    Great deal

  • +2

128gb Pixel 3 XL plez- actually not pink hahaha

  • I asked in the XL deal and now we receive! You're a champion TA.

  • -4

Its $599.50 from google with 50% code

    • +15

That's the 64gb version, the 128gb is $674.50 and hence this is cheaper than Google themselves.

      • +8

        Thanks for the clarification.
        I didnt realize

  • That's not a bad deal at all!

  • +3

If it's not pink then what is it?

    • +12

The greatest coupon code of all time.

    • Pink but "not pink"

That's why the code is PinkArse hahahahha

  • what a solid deal.

would buy if had in black!!!

Insecure about your masculinity because of a colour? That's oddly ghey of you.

    • as a completely straight man I will happily rock a flamboyantly coloured phone if it looks good. Be confident in yourself :)

      • That's gay culture appropriation.

    • Get a solid colour case then you can barely tell phone colour

  • "Warranty 24 Months(AU)"

Is that with Google, Mobileciti, either? wonder if anyone that bought from Mobileciti has needed to contact Google for warranty.

    • +3

Mobileciti will likely try and push you onto Google, not sure if other people have had luck getting them to honour warranty directly in the past as per ACL.

I had a phone previously with ghosting issues (less than 1 year after purchase) and they refused to replace it, and had me call Motorola Australia and handle it myself.

      • +3

I got pixel 2 xl from jbhifi. It had issue with the charging port, contacted google and they said they would have replaced it with new phone if it was purchased through google.

        • +2

Did Google fix your phone though?

          • @nfr: Nope, Had to send it to telstra who refused to repair it.
But google was willing to check it

            • +2

@monpemon: That's odd. I bought my Pixel 2XL from jb too. It recently had an issue; I contacted Google, and they asked me to send it to them, they then replaced it with a refurbished one. All through Google.

      • I've found Google to be excellent with RMAs, so should be no problems if that's the case here

        • Why not buy a watermelon?
Coles are also good at replacing watermelons that have issues.

      • I had bought a Nokia 8 from mobileciti and they happily handled the warranty claim. I didn't have to go to Nokia. Wonder what the criteria are.

        • The criteria is the sales people pass it around the office and if they "can't see anything wrong with it" they refuse to do anything :/ your chances of this happening with the pixel 3 speaker issues is quite high….

    • +1

I believe you can do both ways.

      • Is it because it's Pink (not) ??

  • Bitta pink, bitta stink

Fantastic deal, and I'm looking for a $600(ish) phone to update my Essential phone, but buying this close to the Pixel's announcement seems silly - hoping for a Pixel 4a announcement, obviously ;)

    • +1

but buying this close to the Pixel's announcement seems silly'

      1) stock is running out ( google site only list the 64g white as available ).
      2) the new prices won't be close to this.
      3) pay with a cc with price protection.

      • True, but hopefully if a Pixel 4a gets announced, it's price is in-line with the 3a .. but we'll see.

  • Nice!!!

  • I get at least one call everyday from MobileCiti or Citimobile, don’t know. They ask me to buy phone but I tell them everyday I am not interested and please remove my number from the list. They don’t bother at all and shamelessly call me everyday without fail. All of them are girls from India, I can tell from the accent.

    • Block the number

    • +3

      Definitely not Mobileciti. Read this…

    • +3

      You dont like Indian girls?

      • No

      • do you?

        • I like all girls

Next time you think a company is calling you constantly just try Googling "{company} phone scam". Eg, I typed in "Mobileciti phone scam" and straight away got top links that showed the company is not responsible for this. Surprised you didn't even try to call or email the company direct to complain and just put up with the constant calls.

      • Thanks Mike
I didn't bother to check coz I thought they are legit. They use a different number every time they call.

what do people use all that storage for on a phone? I mean if you never delete photos after 5 years, maybe sure.. but ??? Just wondering cuz Ive never gone over 10gb :0

    • +1

I've got 54GB of local music (including downloaded albums from streaming services), about 5GB of podcasts, 8GB of photos and videos, 3.5 GB of games … it all adds up. Still 20GB free though (of 128GB)

      • Thanks. I guess it does add up quick. I've never used my phone for music, only photos and apps.

        • I am probably in minority these days when it comes to keeping loads of music on my phone. I've discovered the convenience of streaming services, but I still download everything to my phone .. old habits die hard I guess ;)

    • Videos, movies, music, games. Take your pick (or picks)

It's not that hard to get it, just try a little

    • +1

I've got a contact list with long surnames (Greek and Indian), so many gigabytes of storage is a must.

      • +1

That would go even higher if you had Srilankan or Philippines contacts.

      • +1

Say you have 10,000 contacts and each one averages 100 characters per name. That would take up about 2MB on your phone, assuming 2 bytes per character. Unless you keep the white pages for the entire world on it, I don't think your contact list is what is filling up your phone.

  • Anyone know if these guys deliver to NZ ?

Not pink is my favourite colour, but I already have an LG V30+ from a prior deal and can't justify the spend.

  • +2

…and want a smaller phone with twice the memory storage

Good to ensure it's not confused with RAM.
