Mod: Summary: Deal posted. Site gave out discount codes. Some were able to order phones but Allphones website was very buggy. Allphones website overwhelmed. Allphones pulled promotion. The discount voucher can only be redeemed online at the Allphones web site

You must enter the discount voucher promotional code number prior to checkout

The voucher entitles the user to a $200 discount off any handset when purchasing a handset over $300 Recommended Retail Price (excludes delivery costs).

The coupon expires 29 Feb 2012 (The expriry is for usage. Not sure how long the allamazingdeals website will be handing out these coupon codes).

    actually if you looked closer, you'll see the promo code is in order, so just type in your code - 500ish, and you are good to go immediately

      It's not uncommon for group buy/daily deal websites to be newly registered considering they are HEAPS that have been newly registered lately

      As long as AllPhones accepted the code and sold you the handset at discounted price, why bother checking if allamazingdeals is legit or not? Maybe you have your reason doing so, but I just didn't get it.

        Meh. It's not worth the hassle to be honest, since I already have a SG2. And I have the feeling the deal will be taken down very shortly, maybe even refunded to some.

        Edit: From SquishySquid08 on Page 3, "just tried calling Allphone's customer support, they said the "deal" has ended until further notice"

        And I tried it about 1 hour ago and it still didn't work, so if it worked for anyone in the past hour I'm guessing refunds.

    Hey guys just tried mine and went well.. I initially copied and pasted the code.. but when it went to the check out no discount was applied.. I went and then typed it in manually as one of the guys here mentioned and presto it worked.. $390.95.
    Plugged in my card details and it went through with express post.. hope to get it tomorrow!.

      Close all browsers, try again with IE and type in your code. You don't see a separate item (e.g. -$200) only phone price changes (look at how much it charges for the phone).

      Because I kept refreshing to see a separate line item for -$200 then I realised they don't show you that.

    Took nearly an hour for the coupon code to work.. but, a new SG2 ordered - though not sure I actually need it… damn you ozbargains!

    But for people where coupon doesn't work, think you just need to be patient. I didn't have to swap browsers or clear cache or anything. Just had to wait over 45 mins…

        Note sure yet, but had to pay nearly $16 for express shipping, and got this in order:

        "Your order will be sent via Toll Express and we will contact you with your consignment note number, so
        you'll be able to track your oder."

        So, if Toll Express, hopefully pretty fast. I think more of an issue of how long it takes AllPhones to process all these orders.
