THIS IS A STEAL ! HAVEN'T FOUND IT CHEAPER, EVEN ON eBAY !

    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XG2411/canon-sx130is-digital…

Pop in the $30 off Coupon and you get FREE Postage ! TOTAL $198 !

    • +3

I got one from harvey norman for only $187.

but $198 is still very good.

This is a perfect camera for beginner :)

        BARGAIN !!

    • +3

A couple of quick searches with Shopbot, StaticIce etc. show many that are cheaper. Even after you factor-in delivery etc.

      • -1

Most of them dont have stock.

      • I DOUBT that, as i just tried that before posting this. Cheapest postage was $50 from HK/China inc Insurance and Warranty, well GOOD LUCK with that ! LOL

    • good buy, I grabbed one, just use NM batteries, not alk.

    • Lol, I tried to price match the Harvey Norman price of $229 at Dick Smith last week and was told they couldn't do it as that was 'way below cost'. A week later and it is the normal price! Plus discount code available!

I think this is on runout with a new model (sx140?) due to be announced this month. A great price though and would be getting this with the $30 off voucher if I hadn't got one yesterday at Diamonds (doh!).

  • Been waiting for weeks for WDTV Live closer to the price of $98, that my local Officeworks WAS selling. They put a catalog out, and it goes back up to $108?! Make sense of that.

Anyway… Using this coupon, I grabbed 2 for $198 ($99ea), delivered to my door & 178 QANTAS Frequent Flier points.

    Thanks for the code!

It's a pity Dick Smith are not involved with the current AMEX $50 cash back offer this time around.

    • +2

I think you can get $250 wish card from BigW and use it at DSE, but I don't know if you can use gift card online though.

      • +2

Yes you can, there's an option to choose Wishcard, and you can even check your balance in the card online.

      • Did those that purchased a $250 Wish card with the last AMEX promotion end up getting the $50 rebate?

        • Dont think it was allowed.

        • i did get $50 after exact $250 spent at DS for giftcard

        • Yes I did after purchasing $250 giftcard at DSE.

        • i got my money order last week. just bought woolworth and caltex gift cards

    • It's OK, I'm sure it's not too difficult to spend the money elsewhere.

      • +1

You generally can use it online.

Excellent idea to get the wish card from BigW.

        • Much better than the electronics promotion previously where I simply couldn't find a wish gift card at any DSE stores, I ended up getting a Woolworths Caltex gift card which restricted my spend to petrol purchases.

Common sense tells me roughly $30 less than the usual price.

      • +4

        ahahaha classic.

However they're all in store only, so this offer does not apply to them.

        • However they're all in store only

          didn't notice that, thanks…

      • +2

roughly $30 less than the usual price.

apparently not, they are still the same price

dse tempting me with the HTC Legend again

    • Good for Sonic or Legend order.

Is it possible to order gift card together with the order?

    • Yeah, but you'll have to buy something else as well, as the Legend is only $199.

  • +2

Awesome, just used this with the HTC Legend and got it down to $170 delivered. Order 12 of these to make up the $1 shortfall on the Legend as they qualify for free shipping:
    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/Z2000/pn200-gen-purpose-amp-…

Dont ask me what they are though, they will probably end up in the bin once I get them.

  • Anyone know if you can price match an item using the coupon with officeworks? really want to pick up the item this arvo instead of waiting for delivery

    • Their delivery is very quick.

    • +2

It will depend on the salesman. I'd give it a go, but I wouldn't be too optimistic. My local OW will do anything to worm out of a deal (including giving me 'sorry we don't match MSY. Company policy' and labelling anything that's sold cheaply as 'international stock' with a different warranty, thus excluded from the 5% price match').

If you wanted hassle free, I suggest just waiting for DSE. Could be as quick as next day delivery.

      • Spot on mate, Airport West OW store is the tightest store ive come across, and u feellike a crim if u have to return anything!! Manager is BAD

      • That is nice.

why oh why couldn't they make the Huawei X5 available online? =\

  • Hmm, I don't know if it was a bargain or not. But me and my friend just bought this:

    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XM1257/wd-my-book-essential-…

    It's $199 with the coupon.

    • No that's not bargain. Buy something else.

    • Yeah, Officeworks have it in-store for $198. They had it online for $185 delivered. Missed out on that deal *sigh!

  • Too bad it cant used for HTC legend now. Its "in store" only.

  • Hey ppl I missed out on the Kmart 4GB Xbox bargain a few weeks ago would this be a good deal?
    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG5400/xbox360-4gb-console-w…

with $30 further off makes it about 303bux.Is it likely to drop further in price over the next month or two????

Hope to hear from someone Thanks.

EDIT - Also noticed this was a little cheaper than most places too:
    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG5407/xbox360-kinect-sensor…

    • yeah mate both are pretty good deals

      • Thanks Aussman, might pick one up this arve. Might pay to join that money back co thingy too if I can get 3% back on $300 ($9)

  • Are you guys sure you can get WISH gift card at BigW? As i have checked BigW online, lots of gift cards, but no WISH gift card.

  • Got an iPod touch 8GB for $239 less $30, so $209.
Includes free wall charger, retractable USB cord and hard clear cover.
    Pretty cool I think

    • Big W and Officeworks have had the 4th gen 8GB iPod Touch on sale for $198 over the past few weeks. Just went back up to their regular prices before the weekend though.

  • saved nearly $50 off the star wars xbox bundle, cheers op! ($30 plus staff discount, woohoo)

  • Expired now.

  • The link above has an extra / before the word "offer" which then gives a website maintenance page instead of the actual offer page.

  • I bought an HTC Legend + LG Optimus P350 for 199 + 108 = 307 in total.
