Ryzen 5 2600 | RX 5700 Gaming PC: $1028 + Delivery @ TechFast

640
2600/5700-APR

New best price on a RX 5700 system, paired with Ryzen 5 2600 at a base spec. Rep Luke has advised of a $100 supplier price jack in RX 5700 GPU cost alone which meant previous deal pricing is not achievable.

Enjoy :)

Ryzen 5 2600 | RX 5700 8GB Gaming PC

  • Ryzen 5 2600

  • RX 5700 8GB (brand may vary)

  • Biostar A320 motherboard

  • 8GB 2666MHZ RAM

Luke has also said there are a few units remaining on my previous deals but they will all likely sell out over the coming weekend so be quick:

What's the build costs of these PC's usually someone does a comparison. But don't see them anymore for these deals. Does that mean it's actually cheaper to go through techfast?

  • Webpage has contradicting information - mentions both the 2600 and 3500X FYI

    • Definitely is confusing!

    • Fixed, thank you.

  • Somebody give me a GPU only deal! Working from home is driving me crazy. Need to play some gamessss

You can buy second hand gpu from eBay or something.

      • Link for used(discounted) RX5700 or RTX2060 please

  • For the older deal R5-3500X | GTX 1660: $788 what is the lead time? Also can the components themselves be shipped - Thanks

    • +2

officially its 14 business days but in my experience it can take twice that long. you can get the components shipped unassembled if you leave a note when placing the order.

  • You can use MorePowerTool with 5700XT BIOS to unlock the 5700 to 5700XT. Only catch is you need to reapply after driver update.

    • Do not do that unless you are watercooling. Thermals are horrible on the Mech that I got. It runs at 100c junction and turns into a jet engine (even with a fan curve). It has a edge junction delta of 30c which is way too high.

      • I've had my reference 5700 running as XT for a while now with no issues, using 1.11V undervolt, 1900mhz clock and slight increase to max fan RPM. Temps hover around 85 degrees under full load and it's quieter than my RX 590 was.

        • Yours is reference so it's actually better than the Mech that techfast provides. The Mech turns into a jet engine as soon as junctions get to 100c (even with underclock and airflow is good).

          • @Void: Ah that sucks :(

            • @Ryballs: Yep. At the moment I've reduced max fan speed in MorePowerTool to stop the loud noise but at the cost of thermals. I'm waiting on Techfast support to see if I can exchange for a different variant. MSI is know for "Thermal pad gate" where they don't use big enough thermal pads and it leads to high VRM and Memory temps.

              • @Void: In that case I'd happily pay an additional $50ish to have reference. The jump in performance using 5700 XT BIOS is easily worth $/% performance gain. Especially if you have 1440p+ or high Hz monitor.

                • @Ryballs: I was denied a refund or exchange of the 5700. So I'll have to make do. Will probably repaste and maybe replace the thermal pads.

Does anyone have any recommendations for computers that are good for editing/rendeeing 4k videos and for 3d modelling/rendering? I have no idea what any of these specs and stuff mean. It'll be a plus if it can also play newer games too

Would Luke please advise and package a deal for that?

  • Some components have gone up in price by so much : (

    • +1

I know. End of 2019 I was thinking I’ll wait for prices to drop or new cards to release. Now it’s gone up and new cards postponed but mainly the pain of …isolation!

  • Hey Rep,

I am still waiting for my order to be dispatached, mind check it for me?

    • I am also waiting for my order to be dispatched. If you can check mine also that would be great.

If they change their Biostar mobo to Asus or something more reputable - I'm sure their sales would sky rocket. Had a Biostar board and was complete shit.

    • I ordered a system that was advertised as a B350, ended up receiving a Gigabyte B450. No complaints here.

  • Any deal for i7 9700F please?

    • +2

      I doubt it.

Ive had mine on back order since 01/03/20.

      Stock arrived on 31/03/30.

Id imagine they would have over 100 systems on back order with the 9700f.

  • Luke a 3900X deal please? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/492935
Would like to salary sacrifice a beast of a PC before year end.
All the bells and whistles included - with 144Hz monitor
Oh and please call it 'workstation' like you did above so work doesnt realise I am only gaming

Please don't purchase any items from techfast if you haven't, roll through the comments. It will take atleast 30 days to arrive. With no exact date and replies.
      Think carefully.

  • When will they be restocking in b450 mortal

  • It won't add to my cart after clicking add to cart

  • I am one customer that bought this deal. Getting in contact with the sales and support team is very difficult. I emailed in regards to an upgrade potential for my components and they responded in terms of sending an invoice for what component I would like to change but never followed up with the log. Hope the team can be more efficient with customer support.
