Sheesh, whatever items i look at that i think i will be interested in seem so darn pricey. Is that the case for most items there? I mean CD / DVD storage wallets are super pricey, same for air dusters. Is paper the only thing that is worth while there?

If you're not home you will get a card with instructions on what to do.
You can sign the card and leave it at your door and they till then leave it at your door (you will need to call to get the driver to come around again though)

They must really be loosing a fair bit of money with these discount codes, of the three orders I put through on the weekend, they would have been able to consolidate them and pack most of the items in one box, instead they had packed something like one bottle of spray in a huge box and a tin of coffee with a marker in another, all shipped with different connotes. I cant imagine the $15 odd dollars I paid being able to cover the costs of getting it couriered as well as for the cost price of the products themselves. On another note, i'm a happy boy :)

website is stuffed, my order doesnt seem to exist and items i bought last week are now out of stock (but they werent when i ordered it!) regularly keep getting strange text and other things come up on screen when looking at my account…honestly very frustrating
Sounds like you are making it frustrating for yourself. If you completed the order than why does it matter whether they are in stock now? If you made the order, why is it so important to log in and check it again? Just wait for the dispatch email and it will be on the way. Not that hard.

Yay all my junk came today-2 days after shipping notice.
Strangely they sent me two identical invoices for one of my boxes.
Nothing went wrong with my order (sadly, can't get free stuff :P).
Got my orders today (one to go) everything was sent correctly. Mind you they need to fix their picking system quick smart. How longt can they keep doing business giving everyone $60 worth of free stuff, stuffing up orders, letting you keep their stuff up, and sending again at their own expense. Staples might end up there with Borders, OFIS, Krispy Kreme if they keep this up. I will eagley await the post for their closing down clearance.

I'm sure the majority of OzBargainers have done the old dash and run with their $60 worth of stuff, and won't probably shop with them again. Most of their prices are somewhat inflated against Officeworks, they can't even pick their orders correctly, so i struggle to see them making it big here. I'm about to jump back on their site and see what else i can get.

I am massively stoked to score all the (nearly)free goodies , but……..
Staple's pickers seem like spazzes on speed. Their goods are mostly sent without foam/airbags in badly taped up inappropriate boxes. Mine arrived pretty thoroughly squashed and rooted. There's no way I'd buy any delicate computer goods from this joint.
A lot of my stuff had fine grey dust all over it too.
Hahah I know I know, sound like a Pom at a whingeing festival but I am thinking that whole idea of this promotion was to prime the pump with a really positive image of the company.
I have walked away thinking that they suck at packing, their stuff is quite dear (without the vouchers), their database is insecure and the transport is iffy at best.

I am frigging delighted with all the paper, pens Milo and though.
Prior to this big rush their picking seemed to be excellent, I suspect they're just struggling to catch up (maybe some new hires?) Surely that'll settle down in a few weeks.
Their transport is a standard courier company, although to be honest I'm surprised since hardly any of the major retailers in Oz seem to use Star Track Express. It seems odd to me - doesn't Corporate Express have their own delivery drivers?
I haven't had anything turn up dusty but then I'd probably not be that bothered, I've bought plenty of Officeworks clearance stuff and that in general comes with a really, really thick layer of dust.
Their website, well, that was a pretty big cock-up.
All in all my impression is that they're a company to watch in the future, although like most OzBargainers I'm not likely to pay RRP for anything. They do have one thing over OW though, they don't have that ridiculous handling charge.
One of the boxes they sent, was their standard box, with just one ink cartridge in it, no bubbles, padding or anything. It survived. Idiots, probably could have mailed it for 1/3 of the cost.
The promotion for the really cheap paper has ended. RIP. You did us well.
I was going to buy 10 reams last night but my wallet was downstairs. tried today at work and AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH paper is $5.50 (delivered) for a box.
$1.10 for a ream of paper!!!! 500 sheets!!!! that is like $0.0022 per sheet.

Completed three separate orders with three unique codes. Only one item has been charged to my CC and the respective item has been delivered… no word from them about the other two orders since the order confirmation email was sent to me… hmmm
I had the same thing….made 3 orders and have been charged and received 2 but one is in limbo…..sent them an email with the order no yesterday but still waiting to hear from them.
order arrived almost a week later, ONLY after i phoned to ask what had happened to it…emails via the website are never answered. Boxes arrived squashed with NO padding, soft drink was packed in with the CHIPS so had torn open and smashed chips all over the place and most items broken or damaged in some way, this is my second order with these problems, a bargain it may be but no point if it arrives like this!

Received 1 of 3 items, sent three emails in the last three days, no reply at all, called them up twice each time hanged up after waiting 15 minutes, appalling service
I have two orders placed last week, but have not received any of them. Tried to call them twice, but gave up after waiting for more than 20 minutes. Sent an inquiry online, no response yet. I am in Melbourne by the way.
Called up their customer service today, very friendly and helpful though. After checking in the system, Vic warehouse is out of stock for my item, most probably have to wait till next week. Staples will call you up if they are really out of stock or the temporary credit card authentication payment is expired (according to him, some only remain for a few days).

Don't feel bad, I would have rathered the Reflex, since there are 3 x $20 coupons, and I'm not going to print 5000 pages in a hurry. A ream of Reflex is 5.5cm tall, compared to just 5cm tall for the Impulse. Picking up a sheet of Impulse paper, you immediately notice that it's not as thick as a Reflex sheet. Whiteness is comparable.
I had to thumb through the Impulse ream a few times to loosen up the sheets before putting them into my printer (Brother HL-2140), otherwise some blank pages would also come through.
Looks like the HP paper is all gone, down to the Australian or Impulse at $10 for 5 reams.
second order, now OVER A WEEK LATER and still not delivered…this is in a metro area…it may be a bargain but not so if you dont get it!

I think they have different dispatch warehouses in different states.
I'm in Victoria and most of my packages have been battered. Never any airbags or padding either, just my stuff floating around in giant boxes.

I would be more pissed off in your situation had I have paid more than $5.50 for what was over $30 worth of value.
I think everyone's comes the same.
It's not that it has "clearly been opened", it's just that STAPLES never bothered packing in proper in the first place.
Everything is dumped into a poorly constructed box, then randomly sealed (in my case, the box wasn't even sealed).
I don't think it's the delivery guy's fault that poor quality boxes are used, since STAPLES are the one packing them.
Poor packaging indeed. Ordered a 1.75kg of sugar, and they placed it in one of those plastic bags with no bubble wrap or anything, and guess what, the sugar exploded in the bag =.=
I guess they used all the boxes and air bags for pens and rubber bands.
Will email them now, for people who experienced similar problems, do they send you another one for free or will I have to returned the exploded sugar?
They'll send you another free if you explain the situation, a previous order of soft drink and chips etc was totally smashed everywhere, and they knew what i was going to say once they saw my order…however i am still waiting for the replacements to arrive, now at least 1 and a half weeks later, no response from them whats happened to it despite promises they will get back to me.
I'm in melbournes eastern suburbs, also dont expect a reply from them via their email i have written many times to complain/query whats happening and they never respond.
I honestly wouldnt consider buying from them after this, and their normal prices are horribly expensive compared to elsewhere, had the service been better and impressed me, i would have considered paying the premium for future office related products from them for my company, but no way in hell would i do so now!!

I've only used this card on staples.com.au.. so its either a shonky website or my pc is compromised
I've run multiple scans and nothing out of the ordinary has popped up.
Did you purchase when staples was having that security issue where you could see other peoples account, or before/after that(when it was fixed)? If its after all that, then its security is definitely dodgy. I was hoping to avoid things like that by ordering after its fixed :S
well i give up, replacement items never arrived and no response to any emails or complaints about the second smashed up package - last phone call they disconnected after they said they were going to have a look at the account - coupled with the security problem i think something dodgy is going down with some of these orders

call them with skype. that way you won't worry about cost and can hold forever :)
I dont believe this place, all this time later i finally recieve the replacement order to make up for the previous smashed one, and guess what? - the replacement order is smashed too!! - seriously you cant count on your items being delivered in one piece!!
