Hey guys, I said I would get you this deal with more units and the great folks at Dell have organised the amazing S2721D deal again, this time with 450 units.

      Yes, the RRP has a difference of only $50, but the ebay listed price and then coupon mean that there's a $70 difference.

    Does OP work for Dell to get the inside information?

    I managed to get this deal, but also made a purchase of the DS model a few days ago. This is the one I wanted as I'll be using VESA so saving the $70 difference on a stand I won't use. At 3 monitors bought, that's a difference of $210 so definitely worth the hassle of an email to 'cancel' the DS orders (or return if I have to).

      I do not, I hope to, but I am working alongside reps to get the people what they want. There is a market gap in quality 27" 2k monitors at affordable prices. Dell is listening.

    Sorry a noob question….

    I bought this monitor and the S2721DGF (144Ghz) from the previous deal. I plan to have both monitors side by side with extended desktop for my work-from-home setup. My work laptop is a DELL but I have a thinkpad hybrid usb-c docking station at home which works okay with the DELL. Any suggestions or thoughts on if this setup would work? Can I have both monitors on different refresh rate?

    PS: I am mindful that S2721DGF is a gaming monitor but I don't plan on playing any games on it :d

      I did the same, they will be fine. This one for browsing and the dgf for gaming. You wont notice the difference in refresh, except that your gaming on the dgf will be smoother.

          I was worried about that, I have yet to receive mine, so can't tell you. The DGF and this monitor both have the slim side bezels and flat bottom bezel so they should suit very well side by side.

              @sushimaster: Care to elaborate? Dell offer a very good panel exchange for defects, if something is wrong, contact Dell and they'll sort you out. A lot of the dgf have quality panels and no qc issues.

                @LiMaaa: long story short, their communication between department is terrible. that's what i thought before. I spend over 1 month with them trying to sort out their mistake. And now i still have the defective penal. IF you want to know more pm me . I have been buying dell product since forever but this was the first time that i had to deal with their customer support

      Your ThinkPad DisplayPort/HDMI refresh rate is limited to 60 Hz. Most docking stations with dual display ports support 60Hz anyway

      To use 144Hz, you will have to plug your HDMI directly to the laptop.
