Getting a bit cold in Seoul by November.

And if you look to rent an apartment, be prepared to be without heater.

Seoul.. beautiful and safe city with plenty of things to do and eat

In winter the only thing you can do is going in shopping centres as outside is very cold.

I agree. I was about to ask ssp88 what is there to do. I went there once in early Dec, other than shopping and eating, not much to see and do that's why not interested in going back. Would going in Autumn or Spring make a lot of difference ?

          You could go skiing/snowboarding.

        • Autumn and Spring seasons are ok but be careful to plan so to avoid the raining season.
But I wouldn't spend too many days in Seoul unless you plan to do some shopping because you've already been there.
Seoul is the women's make up and clothes paradise, you just get lost in there by looking at the tonnes of stuff and choices.
Much less for men unless you're skinny, and avoid the western suburb (I forgot the name) where people say you can find big size western style clothes, that's is a bull as you'll only find very very expensive and ugly stuff.
Uniqlo is a good choice and sometimes they have sales, you can even buy online but you need a Korean delivery address.
And of course food is delicious and cheap.

          • @dealhunt: Unless you are into Asian fashion trend otherwise I'm not too sure about shopping for men, my sons found their fashion too different to those here so didn't shop much.

            • @sistermay: Uniqlo stuff is quite similar to what we see here and much cheaper, there're also some mall centres where you can find western brands too, you just need to do your homework before going there.
