            And a second hand Note 8 at $600 would arguably be the worst deal in memory.

    I have a samsung galaxy s5. Which phone should I upgrade to? I mainly use it to read the news, light gaming, app usage, I like taking pictures and the occasional uber,ola and didi rides. Any suggestions? Thanks

      Came from the same situation as you. Upgraded to S9+ and it's good, but after buying the $144 A20 during the Big W Christmas sale, I'm now using that and have sold my S9+. Very light, cheap and fast.

        Yeah A20 is very hard to not recommend for a simple basic phone that does the job, big screen, huge battery. Probably the two most important things for most people anyway.

        Unless of course you take gaming on mobile seriously… eeewww

        It's camera isn't great, maybe the S8 if Pictures is your preference, I think the S8 was the last big leap Samsung had, has been small improvements since IMO.

        Although perfectly capable of running Android 10, Note 8 won't get it. Samsung provides only two OS upgrades and around 3 years of security updates.

    They also have the S10e (Optus branded but Oz stock, 24Mth warranty) for $705ish, as long as u like Prism Green.
    Irritatingly not a lot of good Green coloured cases out there to match it.

    I have S7 edge and am considering upgrade. Between s9+ and a70, which one is better?
    I don't play games but want bigger RAM for multitasking and better camera.

    S9+ is a great phone, mine is coming up on 2 years and the battery is going great.

    I don't game on it but has pretty heavy usage playing music and reading on it (yay for 3.5mm).

    For the first time since my 3310 my phone may last 3 years.
