Never Liked Acer Stuff. So many problems with laptops :)

    • Same here. Avoiding them if you can.

My Acer Predator X34p is awesome, never had an issue, dead pixel or otherwise

      • Yeah. Higher end equipment is generally at a higher quality. But you may not be so fortunate with a lower end gear.

    • I got a pair of 24" second hand Acer monitors 7 years ago, still using them on various machines today. I got another couple of new ones from work a couple of years later, also zero problems. :)

  • Not 1440p?

yet it says FHD which is 1080p

        Pity. Good price.

        • There are still plenty of good QHD Options at smaller sizes (24 , 27) , 120hz + - starting at 350 , im sure there are cheaper! :P

Not a good price.for FHD, probs won't pay more than $200 for this. Make it QHD and you can have my money.

Based on what products have ya seen out there with atleast 120hz monitors at that size with a curve?
      Dead curious.

I know everyone likes to rag on 1080p above 24", but if you've got poor eyesight like me its perfectly fine :P

Most of 35+yo would be ok with it since most of us have very bad eyes sight for staring excessively at CRTs monitor for the past 20 years or so.

    • Agree. I bought the el-cheapo Philips 30" from OW a few years ago now. People complained they could see the pixels— good for them & their amazing eyesight- lol.

As far as Acer goes, having sold tech in retail for years, I can honestly say we didn't have more Acer returns than others to the point it was noticeable. I've always found them a good value for money, personally. Love my Aspire 5/i3 @ $488! ( https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/501888 ). Amazingly snappy! 5 secs to desktop w/WU off & debloated. Added a 256GB SSD in the 2nd bay. Happy as. ;)

might be a good monitor for triple screens on a sim

    • Exactly the purpose I use triple 32's (1080ps) for..

  • +1

People complain about 1080p being sub par on a 27 inch but damn this is 32 inches hard pass

    • -1

Yeah 1080p looks pretty horrible on 27" can only imagine the jaggies @ 32"

      • I disagree I'm running a dell 27" curved screen at FHD res no jaggies

run @144hz only problem for me is old age/diminishing eyesight means I need to run @175% to see text as at 100 % its so small its impossible to read.

But at normal 100 % images movies, Netflix is crisp and I cannot distinguish same movie from my 43" 4k capable Sony TV ( realising that the Sony will ramp up FHD to suit)

        • I mean if you have poor eyesight, then yeah this stuff doesn't matter, that isn't going to convince the average person with good eyesight that they are wrong. 1080p @ 27" or higher definitely looks rough

          • @stephendt: Maybe I need to clarify, poor eyesight doesn't mean bad vision I actually have almost 20/20 vision its just text only on a small monitor is so small its unreadable till magnified, the text is perfect crisp etc just way to small like the ingredients list on some canned foods its printed perfect just 3 point text doesnt work without a magnifying glass

    • Yep! Take it from someone who is not fussy and doesn't mind 27" @ 1080p but has been forced to use a 32" monitor @ 1080p by his employer, it is quite bad.

  • 1080 is dead, just pay an extra 100 to get 1440p,

  • Nice TV.
