Mod: Summary: Deal posted. Site gave out discount codes. Some were able to order phones but Allphones website was very buggy. Allphones website overwhelmed. Allphones pulled promotion. Allamazingdeals.com pulled promotion. (Have removed link as it's redirecting somewhere else.) If you have a code, you should be able to email your order to allphones at [email protected]

The discount voucher can only be redeemed online at the Allphones web site

You must enter the discount voucher promotional code number prior to checkout

The voucher entitles the user to a $200 discount off any handset when purchasing a handset over $300 Recommended Retail Price (excludes delivery costs).

The coupon expires 29 Feb 2012 (The expriry is for usage. Not sure how long the allamazingdeals website will be handing out these coupon codes).

The following phones (unlocked) are now available on the AllPhones website for which the coupon can be used (the prices are before applying discount):

  CC info is only submitted to CBA who fulfilled the payment procedure. I don't think AllPhones have all your CC info.

Close on an hour for me and it's still not working in either Firefox of Safari (not tried Chrome). Will keep trying but that's very slow :(

  We should complain to ACCC if they don't honor the order (online or email later) because they clearly said that expires 29Feb2012.
  
  Like Harvey Norman, ACCC fined them 1Million because of they promoted 3DTV in an area without 3DTV.

I grabbed a code but didn't have time to use it.
I REALLY hope:
- no other prick has used my code
- Allphones stay true to the offer and honor this via email.

They can still make this a great promotion success via email once they fix up the issues with the original implementation.

Would be utterly spewing to miss out once offered.

I'm going to lodge an ACCC complaint for false advertising on both amazingdeals and allphones for false promotion and lack of supply for the targeted demographic (internet, therefore australia wide). I urge you to join me, to waste their time from because of all the collective time we wasted.

  I think people need to be more reasonable here. Just because you did not manage to get the deal (I didn't either), it does not mean they are doing the wrong thing.
  
  The deal wasn't posted by a rep and the response is overwhelming. Plus, you have people getting multiple codes (trying to take advantage of the situation).

sounds like publicity stunt to me, I'm going to neg this because pushing us consumers around like we are sheep is unacceptable. And we shouldn't let things like this happen just because they can. there are laws to punish companies to have false advertising.

      however if you go through with the transaction, and your payment has been processed and gone through, it has been done, they can't pull it back. unless they have a middle man to verify the order, however they don't they already have our money.

    I seriously doubt Allphones meant for this deal to be distributed to as many people as it has been. It looks like there may have been a misunderstand between allamazingdeals and allphones, in which case they had every right to pull it.
    
    I ordered a SGS2 and I hope I get it, but I will understand if I don't as people make mistakes and in the end they are running a business to make money.
    
    I've also missed plenty of deals in the past and have felt the same annoyance at missing it, but that doesn't mean they have intentionally done something fundamentally wrong.
