    • Try mentioning to the chat rep that a family member just got a code and you would also like one. And say you are upgrading to a S21. I got mine immediately.

    Are these discount codes we got $100 and $50 connected to the email we used in the live chat? Do the codes expire?

    • I believe the $100 is linked to the email used in the trade-up app on the device you used. The $50 newsletter should be connected to the email which you signed up with from the Samsung store page. And yes they all expire.

        • The $100 code expires in 7 days. Not sure about the$50 code.

      • No they are not connected. I got codes $100 code and $50 code form 2 seperate emails and both worked

    • No there not as I used a $100 and $50 code from 2x different email addresses and it worked..

  • I talked with the live chat the day before yesterday, asking for the $100 voucher, and was told to send pictures of the fron and back of my phone, and that a voucher would be sent within 24 hours, however its been almost 48 now, and i still dont have an en email.

    Did anyone else wait that long, or do you think something has gone wrong ?

      Try again?, just say you want to upgrade your old phone to a Samsung 21 Ultra.

    • Did you have a reference code? After sending the photos, I jumped on the chat again, asked the agent to check and give me the code. All done in about 15 minutes. Good luck!

    • Same here. Apparently there are some batches which are ready to be picked up at Samsung Warehouse but Star Track hasn’t picked those yet. I ordered on 16th but still waiting for it to be picked up.

      • Me too. Called them this morning and they told me it's still at the warehouse in Syd waiting to be picked up. Couldn't give me an ETA. Ordered at 1am on 19/09/21 and status showed as dispatched on 20/09/21. I'm in Brisbane.

            • @sjq1122: Thats what they did for me. Seems no one can help except just logging a ticket. Even the ticket logged 2 days ago doesn't have any update. Seems no one at Samsung is bothering to get the phones despatched.

      • Damn that's slow. I got my orders within 2-3 days of ordering and I'm in Melbourne.

        • People who ordered later than us are still getting their orders delivered, and in past I also received my orders within 2-3 days, but unfortunately this time some batches are stuck and yet to be picked up by Star Track. Shameful for a company like Samsung. Thats where Apple wins in terms of customer service.

      Yep add them both to cart. See my comment earlier in reagrds to what cases you can get. (Not sure how to link to comment).
      After adding the buds they will be $109.50.
      After adding the case the buds will come down further by the price of the case, and the case will be normal price.

      • yeah, added Buds2 & case together, the buds2 shown $109.5 but the case shows $59. no further discount on Buds2.
        I tried last night it worked with free case but this morning it didn't allow. T&C mentioned Free case for Buds Live & Pro and no for Buds2. so just bought Buds2 without Free case :(. do you think i can live chat with to add the free case on my order? :) thanks anyway!

    And the delivery box wasn't even bubble wrapped so it was bouncing around inside it during delivery.

            @JoeBogan: It says on the website they will send you an email with a barcode. Take it to Auspost and they will do the rest. I received my phone yesterday but have not received an email for the return.

    • Samsung does not provide any sort of protection with their parcels. It's kind of concerning they package expensive phones in an empty cardboard box

  • Is the Galaxy Flip worth the price after the trade-in promo?

    • Lol no. Flip only gets $300 trade bonus (if you're not planning on sending your old phone) so $1199 for the 128gb model. That's the same price as a 512gb s21 ultra.

      Is the novelty of a bendy phone worth it VS one of the best smartphone cameras on the market?

      Flip only has dual 12mp cameras and a small 3300mah battery, less ram too ar 8gb.

    • Tossing up to get the flip as well for the wifey. Comes out to be at $1002 (for the 256GB model) with a $90 trade with the $100 voucher code and $50 newletter code. It's definitely not bang for buck in terms of value and performance but it's more than enough for what she needs. She wanted something small enough to fit in the purse/bag and big enough to watch her shows. If I do end up getting it, I'll probably purchase the Samsung Care+ for half the price atm, which I think is around $125.. as I'm not sure how robust these foldable screens are.

  • What's the trade in process? I bought the phone already but have so far only got receipt emails, nothing about sending the old phone back.

  • Is anybody getting the "Sorry, due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment" error when trying to input the trade up code at the moment. Its strange because yesterday it worked fine.

    • Mine has been stuck on this for 3 days now on this error.

      Tried different browsers, devices but no luck.

      I think i will end up not having this offer.

      Can anyone share screenshot images of trade up app settings that might be triggering it.

      Contacted Asurian and they advised to check all permissions are granted and could be some phone settings with permission or notifications?

    • Just ignore the error and keep typing your trade-in ID, then click enter on keyboard and Next option on your right side will be highlight. Try this method may work for you.

    Strangely S21 arrived this morning with the S21+ still at the warehouse (called to check because I found it strange they didnt arrive at the same time)

              @Chridim: Thats what I told the rep on call and they had no idea. They provided me the tracking number for my order that they have in their system, and said order is ready to be picked up at their warehouse, just waiting for the courier to pick. Not sure whats going on …..

        They wont be charging an admin fee, as they have confirmed the amount they would charge me. Admin fee is for if you send a product that doesnt meet the tradeup you said it did

  • For anyone who has an S20, if you have a cracked screen you can get a $200 voucher which is stackable with the $100 voucher and $50 news letter. I just got the s21 128gb for $199 (Once I pay my non return fee) and the S21 Ultra 256gb for $799 (Once I pay my non return fee) takes abit of time going through the two different chats

        It took 25 minutes. Just waited while the guy on the chat processed it, you just need to send them photos of the broken phone and they review and provide
