    These just keep getting cheaper!

  • OP, any deal on Roborock S50?

    • +1

We do not sell roborock s50 at this moment, we have new model roborock s6 pure.

      • +1

crazy with the names, how do we know which is better?

        • +1

Obviously the s50 is diluted. Get the 6

      • +1

Any chance of the original Xiaomi version ever being on sale again or is too old/EOL and I'm holding out for nothing?

        • Also curious

  • Thanks heaps OP! I've been hanging out for this deal to come back again. Just ordered.

  • Got this on the last deal. Surprised by it's ability. Within the first 5 minutes I was pretty disgusted what was left behind by my usual vacuum cleaner!

    Highly recommend for the price.

  • +1

Anyone with the carpet head and a fine haired animal, care to advise of the performance?

  • Thanks OP, having been looking out for a deal on these. Ordered.

  • +1

How does this compare with a Dyson V6?

    • +3

Much better. I would compare this to the v8.
Shorter battery life than v8 and only 1 years buyer warranty vs 2 year from dyson. Probably similar levels of suck

      • +9

So they both suck, but one sucks more.

      • ?
This has better battery life than Dyson V8

        • Not from my experience. The turbo mode on the dreame lasts 5 mins maximum

          • +1

@ShekelHoarder: Agreed. Very good vacuum but as someone who loves the max mode, it does get drained very quickly.

      • I'd personally go with the one that sucks for the longest.

  • thank you. just got one.

  • Thanks OP! Got one.

Should this be paired with a vacuum robot? I've seen comments about this not being as good as wall powered (understandably) so I was wondering if I can supplement with the robot vacuum.

    • +2

I ordered one too with the intention of using it as a spot cleaner type thing.

I have the Xiaomi Gen 1 robo vac which does a pretty good job on a daily basis, and this will be for the sunken living room and if I just need a quick clean in a localised area.

      Hopefully it all works out!

  • Anyone know how this compares to Dreame V10 and is it worth paying maybe 100 bucks more for that? The Dreame V10 seems to have good reviews too.

    • V9 is powerful enough. Save your money :)

    • I don't think it's worth getting the V10 just for the slight performance gain. The flexible hose might be useful but I'll wait for a deal on accessories to just get that if it can be used with the V9.

My V9 does the job well and I'm happy with it. I can do my whole place (4+2 single storey) on a single charge. Definitely get the carpet head if you have carpets.

      • How has your carpet head been with hair? Does it get all caught up and accumulate in the head? I find with my current Dyson V6 I need to clear the hair from the head way too often (otherwise performance degrades quickly) and it's annoying.

  • I would like to buy this, but I keep reading comments that compared to Dyson, the roller edges(the sides that hold the roller) are wider than dyson and do not clean the corners as good as dyson. Can somebody please clarify on this?

  • Is anyone using Carpet head? Do we need one? My home has hard floors, but have 2-3 rugs.

    • Soft head would be prefect for the hard floors.

      • +1

Thanks, Will the soft head work well on rugs as well?

        • Yes, as you have mentioned rugs and not thick carpet.

    • I bought the carpet head. It's definitely worth it if you have carpets. In your case though, you should be able to get away without one as it's only 2 rugs. I find I had to really push harder and up the power/suction when using soft roller on carpets (it also depends on the thickness of the carpet).

  • +1

Perfect timing. My Dyson V6 gave up the ghost after 4 years this week. Couldn't bring myself to spend $600 - $800 on a newer model Dyson.

    • If it's just the battery they apparently happily sell you a replacement battery. Reasonably priced I heard.

      • They actually sent me a replacement battery for free 6 months ago. Excellent customer service. I took the entire vacuum apart and gave it all a good clean and bought a replacement filter. But now cleaning it and new battery isn't fixing the issue.

        • -1

Are you in Brisbane? I'll buy the battery off you.

  • Wow money back guarantee is there

  • Got one! was just going to buy the Dyson V7 from The good guys at 399 but this one seems better. Thanks OP!

  • +1

Good timing, just purchased one to replace my faulty dyson V6, a replacement motorhead was going to cost half the price of this V9 lol. Thanks!

Highly recommend. Bought this last month, seller is great and product works perfectly

  • +10

It's back. Bought one in the last run with carpet attachment. Couldn't find a decent comment about the carpet head so here is mine.

From Day one, only used the carpet head and not the default one. Comes in two boxes and holding wall attachment is designed for the default attachments (left my main head in the box for that reason).

Performance: Performance is better than the kmart corded vacuum (at the time of purchase, I believe it was the most expensive model so hopefully helps with guessing the model number (orange colour)). Detailed breakdown, my entire apartment is almost thick carpet (51 sqm). I can do the whole apartment with losing 1 bar battery and 2nd mode. The carpet "feels" clean once done and more "fluffy." I would say the active brush helps with this.

Hopefully, you are happy with your purchase like I am. 5 stars.

  • OP: Will the V10 be brought over?

    • No much different with V10, slightly stronger suction at max mode.

  • How long will it take for shipping in current scenario? Where is this shipment coming from? Thanks.

    • Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane depend on your address.

      • +1

        How long to Adelaide?

        • +1

          Around 2-5 business day.

  • Thanks OP! Any upcoming deals on vaccum robot?

  • Do you need to mount the charger on a wall?

    • nope, i charge mine the same way i would my phone

  • These vacuums are great. Never had the v9, but bought the v10 last month for around $290 after cashback and very satisfied with the machine.

  • Thanks, we're in the market for a new stick vacuum after losing the charger for our KMart cheapie, plus it was on it's last legs (was not the best from the beginning, you get what you pay for…)

We have the original vacuum robot after seeing raving reviews here and we weren't disappointed. Still going strong! But needed some replacement consumables which I've bought along with the stick vacuum. :)

  • any issues with repairs or warranty? or who to go to if it breaks after 12mths?

  • After seeing the LG Zero add makes me wonder if it's possible for Dyson/Xiaomi/etc to being out more direct scrubbing heads. Even if you shouldn't vacuum liquid it'd be nice something half-sponge/scrub where you could carry a spray bottle of say isoprop alcohol or similar where you could spray and run this scrubbing head over it.

  • I still have a Dyson DC59, which I believe was launched in 2014.

Would this be a big improvement over this?

  • By when can this be delivered to Canberra. we are moving houses soon and was wondering considering the current situation will we be able to receive it on time.
I want to order with the carpet head.

  • Thanks OP. Will the price in the ebay store drop as well?

    • Will not change eBay price at this moment.

  • Just purchased thanks for the post !

  • thanks OP, has mine 6 months and love it. Got one for a present to my family.

  • I only have one room with carpet and no pets. Could I get away with vacuuming the carpet with the regular head?

    • +1

      Easily.

  • +1

Any chance you could do a deal on just the carpet head, OP? It's listed for $80 on your ebay store, but $100 on your site.
Also any chance on a deal for the Xiaomi soap dispenser?

    • It's showing $72.95 on the site for me. Did you use the link?
