  • Great. Any recommendation for a decent and affordable Mono Laser Printer with Duplex Printing? Wireless would be ideal but not really a must.

  • Waiting on myer

  • how do i get 20% off? do i have to be ebay plus member or it automatically does it at checkout for those sellers?

    • +3

      Use the code

      • +2

The code is not strong with this one.

I just tried to apply the code to this:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/333167731348

and it didnt work, despite the listing advertising that it does ? Confused :(

    • +1

Yeah its not just that listing, have tried multiple at mi_official_store and they are the same.

They have the promotion in their listings but it doesn't apply at checkout.

Talked with eBay support and they say those items are not in the promotion, which is against the promotion T&Cs only gift cards should be excluded.

I have opened a case with eBay which they have 48 hours to respond and then I am going to Consumer Affairs as its a bait and switch and potentially false advertising.

This and the price jacking for the promotion by the stores involved needs to be stopped.

      • Go get 'em (both) tiger.

Thanks for the reminder, I'm after another 2 extra batteries!

Futu_Online just jacked their prices on the WD REDs. :( … lame.

    • They jacked their SSD's also, much pricier than competing stores.

    • They tremendously jacked up prices on practically all their SSDs and other items

  • "This code can't be applied to your order." with futu online

    • same here, tried to buy phone at sydney mobiles, doesn't work

    Anyone found Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones?

    • read up a few posts from yours

  • +1

    Damn where is Comp Alliance?

    • +1

They never get included in the blanket codes. Always their own code when they do it.

      • +1

From what I can tell, Computer Alliance don't price jack either with the coupons (or maybe I'm desensitised now). That being said, I really appreciate their service/returns/etc in the past so am happy to keep buying from them when they have promotions!

i'm looking at a shield media player, futu price after discount $220, not much different to CA the last discount they had.

When I inputed the code POSTIE, choosing an item from the eligible seller FUTU ONLINE (Seagate Ironwolf 8TB HDD), it said 'This code can't be applied to your order'.

What wrong thing have I done for that?

  • Postie not working in Futu. Also prices increased in other items that were in my cart.

    • just tried a shield media player with futu, POSTIE discount worked fine. Maybe the problem is sorted now?

  • +1

Looking for a 10" tablet … with half decent specs. Any ideas/real deals worth checking out, or just pricejack central ?

  • Thanks OP, saved 20% off iPhone I was looking at.

    • Could you share which iphone/store?

  • Looks like eBay own all these stores thus the price jacking.

  • +19

I reckon these EBay select discount posts should be backed up by 3 examples of genuine deals. As it stands this just seems like advertising for eBay.

Each time one of these deals come along it’s 1. Items I am after are not included or 2. Items I want are not competitive in pricing even after discounts. Or 3. Price jacking.

I appreciate the effort of posters but without examples of deals I can’t see where the bargain is. We don’t allow posts from stores who have 10% off select items without listing specific bargains why should it be different for eBay posts?

  • +5

i think futu can get fuku'd

the price jacking is so strong they must all have huge biceps

    • +4

They should just change their name to fu*kuonline

  • Any Xbox Ones?

    Please and thanks 😁

  • +1

So pissed off. When this deal first came out I was trying to purchase a 5700XT that was listed for 729… The discount code kept giving me an error…. 5 minutes later that seller jacked up the price to 785 and low and behold the code worked. Meh literally annoys me that this is allowed to happen. oh well

    • +1

I had the same. Sitting in my cart, came back to purchase and the price had gone up! Still in my cart saying $729 until you click on check out too - feels like it’s rubbing it in

  • Looks very jacked this time. Dyson V11 and ASUS Zenbook laptops all at RRP

  • +5

Jacked prices + $300 max discount makes this pretty piss poor.

  • Yup, many stores must've watched Titanic these few nights, got nostalgic, fond of Rose and want to be Jack. (Prices for many of the items I wanted to buy just got jacked up).

  • No Ryzen deals :(

  • Here is a great price jacking - Oppo Reno Z starting at $569 even though the official RRP is $499; after discount you get $449 which is …the price you can get at Multiple stores with no discount

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-OPPO-Reno-Z-Neo-Jet-Black-Un…

  • Saw apple watch for $829 (rrp $749) which us a joke but then $663 after 20%. Seems just an ok price (not the cheapest from bigw ebay deal last time).
Seller is sydneymobiles seems local AU

This mob doesn't seem to have any of their prices jacked? Some pretty good deals to be had if they have what you're after.

  • How is Lenovo part of this sale if they're "away"

    Am I missing something?

  • +1

Haha, was watching a couple of 64GB SD cards @ $20 now they've been price jacked to $25. So instead of discounted to $16, surprise, surprise, the new price brings them back to original $20. What a dodge!
