Amazing console. I got one since day one.
Yep been very happy with mine. Quick resume is probably the standout feature for me. So fast to get back into a game, even when using full shutdown/"eco" mode.
I have a PS5 as well but I use it only for exclusives.
This series X is a powerhouse, it does 1440p 120hz, quick resume, huge backlog games with 60hz/120hz patch, silent, gamepass, etc.
The Xbox Series X is so quiet. That is something people don't talk enough about. There is next to no noise at all, even when playing AAA games
I wish ps5 had that, even streaming apps reset if you play a game.

What games do you recommend? I bought Gamepass Ultimate for the maximum time using the loophole (was it 3 years?) mostly for my son when he got his Series X.
He's/we've enjoyed Grounded, No Man's Sky, Doom Eternal and Injustice 2 so far, so already good value. All except Doom we've been able to play multiplayer with me on PC, him on Xbox as well.
Sorry mate totally forgot to reply haha… At the moment I'm going through the Halo games one at a time before the next ones released… I haven't played them since the xbox and xbox360 days… So enjoying that again, playing some eternal but being a fps retard makes some parts seriously frustrating hahaha… My sons basically addicted to battlefront II so I'm finding it hard to get him to play anything else haha his pretty decent at it and loves star wars so I've let it go for now… But I do mention there's a lot more than just that game…. Also loving squadrons if you haven't played it… I paid for that game on pc but it's free on xbox haven't tried cross play or if it's possible…. It takes me back to the xwing and tie fighter days.. Quite well done

I'm currently churning a CC and this is what I thought I'd do too, buy one for the spend, and sell it for the same price via marketplace. Chickened out as I didn't like the prospect of being out of pocket if it doesn't sell lol

I finally managed to snag one from JB hi-fi last week. They'd just finished filling all their pre-orders that morning and had four in stock in the store I went to. While they are still pretty hot property it looks like stock is starting to stabilise.
The one day I don't check target and ozbargain. God dammit!

On a side note consoles are the one thing you don’t want to be exclusive so people miss out- the more people playing multiplayer the better.
