From what I have read on facebook not everyone has received that email yet and the date range varies quite a bit depending on the state.

Where do you see it is being set 4 days after? They send it on 12th, and it probably arrives after the weekend.
Did anyone who got an email today have priority shipping? Or just expedited?
I have priority shipping and I got an email at 6:54 PM Brisbane time saying that I'd get my PS5 between the 12th and 16th, then I got another email 2 minutes later saying that plans have changed and I'm getting mine between the 17th and 18th, which is really annoying.
I emailed Amazon has I hadn't received a confirmation email.
They responded my stock is secured, my order should start shipping before release day although due to delays it might be late.
In My orders no estimated delivery date is there & no money has been taken out of the account which has left me a little confused.
Yeah, I have the same state, and Amazon gave me the exact same answer.
I gave them a call, they said some people will be receiving emails today regarding the delivery date.
Essentially if you don't receive one of those emails won't be receiving one in the first batch of orders.
Customer service didn't have any info on when a second batch might be coming in which is a bit disappointing as might have been able to secure an order elsewhere.
@spook290: I thought everyone who received the email their console is secured would receive the console in the first batch. I won't be very pleased if I don't receive it the next week.

I preordered watchdogs and Fifa 21 with amazon and they both arrived early on release day via a amazon courier. I think it'll be the same tomorrow. Intact most my orders have been a amazon dude for a few months now. I live near chadstone if that helps

Do you recall which shipping option you chose? I paid extra for Priority and also very unhappy it's being sent via Australia Post. I thought it would have been delivered by Amazon.
It just says sent by Amazon commercial services Australia Pty Ltd. So I assume Sydney or Melbourne. Im near chadstone and I normally get auspost day after shipping with Amazon. So hoping for the best. What's odd is they didn't take my cash till like 4am this morning

mine arrived 5 mins ago, i got lucky it was sent from the Dandenong warehouse so it was able to be delivered today as i live not far from there, although the box was way too big for the PS5 and i didn't think the package was for me at first,

Just got off chat with an amazon rep. They've pretty much confirmed that delivery will be delayed and I won't get it on release day =(

That's weird. I was told that they have stock in their warehouse and I should receive it on the 12th, unless carrier delivers it late.

Amazon sent an email out recently that states the estimated shipment time of PS5 orders to be between 12 - 16 November.

I just updated shipping speed to express which wasn’t an option for me before. Delivery date now says tomorrow by 8PM.

Amazon AU has completely botched the ps5 preorders. Unlike the US they didn't bother telling people that they hadn't secured enough stock to meet all of the preorders they took. Instead they sent out an email to customers saying that their order had been secured.
So went ahead and cancelled my preorders with other retailers seeing as Amazon were offering a $30 credit for prime members. Now find that they haven't even received my console from their supplier and no info on when I'll be receiving my preordered item. Every time I call I seem to get a different answer from them but they're consistent on one thing, they can't tell me when I will get it. To add insult to injury they say that I'm one of the lucky ones that will get one….. some day.
They just did another round of pre orders with people getting them Nov 17-20

Have had funds deducted from Zip but nothing further. I also paid an extra $7 for priority delivery so we’ll see if that was wasted money or not.
I also preordered Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Demon’s Souls. Both of those still show as arriving tomorrow on the website, but I’m yet to be charged for them. Tempted to cancel and just buy them from JB, it only comes to an extra $10 and Amazon have been sloppy with preordered games arriving on day of release in the past..
Don’t think I’ll be preordering with Amazon again given these expected delays. Would rather go and pick up myself from a store.
