Feel kinda guilty about abusing these promotions. But hey who can resist (almost) free paper?

    • +1

A single order is not abuse but merely taking advantage of an offer by the company. Lighten up!

  • $1 per ream of Reflex paper- Delivered!. Can't be any happier. Also just used up the last one too at home so its perfect timing! Good work OP!

    • +1

Hey just so you know - theres still about $2 left in your voucher if you buy the reflex box. So you can do what I did and get an extra ream of the cheap stuff (or anything else you may want for $2).

    • where was reflex that cheap? gah jah… i just ordered a less known company.

For those that have children at school it might be a good idea to start ordering things they will need for next year ie glue, pencils, display books etc. Many schools have their book lists on line, so it's possible to see the list applicable for the next year and order what you can now.

  • And we've ordered $60 worth of stuff for $16.50, keep it coming!

  • Just ordered toothpaste, a pen, a dish washing bruch, and some other sh*t.

Does anyone know if the Canon ip2700 printer for $29 actually comes with ink? The description says:

    PIXMA iP2700 Supplies:

CL511 FINE colour ink cartridge (standard yield) - 87215631

PG510 FINE black ink cartridge (standard yield) - 87215624

CL513 FINE colour ink cartridge (high yield) - 87215632

PG512 FINE black ink cartridge (high yield) - 87215625

Which are the inks compatible with my current printer. The cannon website says it comes with '2 ink tanks' but doesnt specify which ones, I assume it would be the two standard yeild cartridges listed above. If so that would be awesome as the inks themselves are $20 each… $29 for the 2 and a free printer woulbe be awesome!

    • opps I didn't mean for that to be all big and bold… and not sure how to fix it :(

      • +1

oh really? you don't? press "edit" and delete those sentences and re-write again word by word, not copy and paste :p

        • +1

Comment can't be edited once someone has replied to it (So people should "preview" to play it safe first)

      • +2

You must have started and ended with 2 asterisks. That is the code to bold words in between. Starting and ending words with a single asterisk causes italics.

        • at last I know how to write in bold … ooohhh … and italics :)

        • let me try

        • edit: double post.

    • The usual printer company trick is to include "starter" cartridges with consumer printers with a whole lot less ink than the regular cartridges.

  • Staples is awesome! Paper for everyone!!

  • Try this for $9.45 delivered….. Earthwise Kitchen Towel 2Ply (Ref 2554) 70 Sheets per roll Pack of 2 / Carton 12

    Any ideas?

    • +3

      I'm thinking something went wrong.

    • same

  • buying another 500 pack of staples from staples. can't wait :)

  • Is the postage costs coming out of the $20 voucher for anyone?

For me, it is a separate charge, which makes alot of stuff more expensive than just buying it from down the street. To get $10 of free paper from staples costs me $11 postage.

    • +1

If you are in metro areas, the postage is 11 but for us, half. And 10 reams of paper for 11 is still a decent price.

A deal cannot appeal to anyone. If you were a billionaire all of these would be a joke, rite?

  • Another day, another discount code.
Got some tins of Milo, TDK headphones and some rubber bands for $6.

  • Wow so many bargains just bought myself an inkjet printer for $14.50

    • +11

      Work toilet paper!

Work toilet paper is OK if you have an industrial arse and/or don't mind touching your own bum occasionally when it breaks through.

      • +7

Just make sure you don't touch other people's bums at work ;-)

      • an 'industrial arse'? hahaha that is funny

    • +6

I'm sure it will do the job. Otherwise upgrade to Reflex ;-)

    Another great find!

Man.. wouldn't want to be the people at the dispatch/packing warehouse tomorrow morning.

    • +9

Warehouse worker after looking at orders over the weekend: "Oh f*ck, they've discovered the other codes."

  • Bought a 8gb thumb-drive last night, got billed for it alright but there's no record on their website of the order being made :( Fired off an email about it, let's see what happens.

Edit: For those interested it's the comsol 8gb stick, the Verbatim one is sold out:
    http://www.staples.com.au/filing-and-storage/digital-data-st…

    • not the best read write speeds!

but yeah for $5.50 thats a bargain!

    • Just got off the phone with Shane from staples, dude was super helpful and got it all sorted. Turns out they've been really busy on the weekend (big surprise) and sometimes this happens. The payment appearing on my bank account is a pre-authorisation payment basically parking the cash and making sure it's available, they don't properly bill you until the item is packed and shipped. So in three days or so the payment should be returned.

    • +1

I got 4 ink cartridges, 1kg of modelling clay, 12 markers and a fineliner for $15 (using three discount codes). Given that the ink cartridges are normally $10 each, I feel like I've got value for money.

    • +3

The postage costs are applied after the coupon so u can't reduce it. $11 postage is a killer for all but 1 or 2 items. The $5.50 postage if u are in a metro area is fine but it will also kill the value on items where the saving was minimal to begin with (see points 2 and 3)

$5.50 for 1.5kg of milo seems like a great deal to me.

The fact that most items are very overpriced. Eg. I think all the hard drives were increased in price as soon as these codes started popping up.

I thought the hard drives were on special until sold out (and the sold out after the coupons came out, then the price went back to normal)

The fact that most of the best value items are out of stock, like the USB drives.

Not their fault you were slow. They had plenty of stock before. You can't expect them to have an unlimited supply of every single product now can you.

    • stop being so sour, a savings is a savings, you don't see woolies/coles pulling this stunt and delivering to you via StarTrack Express.

Staples by far, have the best marketing strategy right now for quick penetration into Aus and creating brand awareness. I would be surprised if no one talks about them in the next few weeks.

If you clearly check SOME items, they are actually cheaper than Officeworks.

But no, you are hellbent on wanting those HDDs when clearly those type of bargains are once off, they were meant to be like an ignition to start the "engine".

If you think $8 is cool, how about petrol and time to travel?

    • If youre only getting 2 pencils…no shiz its not a good deal.

  • Thanks, got some cheaper ink (they claim to have alreday 25% off ink), and other assorted stuff i didn't really need, but feel somewhat happy taking off their hands.

I wonder of you could price match Officeworks online?

    • Look at the bottom right of the home page for their 100% Best Price Guarantee http://www.staples.com.au/pricepromise?ns_campaign=Footer_Ba… If it's advertised on the Officeworks site (or anywhere else) they will match it, or refund you the difference if you find it cheaper in the next 30 days. However, for those of us taking advantage of the vouchers, be aware that they will compare the price you paid after applying the voucher to the other advertised price.

      • I was probably more talking Offieworks matching the codes on their website, plus the 10%, therefore Officeworks, i want my $22 worth of free stuff (three times over) thanks!

  • +6

Now this is what I call one hell of a nice a loss leader. Well, triple that.

  • Cool thanks. Just got 5 reams of Reflex A4 for $5.50!

  • 2 big boxes of "just right" (and some kitchen gloves) for $5.50.

Wifes account, 5L handwash for ~7$

If someone finds another code i might just have to order another 1.5KG of MILO!

    • +1

I ordered 1.5kg milo with the first coupon xD

      That hand wash is tempting.

  • .

  • Are those duracell rechargeables any good?
