    • Don't Think si

      • +3

Bought $2000 after asking this question lol

        • $2000 TCN cards?

          Isnt limit $1000?

    • +4

No limit in store. I used 15 the other week, they said a guy came in with 50 once. Online is limited.

      • Thanks for confirming

      • +5

to save the staff scanning 50 of them, i've used 5x$100 'him' cards to buy a $500 JB Hi-Fi card - this would work around any online limit

        • Can you tell me how to redeem online

    • +3

      I used 34 once at $2400 worth

      • +2

Is this a math riddle? to figure out how many of each $100, $50 and $20 gc to be used?

        • +3

Easy. 24 x $100 vouchers plus 10 x $0 that I had used already and forgot to check the balance first.

        • +1

          $20 x 10
          $50 x 4
          $100 x 20

          = $2400

        • Only 50s and 100s were used..

    • If using them online, see if you can beat 17 gift cards!

      • +1

I used 37 buying a TV mid this week.

        • Online or instore?

I can only imagine the cashiers face at having to process all of those manually!

          • +2

@Master Bates: in store.. the cashier was really cheerful about it and impressed as I bought the GCs at Woolies for bonus points.. so was $320 worth of groceries essentially included with my purchase. Had three of us scratching the back of the cards so it was quicker.

            • @gizmomelb: Gold, at least they were good about it.

            • +2

@gizmomelb: I would have scratched them prior to going to inconvenience them a little less. But good job with 37.

              • @cute as duck: @cute as ducks - yeah I'll do that next time. This was my first gift card purchase and I literally went from Woolies to TGG with a bunch of gift cards in a bag. :) Oh but I had called the store before buying the gift cards, asking if total payment with gift cards was ok and they told me it was.

Includes digital cards this time too which is great. Looks to be a max of $1000 per order.

    • Does that mean we can do multiple orders? I'm about to get some whitegoods, so this is perfect timing, and I'd prefer to limit the number of physical cards I need to handle.

Edit: I'm actually getting an error saying I can only order up to $100 digital. I'll have a play around with browsers and settings to see if it's a local issue or not.

  • +1

questions. How do I use the digital card at physical store? And how long do they issue the card?
Plan to but the apple watch tonight in JB
    Thanks in advance!

    • +1

Download TCN App, load the digital cards, app has an option to add cards to digital wallet on the phone.
Add the digital card to your Google or Samsung Pay and use it just like any other credit card.

There is an option to see physical card number, expiry and cvc, in case you want to manually enter the number in to the eftpos machine.

This is what ive done on my Samsung phone. Apple pay might be slightly different.

      • +1

        Thanks!
The app seems not working in IOS.
I can’t get the verification code via SMS. Tried more than dozen times…

  • So 9% after processing fee

    • +12

One hand giveth and the other hand taketh away.

  • eBay $250/$500 sold out

    • all amount sold out

    • All appears to be sold for digital online card

      • -2

So happy about this because I bought something from eBay yesterday and was about to kick myself for missing out on this.

    • They will come back in some time right? I mean in a week or maybe a month?
So better but online card now and wait for ebay to be available? Thoughts?

  • Too slow damm

  • Wow. Twas quick

  • +1

    Why the 1% processing fee.

    • To pay mastercard/visa for processing the transaction. That and probably merchant fees too.

  • Was able to buy Phyisical Online GC's

    $909 for 10x$100

    • +1

better to choose digital next time as you can get $500 max :), instead of going through a bunch of smaller amounts

      • It was sold out when I did it thus I resorted to physical cards.

Doesnt matter anyways when you redeem it it's $100 max for eBay GC's anyways.

Also processing fee is the same regardless.

  • I wouldn't mind H&M, esp when there's 20% sales but my mates wife orders for me as staff get an extra 20%> I don't think you could pay with GC on-top 😂

eBay may be useful for 9%< but I haven't bought anything from eBay for ages. Only with that recent cashback deal!

I'm still waiting for JB for a PS5 to use my 19% off GC from last Dec with Zip.

Restaurant card could come in handy!

Error at checkout?? Do I need to make a LayBuy account?

  • +6

Home digital is the best as you can use both instore and online with JB and TGG

    • The Him Card as well

      • Him card doesn’t have TGG :)

  • +1

If you use the code it's actually 9.1% off
Code takes into account the processing fee lol

  • Always out of stock on online digital gift cards.

  • Weird. I got some baby gift card and was charged a processing fee, while my online gift card there was no processing fee charged

  • Cant purchase any ebay gift card

  • How long do the physical cards take to deliver? I wanna buy the macbook Air M1 but afraid it won't get delivered in time…

    • Why can’t you buy digital?

      • Theres a limit on the money you can spend for Digital i think.

Home card saying it maxes out at $550

        • +2

The limit is per email address, so you can just buy it again with another email address (or modified gmail one).

          • @Devil: should arrive by Saturday if you're living in Melbourne

  • Limit of one per customer is based on your email address… so if you have multiple email aliases or use an extra fullstop in your Gmail…

  • Should I stock up more for next new iPhone?
Already have 1300 from last deal.

  • FYI when you convert into JB Hi-Fi digital gift cards, the maximum denomination is $200

    • yep, with $500 max you can then convert into x2 $200 and x1 $100. best to wait until a right deal from either JB or TGG then convert :)

      • Can you convert it in the store? If I buy it digitally do I just show them the receipt

        • +2

no, u can convert via TCN app when or before u instore :), then use it on your mobile wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay etc

  • +14

I found if I press the check out button really quickly before the processing fee loads, I can check out without the processing fee. Give it a try :)
If the fee loaded already, remove card from cart and try again.

    • Damn! That actually works.. shame I already bought 3 cards with the fee. 4th one was free though, thanks!

    • Tried a few times but can't get it working unfortunately. The spinning wheel comes up before the checkout box is clickable. :(

    • thanks! I tried in another slower browser like Chrome, then it works! Thanks!

    • If your internet is fast, open dev tools and turn on network throttling - I used Slow 3G in Chrome and worked every time

  • Can you stack digital gift cards in store at JB HI FI? Sorry never done this b4

    • +1

yes you can :), just ask store staff to do split payments :)

      • Alright thank you! It seems troublesome from my view, but everyone else is doing it so must be worth it!

        • It's quite easy. Print out all your barcodes. Go purchase your item and they just scan each barcode one after the other.

      • so as in if I purchased 4*$500 digital card. I bring it them they will split the payments for me?

        • +1

Yes, I did it a few times in the past without issue.

  • How long does it take for you to receive the digital card? My first order was instant but my second order is still waiting

    • instant

    • +2

Money taken from CC 10 min ago. But still no TCN card received.

      • +1

I bought two digital cards. First came instantly. Still waiting for the second one. That’s 10mins ago.

BTW, I don’t know how to load the digital card to my wallet. It seems their app stop working.

        • Did you get the card yet?

          • +1

@ThemDealsThough: I did after emailing their support.

            • @FatTofu: How many did you buy? I got one to work instantly. But need 6 total (3K. ) the 2nd one hasnt come through. I dont wana buy 4 more if they're gonna be a pain.

          • @ThemDealsThough: I called their support. The reply is it’s not in their database yet. Please wait for another hour…

  • I have heaps of in store only card but at 15% off, I guess I will just leave this deal for others. Can use online is a good positive.

  • How do I get the digital card? Is there an option I need to tick during the checkout process or does it instantly send out a physical + digital card?

    • +2

you can select physical or digital at the beginning

  • Don’t buy anything from card network. Just a few months back , there was a 20 percent off gift card sales at Coles . Initially you can used It , the next week all restaurant cards stopped working .
I purchased 2000 dollars . Damnit . I ended up message card network to get the refund ! Which is not easy at all !!! You can only msg them using Facebook messenger !
Plus they can change where you can use it on the fly!
If you just one gift card I think is fine ! If you decided to use multiple cards in one transactions better asking the retail store where you want to make the purchase beforehand .

    • It's the worst gift card store around.

    • That’s concerning anyone else had any experience with these guys? I stopped at $500 after reading this.

  • +3

Tried restaurant card. Says limit is $550. So had to only purchase a $500 card. Order not processed even after 5 min now.

    Edit: 20 min gone

    • Any luck? I'm getting the same message, max $550? Wondering if I can put through 4 separate orders, just don't want to risk it going bad.

      • +1

I emailed their support and finally get the digital card in an hour.

  • +1

How do they sell out of digital gift cards? Run out of digit combinations? Haha

    • Many people bought them, maybe can increase in value better than digecoin

    • They don't buy digital cards on demand. They buy a large quantity and then sell them.

  • Can digital cards be used in store JB and GG? any limit on how many can be used in store? TIA

  • +1

How’s this for a processing fee?
