  • No Lego, iPad 32GB Tuesday

  • ok the listing for Apple products been updated.
    Airpods from 10am tomorrow,
    powerbeats pro from 10am Tuesday
    iPad 32GB from 10am Tuesday.

  • Wonder who the seller for the iPad will be. If it's iot.hub, could be overseas stock again.

    • +1

I'd be more interested in the price.

      • My guess is 379 given RRP is 529. For Apple AirPods and Pros during the sale, normally $150 off.

        • I have a feeling it might be at least $200 off looking at the Apple Watch deal and given it's the last deal of the month.

  • Which generation is the iPad and how much will it be?

    • It'll be the current gen.

    • +1

      7th gen, 32gb, wifi

  • Airpods sold out in seconds…

  • +2

gone in 10 secs lol. already click buy and paste promo.

  • OMG, not even 5 seconds

  • +1

    That was a joke!

  • +2

    as expected, didn't get it

  • +2

Wouldn't even let me apply the code, or showed the code on the item. In the cart it says 'You already applied this code to an order.'

    • It was the same code from Jun 1. Did you order one then?

  • I was too slow, again.

  • +1

Anyone else got it on the proceed and pay screen? :( Mine couldn't go back to that screen

    • yep, this time once "confirm and pay", can't go back to payment page as before.

  • wew that was qik

  • +3

Anyone else get "You already applied this code to an order." and was unable to add the code?

    • Have you already won a pair?

      • +1

had the same issue and no I haven't bought one before.

        • It's a browser issue. I'm using Chrome it did it to me as well but when I tried in Incognito mode, the code worked.

          • @Sainter4Life: I've been switching to firefox for these eBay deals. eBay has many quirks with Chrome.

      • not this time around….

  • Damn. I got to the payment screen and everything.

Should I just leave that screen open and try and hit confirm and pay at 2pm? Would that work?

    • Yes

    • Yes. Keep on pressing that button right from 1.59..
Dont stop until you see order placed

      • Should you wait for "Confirm and pay" to load or just keep clicking even when greyed out?

        • Just keep clicking no matter what.
Make sure your voucher has already applied and you choose cc as a payment.

      • I think I tried at 1:57. Depends on speed of confirmation load time

  • Airpod deals are like adrenaline rush…in last 99% loose 😄

  • I'm an idiot and forgot to press 'Apply Code' and I bought it full price. Damn, if I cancel it then I can't use the code again either can I?

    • If you didn't use the code, you can still use the code later.

    • If you never applied the code, then you can cancel and repurchase in the next drop.

      • +3

        wasted 1 spot

  • +3

Of the 100 pairs sold, 25 were to new users!

    • How can you tell?

      • +1

Look at purchase history, new users have a yellow icon next to their user ID. Most have (0) feedback.

        • In other terms, people who created new account to buy again? I can't see that info on app.

      • only bought one item before or none at all.

probably bought one item to save the CC details.

    • Botting accounts most likely.

    • Yep, people getting really greedy now

  • +1

    Woo finally gottem!

  • can confirm its way faster on the app. tried on two occassions and was successful on both. load up the page, have the code copied, keep refreshing until in stock, paste code, click done, and confirm and pay (literally tap twice). of course, make sure you have saved cc and address alteady. I did it while I was walking to the bus stop

    • +1

made a mistake to click "Add to Cart" instead of "Buy it Now", cost me half and one second, that probably make it or break it.

    • How come…. Looks too easy.

    • i thought you could only buy airpods once?

  • What was the code for the AirPods?

    • +1

      PMRL84

  • If history tells us anything, the 2nd and third drops are much harder to win if you haven't already got the item in your cart.

    • The first drop is hard enough to get in the cart and then try and checkout :(

    • I got to the checkout screen on app where I got error: seller doesn't have many left. Should I leave this checkout page open in app or will it reset automatically?

      • Leave it open, but it did reset on me before so you need to keep the page up for 4 hours.

      • +1

Indeed, DO NOT CLOSE THAT PAGE!

At exactly 1pm 2pm start hitting that "confirm and pay" like your life depends on it.

Make sure you adjust your pc's power settings so it doesn't sleep or power off automatically.

        • +2

          You mean 2pm?

start hitting that "confirm and pay" like your life depends on it.

This will get my cardio for today.

          • @coolbuddy2k7: Careful smashing the button too quickly or Ebay will think you're a bot and you'll lose the page and get an error.

            • @Smiffy121: Thanks for the tip.

Is it normal that I can still click confirm & pay button? It's not greyed out just give me seller doesn't have enough error and stays on the same page.

              • @coolbuddy2k7: You should be able to keep clicking, too quickly you'll get an error and lose the page. The AirPod pro drop last week was late by 20-30s, so keep tapping away.

                • @Smiffy121: Indeed, you need to wait second it takes for the data to be sent to the server and for the server to send a response.

          • @coolbuddy2k7:

            You mean 2pm?

Yes, 1 pm would be a little premature!

      • The app usually times out for most people, so I wouldn’t have high hopes.

        • I'm assuming he's using a desktop browser.

    • +1

Yup, you'll have a bunch of people who have it already in their cart, smashing that Confirm and pay button.

      • It's more than a bunch, It's at least 100+ ….. those with it in the cart have some chance. For everyone else, it's near on zero.

  • +1

Wow the number of people flipping the Airpods on Gumtree is shocking !

    • +6

Sucks for the people who actually want to buy one to use.

  • Got the airpods, thanks OP.

  • +9

I managed to get the Airpod Pro's and just got the Airpods for my wife. This is my method, it may help someone.

    1. Copy the code to your clipboard.
    2. Open up this page (not the actual listing) https://imgur.com/a/20YKEJQ . You get there by clicking on the number sold.
    3. Open this page up in a new window, not a new tab, a new window https://time.is/
    4. Now get the 2 pages side by side so you can see the time page, but you are actively focused on eBay.
    5. DO NOT SPAM CLICK before 12pm (or whatever time it is). Don't be tempted to click at 11:59.50 or even 11:59.59.
    6. As the clock hits 12pm then click on the 'Buy It Now', paste in the code, apply, Complete Payment.

    Other points,
Do not use PayPal, make sure you have your credit card saved and selected as your default payment method.
If you are unlucky, You've hopefully got it in your basket and you can proceed to spam Complete 10 seconds before the next drop until your finger falls off.

Goodluck, the above has worked for me on the watch, the Airpod Pro's and now, the Airpods.

    • +1

Seems a bit of a time waste if you accidentally click it before hand or if the drop is late.

      • Not so, you can click back quickly enough if you get an error, it is no slower than clicking F5 and waiting for the button to appear.

As I said, it worked so far for me, may help someone, it may not.

    • “You've hopefully got it in your basket and you can proceed to spam Complete 10 seconds before the next drop until your finger falls off.“

Do I keep clicking or click once and wait for the refresh?

      • Yes, you'll need to wait for about a second.

    • Not a bad method. Just a point; why a new window and not tab for the clock?
      Whats the reasoning there?

      • +2

So you can see both at the same time and don't have to flick back before the hour. All about shaving those milliseconds you know ;-)

    • This works if the product drops at exactly the advertised time dead on, which often does not. If you don’t get it on your first go, I found it much too slow going back from an error screen.

Spamming helped me get the AirPods 2, Pro and Watch at the 10am drop. Going through sold, at best, got me to cart stage. But that’s just me, I guess I didn’t get lucky with the timing.

      • I and my partner kept spamming the confirm and pay button on two systems from two accounts but that threw us an error and we were out of that page. We both had it in cart since 10 am and kept clicking on the link once an hour to keep it active.

Any idea what did we do wrong there?

        • Not sure, whenever I tried from cart page I just keep hitting confirm and pay and it eventually worked.. it’s weird you both get errors.

  • Dripping feeding 100 per hour is perfect for double dipping new accounts

Edit: i was following the wrong thread. how many different ebay plus posts are they? its confusing

    • Three pages. But this is the one that covers the two remaining days.

Dripping feeding 100 per hour is perfect for double dipping new accounts

As mentioned above, it's near on impossible to be successful if you haven't already got the item in your cart (browser not app) from the first drop.

  • Hold up - weren't the airpods all scheduled for 5pm today???

    • no they changed it last night

  • I only see 83 airpods sold today from seller history, people just canceled it? (maybe purchased it without coupon code?)

  • How do I change my payment method to credit card?

    • +1

on the checkout page you can change to different payment method.
But for this Airpods deal, if you do it during the deal, you will miss the deal.
You can try to do it before hand, like try to buy something with CC so the info can be saved for next purchase.
