Does anyone know if it can be split up- e.g. if we have only 3 users, will it last 2 years?

And whether or not we can stack these?

    • +3 votes

e.g. if we have only 3 users, will it last 2 years?

      No

And whether or not we can stack these?

      Yes, max 5 years

      •

You can stack 3 which will show on your account. I added a fourth voucher this morning and had to contact support as the last one did not show on my account. It will appear in six months when the current subscription expires.

Same. Would prefer 3 users and 2 year subscription. No deal with this one for me.

  •

Wont split up its up to 6… unsure on stacking but I assume it would.

  •

    Thanks OP.
Can I buy this now and activate it later? e.g. once I am out of uni?

Not sure the expiry of using the licence code - it's not clear on that…. And I've personally just added to my amount when I get it as it uses up my previous code first.

But if you aren't going to use it soon, usually this does pop-up at least once a year. I've paid around this price by waiting each year for the 20% off with a seller that doesn't price jack. Set up an OzBargain search alert for "office 365 home" (or personal if you only need 1 licence).

      • +2 votes

Oh and use the double quotations in the search alert or you'll get lots of unrelated notifications 🙂

        •

Is there a tutorial about all these features on Ozbargain? Didn't even know about alerts lol

          •

@WilkyBoy: There's the wiki pages under pages that has tips and tricks.
To create a search alert, search for what you want the alert to be about (e.g. "office 365 home"), then after you run the search, a ! create alert is under the search bar - click on that.

Ahh I get it. Since I get office though uni for free I don't want to buy this only for it to have expired by the time I need it.
I'll send a PM to Bing Lee via eBay and see if they know.

        Thanks:)

Edit: Will do regarding the notifications.
        Thanks again

Pretty good deal. Not much more than Microsoft Hup.

    • +1 vote

with the discount code its cheaper than the HUP isn't it? HUP for 6 user is $99 (from the $129 rrp) and $69 for 1 user. (At least that's the prices I'm seeing via HUP.)

Thanks OP. Perfect timing - my current subscription expires in one month.

6TB cloud storage for $76 is great value

  •

Can I login with different accounts or has to be the same account?

  •

Perfect timing. I was just thinking about buying another year's subscription before tax time.

  •

So I am currently paying 2.99 per month for a one drive +50 subscription; if I purchase this licence, would I be able to cancel my one drive subscription without moving my current documents? Would add the subscription to the same account as my current one drive subscription

    • +1 vote

if a licence is attached to the same email address, you'll get 1TB, other 5 licences need to be attached to other email addresses.

  •

Anyone seen a similar deal for Adobe Creative Cloud?

    • +2 votes

Adobe CC license can't be re-sell. If you can find someone who is re-selling Adobe license it will be for sure part of corporate licensing. Since 2017 or 2018 Adobe license can be only purchased directly via Adobe.

  •

Why is it that the Office Home is $129 on the Microsoft store, but only $96 at Bing?

    • +14 votes

Because different stores sell the same thing at different prices.

If they didn't there would be no need for ozbargain

I understand competition……however I have been given the option for the HUP program which gives me 30% off.. which brings it to %90.30 per year

Not really much of a discount..

  •

Hmmm… Been waiting a couple of months for this again. Missed by about 1.5 hours. Do they sometimes restock before sales are over?

    • +3 votes

Not legal license. They are basically reselling you a seat in their enterprise subscription. Which means they will have access to all your data, email and anything else you choose to put in their. worst possible way to get a pirated copy.

      •

Sadly, because motion2082's comment was below threshold and hidden, your good comment is standing alone without context and it seems like you're saying that the Bing Lee offer is not legal !

      •

Only if you don’t change your password :)

Although I can’t confirm what access they would actually have.

So you reckon it’s not worth the risk?

        Comment was

        4 Years Office 365 for 5 people - includes 5TB of space ($25AUD)
        https://www.cdkeyhouse.com/2864-microsoft-office-365-lifetim...

You have to get a 2FA code sent to your mobile and then they activate your license under a 3xxx@myoffice.site

Then you just add as many email accounts as you need.

In 4 years you will need to start a new account which kinda sucks if you have lots of data

But for $25 it's much better than all the retail deals

        • +1 vote

It is an enterprise account. They can reset your password at any stage they feel like it or simply grant themselves access to your onedrive and email account. This is not a stand alone account, they appear to be giving you an account within their tenant.

or worse still when MS realise they are breaching their licensing agreement you will simply lose access altogether.

PS: and of course it is a cheaper deal than retail, pirate/illegitimate licenses always are as you aren't actually getting a real license.
PPS: it is also not for 5 people. They are giving you a single 5 device license with a total of 1TB storage. A standard home gives you 6x5 device licenses with 6TB storage.

          •

@gromit: That's a bit concerning. Glad you let me know as I was going to store some passwords in there.

Guess I will just go back to free Onedrive until MS lower their prices

    Deal is back up boys!

I see it's back in stock but when I try to apply the promo code I get error "This code can't be applied to your order."

I have PayPal selected as payment. Any other tips?

      •

It works for me, I ordered about 10 minutes ago.

        •

Still doesn't work for me. I still get error "This code can't be applied to your order."
I tried logging out/in, tried incognito mode, tried using a Sydney/NSW address… I'm out of ideas.

      •

Yeah, these never work for me either. I actually have a lot of difficulty applying codes on ebay, but this particular item I've never had it work. I assume it is because I am in QLD.

Any deals for office 2016 or 2019?

  •

My understanding is Office 365 gives 60mins Skype per month as well? (https://www.skype.com/en/offers/office365/) Useful for me where I have to make the occasional admin phone call to the UK.

  •

Thank you for posting the deal, my Office 365 subscription is due in about a month!

  • +2 votes

    Thanks for updating.
Bought 2 considering this is becoming an annual thing for me to do.

Remember Microsoft Office 365 is FREE if you or anyone in your household has an education (.edu.au) email address. Looks like you can install it on up to 5 devices - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/office

I have free office 365 to through uni but my Hotmail account is reaching it's 15gb limit. I'm currently paying $3 per month for extra OneDrive storage, is there any other way to increase my Hotmail storage without purchasing this ?

  • +1 vote

Are there any tricks to linking the extra OneDrive storage between accounts?
Or do I just to create 5 other accounts and then give my main account shared access to those?

    •

I am not aware of any way to directly increase the storage of your main account. You can give your main account access to a shared folder (will full rights) in one of the other accounts however.

    •

Could try StableBit CloudDrive to create six 1TB drives, then Stablebit DrivePool to link them all together. Chuck in a few box/dropbox accounts and have so much storage you don't know what to do with it all.

  •

Thanks. Bing Lee just emailed me the code <24 hours after ordering.

EDIT: Turns out you can't stack beyond 5 years. Microsoft asked me to try again in a year's time.
    "Sorry, you've reached the limit

We can't extend your subscription any farther. Please wait 1 year to renew.

    Error code: MaxStackingDurationExceeded"

    •

      These are the T&Cs from Microsoft's website…..
Important: Your Microsoft account can have only one active Office 365 subscription. If you enter more than one product key at office.com/setup, you're extending the amount of time for that Microsoft account, not increasing the number of Office installs or amount of online storage you get. You can renew and extend the duration of an Office subscription for a maximum of 5 years.

  •

Is it possible to buy and share with 4 friends? So we have a group of 5 paying for it and each using it on one of our devices?

    Similar to stan/netflix

  •

Still haven't received my code and it's been 48 hours. Is this a physical product delivery? Title says digital delivery.

    •

Check you junk email. should come through as "Bing Lee - Your digital delivery". I order two lots and got both emails, first one overnight, second one a few hours after order.

  •

Now it's even less - $66 with a new coupon. Too late for me though :(
