gift cards used
    - $1500 per transaction, doesn't matter how many gift cards in total
    - $2000 per day
    - $5000 per month

  • Who knows a Woolies in Sydney that keeps their eBay cards stocked up. Can’t find them anywhere. Preferably $100 but $50 might be useful.

    Thanks

    • I went to two in CBD, and they didnt have any on display, but didnt see any empty area where they should be.
Do they even stock ebay cards?

  • +1

Just bought a $100 eBay gift card from Woolworths and the receipt printed out showed the bonus 2000 points

  • Do ebay gift cards have to be spent in one transaction?

    • No, you can use it until the initial balance runs out

    • Just be aware that the remaining balance may become tied to the account on which you make the initial purchase.

      • They do get tied i found. Its a very annoying feature. it does however mean you can pay with remaoning balance withour holding the card on you at sll times though.

  • How long are eBay giftcards valid for? When do they expire?

    • +1

3 years from date of issue.

      • I thought these store bought gift cards were all one yr??? Im still madly ttying to use up the early 2018 cardds i got ha ha

        • +2

          General Terms

          1. Your Gift Card will be valid for use for three (3) years from the date of issue. You will forfeit any balance not used prior to the expiry date. Some Gift Cards may state a one (1) year expiry term; however, from 31 March 2018, all Gift Cards will expire three (3) years from the date of issue, notwithstanding the expiry term stated on the Gift Card.

          @O O:

Ooh changed from the last deal. Might be able to justify holding onto $1000 of cards then.

  • So is general consensus one can purchase multiple ebay gift cards and get all the reward points in one go?so no need to seperately buy out each card?

    • +1

Yes, myself did $500 in one transaction for 10,000 shown on receipt

      • Awesome! Thanks

    • It depends on how you use the reward points. I'd prefer to make individual transaction so after first purchase, I'll not only receive reward points, but also getting discount applied for consecutive gift cards too.

      • Your referring to having woolies discount applied though and not having it convert to qantas points??

If you unselect qantas conversion though will swiping your woolies mean discount is applied automatically to your grocery shops?

        • I think so, I've only paid 90 bux for second card, 90 bux for third card and so on. $910 final bill for 10x $100 gift cards.

        • @monkp: Is it always $10 off your next shop, even if you have say 4000 points ($20) in your account?

        • @aoiro: No. It accumulates

        • @Turd: So if you had 4000 points it would take $20 off your next shop?

Because then could you just buy 9 $100 cards and get $90 ww credit in 1 transaction, then in a second transaction buy a final $100 card with $90 off? So you can do it in just 2 transactions?
