    That camera has a very wide FOV, maybe not the best for office meetings but good for streaming.

      Its fine for office meetings, just crop it in.
      OBS is free :)
      Speaking from experience :)

      And if you use teams, not zoom, then use the blur background filter.

      Just compare it with my MS Lifecam, yes it is wider FOV and I can put it on top of my Xiaomi lightbar.

          Not too wide, a bit wider than my MS lifecam 720p, not sure how is it compare with Logitech FHD models.

          Same distance from webcam, MS lifecam show up to my shoulder and this show up to my stomach

    Every laptop comes with a build-in camera. Now some even have two: one front and one back.
    Can't find a use case if the one on laptop works.

      Position. I use a 38" Dell monitor and the laptop is positioned on the right of it. The camera on that laptop is on 50 angle from straight on and faces a window.
      It is not a terribly good camera either. I got the V1 camera and it is heaps better.

    Doe this webcam take more resources (RAM and CPU) on windows while working on zoom ? My current non branded cam takes approximately 70 percent of my CPU while doing zoom calls. I have seen many such issues of zoom utilising high CPU over the web, but was wondering if it was in anyways related to the brand of webcam too ?

    I bought the V1 in November for $45 (the V2 at the time was $69), but put in a cheeky refund request claiming shitty mic and that I'd rather the V2 as its noted to be much better.

    I went through the BS troubleshooting steps (literally just a reply to each step saying no change) and a week later they approved it. They put the condition of the refund would change a $20 restocking fee, but if I showed an order number for the V2 that they'd waive the restock fee. But return postage is on me - good thing I paid with Paypal and haven't used any of my free returns this year.

    I don't mind the bit of muckin around +$5 if it means I can have the better performing mic… not bad… V1 quality has been great.
