                  @AussieDaddy: Copy to PC as backup is OK but use smart switch to do the actual switch over from phone to phone for photos. I don't understand why Android use created date with gallery.

                  I did it and mess my gallery and I have to do it again with smart switch and took me another hour.

      exactly what happened to me.. i ended up clearing cache, clearing date, force stop then unintalling it. After that i reset the phone and re-installed the app and finally credit card details went through

      While putting the year in the CC details make sure you enter the 4-digit year and not just two digits. For example, if your CC expires on September the 20th of this year, on most other platforms you enter it as 20/09/21, but on Samsung website you enter it as 20/09/2021. If you did that and it still doesn't work then it's something else.

    Just going through some of the comments, it seems just need to use $50 and $200 code, and the bonus trade in using an eligible Samsung phone. Seems like S21 is OOS. I assume stock will get replenished, hopefully throughout the week?

      The accessories are sold RRP or normal prices on the Samsung store. It may be better to buy the accessories from resellers to save money.

      the 25 watt fast charger is $49 on Samsung but Harvey Norman and The Good Guys sells it for $29.

          I'm just using Kmart 18 watt fast charger with PD and quick charge works fine with all of my Galaxy flagship phones, S7, S10e, Note 9 et cetera

          USB-PD is an open standard is supported on a lot of modern android phones and tabs now so there's no vendor lock in (i.e you don't need a Samsung charger to fast-charge a Samsung phone). Your phone will do a handshake with the charger and negotiate a suitable charging speed that either the phone or charger will support.

          When shopping for a charger look for one that supports PD (Power delivery) version 2.0 or better if you want the fastest charging speed.

          Do remember that you need to use a good quality USB-C cable that supports PD and not all cables are built the same. Some support 18w only and some go up to 100 watts.

    Got all the discount codes ($200 via chat, $ 50 via marketing email and $ 195 for trading in my Note 9) but S21 Ultra Black's availability is limited to 128GB (256 and 512 are gone), so I went with the Titanium instead (512GB) but it says it'll take 4-5 weeks to get it shipped :(

    So far, sitting on "Order Status : Waiting for Approval", whatever the hell that means, because I already got charged the full amount on my bank account.

    Anyone picked one of the "custom colors" and if so, have you had your order approved and shipped sooner than the 4 or 5 weeks?

      Both issues have been discussed a number of times. Lots of people have had the "waiting for approval" status and it general gets approved the next day. Don't stress.

      The shipping time for the custom colours is pretty accurate.

    My Note 8 works perfectly but has a spiderweb crack on the back glass. Mentioning this on the trade-in app tells me that I'm not eligible (because it is an old phone I guess, some of the newer phones just get a reduced value).

    So…what happens if I try it anyway and they deem the trade-in phone as damaged?

    1) Do they inform you and you have the option of getting it back? (perhaps repair it and send it back)
    2) Do they just deduct it from the trade in amount? I don't care if they don't give me any of the trade-in amount, as long as they don't deduct the $500.

    I'm just wondering if I should get the back glass fixed before I send it back to safeguard myself, or not to.

      I have the same issue, it says by the end of the trade up process that if your phone condition differs from what you mentioned via trade-up app then they will charge the phone cost from your nominated CC. So for instance if you have S8+ and its trade-up price is $85 then it they will deduct only $85.

      This is what I got by the end when it asks for the CC details. I don't think they will charge you entire cost i,e $500 or any other voucher you've used since they have your phone.

      Just try to go to the last stage where it will ask you your CC details and you'll see.
