Hey guys,

Guess who's back? We know eBay's a big favourite with OzBargainers here so we've been working very closely with them to bring you a mega cashback offer for 24 hours to end our 1st birthday celebrations with a bang!

So here's 10% cashback (normally 1%) on as many purchases as you like with no cap. There are no restrictions with this cashback (other than the categories listed under the "Some important things to note" section) and you can stack alongside any other promos that eBay currently have live.

Please note that cashback for eBay Australia will be running again for only today, 21st April. From 22nd April, they'll be offline again however we’re working with the eBay team to get the program up and running as quick as possible. Watch this space!

Some current offers:

A free 90 day eBay Plus trial is also available with the following benefits:

  • Free delivery and free returns on Plus items
  • Double flybuys points

If officeworks has some gift cards or boats on offer then it would be no though right?

  • Great bargain thanks

  • I assume tracking will be the same as it used to be, immediately upon the sale is confirmed and not after payment is made?

    • +1

Payment should be done by the end of today.

      • Will keep that in mind, thanks.

  • Haven't bought from ebay for so long, don't even know what to buy now…Good deals are hard to come by these days too, gonna start digging around

  • +1

Oh, No. Just spent more than $1k days before.

    • -1

Maybe you should have got the better discount then?

  • Any of my fellow ozBargainers got the lowdown on where I could find a cheap decent bedframe or mattress base on the Bay.

  • +1

This is freaking amazing. Just bought a Razer Blade 15 rtx2070 512gb that I've been eying for quite some time now after seeing this post! Took a fair bit ofd with the PRESS discount code and some eBay vouchers I had! Thanks @gotyourback and ShopBack!!

  • +3

Let's hope it tracks better than the recent amazon failure….

$629 Amazon purchase not tracked. But then, every order wasn't tracked on Amazon anyway.

    • Was this during %12 off Amazon a couple of days ago?

I've had one small purchase track but another multiple item order not track.

I've had a lot of success with shopback in the past but since christmas things have been a bit spotty.

Apparently something has gone wrong on Amazon's end according to this post:

    • I never had any issue with Amazon tracking.

  • Aww, no cheap RTX 2060 cards

  • Hi Shopback, will this work for items from overseas that are listed in USD or pounds (that are available on ebay.com.au)?

    • +1

Yes it will - just make sure you checkout via ebay.com.au.

  • Will it work with auction items?
After I won an item it would kind of stay in the shopping cart before I activate Shopback.
Does that mean I won't be eligible?

Or do I can to activate Shopback right before the item ends then head straight to check out to make it work?

    • +1

Activate cashback > bid on the item > win > pay by the end of today :)

  • Just to clarify, do you still get to use the accompanied codes?

So say for example I use PATCH and get 15 percent off the second item, do I still get 10 percent cash back of the overall order from shopback?

    • Yes, this is outlined in the post as well.

      • Think were people are getting confused….

There are no restrictions with this cashback """"(other than the categories listed below)""" and you can stack alongside any other promos that eBay currently have live.

        Then you have this…

Buy One, Get One 15% off Sitewide ($75 min spend) with code PATCH
7% off Selected Sellers ($120 min spend) with code PRESS
3% off Eligible Items ($30 min spend) with code PLACE
Dyson V6 Slim Cordless Vacuum at $269.10 with code PSLIM10

People maybe confused that these could be categories because they are listed below, even though you say current offers and then clearly say can be stacked. First time i read it which was the speed read greatest hits….., I thought these are not included. Change the position of this text (Some current offers:) save a stack of the same questions. OK, my work here is done. Bed time / pray 20% time!

        • Fair enough :)

          Here's the update:

other than the categories listed under the "Some important things to note" section

  • +1

    need a Samsung S10e deal

    • +1

You can have it 842 at Bing Lee eBay. Although it is 40 dearer than the previous 20% off. But still a cheapest deal you can get now.

      • Some have reported that Officeworks price match with Amazon that brings it to $806

has anyone used this seller before? It'd be a great deal as 7% applies and it's AU stock

      • With postage it brings it to $855.55, why not go for the Amazon deal instead??

        • That's without the cashback isn't it? I believe the 7% can be stacked with the 10% cashback or am I missing something?

          • @Mikk22: ahh yes, that's without cashback

Cashback will bring it to $769.95, good deal however like you said, the seller isn't that mainstream

            • @Homr: yeah that's my concern but it is a good deal… decisions!

              • @Mikk22: he is also selling the green one for $880 base

                $753.25 after discount applied

                • @Homr: That's quite good. I just don't understand how the seller has it so much cheaper than elsewhere even without these discounts

  • +1

    damn…literally bought stuff yesterday!

  • +1

    Again. After brought something

    • +16

Next time don't bring it, just buy it.

  • Think it might be finally time to pull the trigger on a xbone. I need a new console to gather dust next to the PS4.. 🙃

    • +1

Do it! Then sign up to Gamepass - $1 for 3 months. You'll have access to lots of games

  • +1

Thanks, used it with PRESS voucher cause $22 off better than $10.

And happy anniversary, I've only started to use you guys last november for a bunch of Xmas stuff that all went through fine ;)

You guys had some epic 30% off cashback for clothing sites along with the 5p% off Sitewide as etc.

And as for Mazda users… Genuine Android auto retrofit kit currently on Easter sale with 10% off + ebay PRESS 7% off + shopback 10% off so around $225 if interested.

Does cashback apply to officeworks ebay store?

  • I have had greater success with the shopback ap.

Can I use the ap to make my purchase?

  • Other Lots More Items (88433)

    How about real expensive whisky

  • +1

We know eBay's a big favourite with OzBargainers here

    I lol'ed.

    • Tbh it was. They had some great deals last year. They've gone downhill since the start of this year.

  • +1

To the rep - how does this cashback work for purchases with offers? For example if:
    a) I offer to buy an item with a seller and they accept that offer, or
    b) the seller sends me an offer

Would the accepted offer automatically come in my cart, so I would need to accept an offer to add to my cart?

    • You just need to pay today.

    • Oddly enough, I just had this issue. A seller had sent me an offer yesterday. I wasn't "sold" on the the price, but with this 10% CB it took it. I kept having to activate the Shopback extension as it kept deactivating. I have a feeling being sent an offer doesn't work. The tracking stops when you go into your messages.

When you make an offer, though, it might work because you're adding to your cart and it can track that.

      Happy to be proven wrong.

    • Keen to know this too

    • Best offers have often been clunky with cashback, but we find it typically on works if you activate cashback, make the offer and it gets accepted right away and you pay for it right away. So more leaning on scenario a).

      • Thanks rep. Decided against using offers and just used the buy it now.

  • Thanks shopback!

Hesitated on one item but now bought! Delay is always good!

  • I've never managed to get shopback to work. I've bought a few things through them but never go a single credit. Not even when I got revered from a friend. Don't know why it doesn't register.

    • ad-blocker?

      • I don't have anything installed. Even if I do on 4g and on phone it doesn't work too. Cause then I know there is nothing blocking.

        • +1

          Have you contacted OP yet?

  • +1

    Nice one Shopback!

  • Are car parts included in the cars, bikes, boats category?

    • Nope, there's a separate category called Vehicle Parts & Accessories.

      • Bikes = bicycles or motorcycles?

  • +1

Well I hope it worked, thanks OP!

  • Brought lots of white good from Bing Lee eBay the other day :-(
    Orders already dispatched :-(

  • Does ShopBack cash back rate calculate base on ex-tax price if the item from local seller?

    • Should be based on the price including tax, but for overseas sellers it's the price excluding the tax charged at checkout.

      • +1

Does amazon.com.au treated as overseas seller?

        • Amazon is separate but cashback for them always tracks on the pre GST price. Depends on who you're buying from there are items fulfilled by Amazon AU (local) and items fulfilled by Amazon US (international/overseas).

  • Thanks OP - finally was about to justify using up the bloody $49 voucher from the ebay plus promo with its crappy $150 min spend - splashed out on some nice filler board games.

  • +2

    600 votes for ebay?

  • The return we've all been waiting for!

  • -1

Does this work with car parts accessories?

  • +1

Thank you… just need to find something to buy…

  • +1

you guys are legends. please stay with us forever.

  • Does the 10% discount apply to the full price or the price minus the gst? Also, if 7% discount applies to an item, do you get 10% off the price minus the 7%?

  • Long time CR member; however, this deal is quite enticing considering my supplier raised the price of their product by $30.

Is anyone having issues signing up through the Ozbargaln $11 link? It keeps playing the flash graphic over again, this is through the mobile site (I have no access to a computer).

    • +1

Strange, could you perhaps try signing up through the special page but requesting Desktop site instead to see if it works?

    • I'm on a PC and it doesn't work for me either. The $2 one does. But the $11 one just takes me to the $2 page again.

  • Would I be able to get shopback on international items purchased on the EBay Australia website? E.g. looking at Tupperware from Malaysia.

  • Deals for tab s4??

  • Heya, Anyone having problem with the link? I get the "Awesome your on your way to 10% bla bla" but then it stalls. I've gone through both the OZB link and straight through 'Shopback' same result. also, done it through two web browswers (Safari and Firefox) help please!

    • Works okay for us, are you trying this on desktop or mobile?

      • Desktop. cheers

        • +1

Any particular antivirus software enabled perhaps? Might be a firewall or something that needs to be disabled.

Otherwise maybe try using mobile data to get through.

If none of that works, I'm honestly not too sure what's going on and would suggest adding those items you want to buy onto your watch list/cart on your desktop device, then purchasing through ShopBack's mobile site or app.

          • +1

@gotyourback: Thank you so much man. It must be something at my end unfortunatly. Appreciate the quick reply and customer service. All the best!

  • After purchasing, how soon can we transfer the cashback credit to our bank account?

    • Cashback for eBay purchases will take about 60 days to become confirmed and available to cash out.
