  • +1

Thanks OP. Got the Logitech G915 I've been waiting for a deal. Essentially $225 with this.

  • Can you sign on as a user to get this promo?

  • Any 49-55" TV worth to nab? Also we can't arrange delay shipment, can we? Thanks

    • +2

As long as it's not kogan branded.

      • Haha some TV got pretty good ratings. Any personal experience?

        • The pq is subpar unfortunately. I recommend tcl for budget tvs.

          • @TEER3X: Yeah was thinking hisense or tcl. Also they got 3 years warranty which is great. However i only need it in mid September tho so probably just wait. Thanks

  • +2

Also do they count if you're buying giftcards?

  • Big No .
Played around even adding products with it but as soon as gift card in cart no option of this payment .
    Works with Kogan mobile .

  • Did this offer get ozbargained?

    I keep getting the error:

Sorry, we can't complete this purchase

  • `^ I'm only up to 3 completed just below $400 each and they stop me with limits .
Something about paying early to increase limits again .
Edit : Its Ok firing with another name :)

    • what are you buying?

      • +1

Apple , Switch and of course LEGO :)
Especially the first 2 is kicking a$$ on all previous deals on OZB .
Pricebeat need to list 100 + deals .

  • Anybody got any deal suggestions for electronics?

All the external hard drives have jacked up prices.

  • Any good mobile deals?

    • +1

This deal works best when a basket of goods is $400 or less, so there wouldn't be too much value outside of late cycle Xiaomi phones, you'd suspect.

  • +2

Apple TV 4K 2nd Gen (32GB) for $186. Thanks OP

    • No worries :)

  • Where are the PayPal deals? They need to do the same promo

  • +1

LOL they placed a cap on it this time because of the PCCG incident. They had to end the promo several days early because too many people took advantage.

    • Yea, that was an amazing deal. You can't offer a good deal and then renege on it because too many people took you up on the offer lol.

      • It's definitely in the terms and conditions that they can and will, unfortunately.

        • Yes, I know, legally they can do it, as their offer is just an "invitation to treat", they can withdraw it at anytime.

  • Anyone know if you can use this deal then manually pay the next 2 payments immediately?

    • +1

I was able to pay my first three instalments when used klarna for adore beauty. They haven’t covered the 4th instalment yet as it isn’t due till end of this month.

      • They covered it almost immediately after the 3rd instalment payment. I guess it could depend on the merchant, but my purchase from PC case gear became fully paid shortly after my 3rd instalment payment.

        • Did you pay before the instalments were due?

          • @Meenas: Nope, I allowed it to automatically charge my card, I did not manually pay it.

            • @techlead: Aah that’s why. I paid mine immediately after purchase. So I assume last will be covered after the third one would be due.

      • Did you read t&c's carefully ?

    • Why do you want to do that? Just let it charge your card as it comes due.

      • +1

I'm not the guy you replied to, but I'd do this too, just feel weird about owing money and would prefer to pay it all upfront.

        • Can you elaborate? Is it a financial reason or just a personal preference?

I have no issues owing money as long as it is beneficial to me, eg, no costs involved, or if there is a cost, it can be offsetted for a profit, eg borrow at X% and get a return of (X+Y)% where Y is positive.

          • +2

@techlead: 0 financial reason, all preference. I like zeroing my debts off fortnightly coinciding with my pay cycle, and having something left over from the previous fortnight, while not terrible, is vaguely annoying.

          • +1

@techlead: Just a personal preference. I'm happy to owe money when it's totally necessary, but for something like this it's on my mind until it comes out, so I'd rather just pay it so I'm not thinking about it.

          • @techlead: It's easy to over purchase beyond your means when you get access to lots of credits. Not a issue if you budget or have plenty of disposable income.

            • +2

@Wootwootwoot: I have plenty of disposable income, but I have self control. I only buy what I really need.

              • @techlead: Exactly. Not everyone is like you, hence people are sometimes uncomfortable owing too much

  • +1

Are multiple purchases allowed? More than $400 each and get $100 waived for each?

    • Yes .. do multiple buys of 400 or under

  • +1

Is the $100 limit per purchase or overall? ie. can I make multiple purchases each saving up to $100

    • I'm interested on the answer to this one.

    • Yes you can buy multiple 400 and receive 100 discount each

      • +2

has anyone tried multiple 400 purchases? I tried it on the second one and it doesn't allow me to use klarna

  • So when klarna shows the 4 payments, does the 4th display as the full payment or is it supposed to show the discounted payment. Asking cause I'm doing a switch oled and it's displaying 4 payments of 134.75. Thanks.

    • +1

Correct last payment will be $100 less if you keep to the t&c's .

You should have a email : Hi XXXXXX,

Thanks for choosing to shop smoooth with Klarna. This email is to confirm that we're covering your final repayment on your recent purchase at Kogan.com.

All you need to do is make your first 3 fortnightly repayments.

Don't worry, you'll receive reminders from us when your repayments are due.

These reminders will include details on the fourth repayment date until the third repayment is made, as will your purchase summary in the Klarna app.

Note that was a purchase just below $400 .

      • +2

Just wondering did you get this email during this promo? I placed a order, but didn't get this email.

  • Do you have to sign up for Klarna separately on their website first before trying to buy something from Kogan?

    • +2

You can sign up during the payment process from Kogan . Have Id like DL handy ,.

  • +1

Bought a cuckoo rice cooker.. my tiger is on its last legs. Hard to get a discount on cuckoo's. Would have preferred a zoji but they're not sold in au :(

  • Does the $100 OFF apply even if you buy from Kogan app?
There is a coupon "applove" which potentially saves $5 for 1st purchase (price needs to be over $100)

    • Just need to select klarna option.. not sure if available on app

      • Yes, Kogan app does have the Klarna payment option. But Klarna terms and conditions mention that one have buy from kogan.com online, so wondering if purchase from kogan app is eligible for the offer.

  • Bought a sim only plan and saved $47.50, not bad.

  • Thanks bought a Logitech Brio 4k webcam for $223, not too bad price and I need it for work zoom meetings etc…

  • +2

Son of a motherless goat… Just spent $395 with Kogan last night!!! 🤦‍♂️

    • Buy another of the same thing

    • Just order the stuff again and cancel the previous order.

  • +1

“ We're sorry, but Klarna is not available for this Order. Please try another payment method.”

Does this mean I wasn’t approved? Or is it a technical issue?

    • It means the computer says no. I've been getting that too and spoke to chat. They didn't give me much information apart from, their decisions are automated and cannot be overridden. The guy appears to be copy and pasting from a script, very bot like.

I interpreted that as their computer saying no to my purchase. Its funny how I can buy an item over $1500 at PC case gear before, but can't even buy a $400 item, their computer is broken…..

      • Same issue here, will it work later? The chat bot just kept repeating "try again later" "we do semi hard credit checks" etc

        • no idea, I don't think the bot will say yes, I've given up. They can have their $100 haha. I've spent too much time trying to get it.

  • So I just tried to order something from Kogan and sign up at checkout. Went to verify with a card and was rejected!? Have a credit score of 860, minimal debt and a very high income to debt ratio. I have never been rejected for credit in my life but was just turned down for a $299 purchase? Very confused..

    • Yea, me too. I think their computer is broken lol.

I've got a high credit score as well, but it appears I'm being rejected, although it doesn't explicitly say it, it just says ""Sorry, we can't complete this purchase".

      I presume I'm being rejected based on a credit decision…its not a yes. :/

      • Maybe they've given away too much money. Rubbish app

        • +1

haha yea, I don't use it normally, I only use it when there's a promo.

  • I bought Airpods Pro. I got charged first instalment straight way. If I want to pay 2nd and 3rd instalments right now, how can I do that? I could not see any option on Klarna's website.

    • +2

In the app, you have the option to pay it straight away.

  • +2

I think there is a limit of 3 transactions outstanding.

I had 3 from PCCG last time totaling up 6k but this time my 3 transactions are only $800 and I'm maxed out.

    • Aww, I missed out, I only made one transaction with PCCG last time. Should have bought 2 more graphics cards haha.

    • Same with me so I assume that 3 the limit .

  • When I try to pay, it says unable to complete identity verification. Anyone else have this problem?

  • Thanks OP just bought a switch OLED

  • Thanks, preordered the Zelda Game and Watch here and cancelled my Amazon order

  • +1

I prepaid 2nd and 3rd installemets yet don't see the 4th waived yet. Is there a catch or I just need to wait? Anyone prepay and see the 4th installment waived yet?

    • +1

you should have received an email says "we've got your 4th payment covered" and some details in it.

      • The dude wants the last instalment actually paid off by them by paying early the 3 front payments .
If it works everyone can possibly get more attacks at the target than the 3 for each a/c .
Everyone should have that email and its not the focus here .

    • +2

From my experience I wait for the 3rd payment to finish processing, jump onto Klarna chat and ask for a specialist to waive the 4th instalment. Takes < 24hrs and they'll complete the order, marking it as fully paid.

  • Does anyone know how to link flybuys with Klarna?
I joined Klarna rewards and can claim 5000 flybuys points after first purchase, but I didn't see
where I can link my flybuys with Klarna.

    • +1

Check the 'Rewards' section on the Klarna app. The reward is claim-able after the transaction is complete (including 4th payment waived by Klarna)

      • So I need to wait about 1 month before I can claim, right?

        • If you expidite the first three payments in the app, then ask Klarna to waive the 4th instalment via chat you should be able to unlock this reward as soon as the payment schedule is complete.

      • no you need to use same email you activated for the flybuys offer when signing up for klarna, after first purchase click on rewards in the klarna app and add your fluybuys number. you will received it within a couple of days like i did.

  • Read some online review about klarna about credit check, is it really that bad? So to use Klarna, does it have to be a credit card? Visa and master not allowed?

    • +2

FWIW I just checked my credit file using CreditSavvy.com.au and there have been 0 checks by Klarna on my credit file (have made 10+ Klarna purchases in the past 3 months).

      • How to get 5000 flybuy points? Is there a place on the klarna website to enter the flybuy card number?

      • +1

they use illion check your file there it will be there . mine was within a couple of days even though i selected no thanks for a credit check. you will see the entry/ies there under credit enquires as a loan. not sure if they report all of them or just the first loan every 90 days? not sure if they report it to other credit agencies too?
