Increased Referral Bonus of US$200 Worth of SG (Crypto): Min US$30 Spend in 30 Days Required @ SocialGood App

1015

As per recent deal, I have tried and tested this myself, have gotten few thousands worth of SocialGood coins and cashed out to USDT.

It was $100 referral, now $200, not sure what to make of it, but my guess is they are not reaching their new sign up targets quick enough. Though, there's not much really to lose by trying out the App.

IMO eBay AU works best with tracking(12-24 hours) and approvals always happen at the end of the following month, so it takes 31-60 days for eBay AU.

Aliexpress have also worked for me. Haven't really tried other stores.

New users need to spend US$30 or more within 30 days of signing up.

For those who have more questions about the SG/App, withdrawals, feel free to DM me, happy to help answer any questions. I've been using the SG app since May 2021.

now when you click aliexpress in social good you should get an email
Did you find what your looking for ?

It should come a few hours after you exit.

          • @Bargain-er: Go in the app to FAQ, almost any ticket, then at the bottom: "have more questions : submit a request"

    Worthless app now.
    Just want to withdraw now

It's mind boggling that not many people are calling this out for what it is lol. People are still trying to buying random "freebies" with a 100% AliExpress cashbacks and in their back of the minds are certain they're going to be paid out.

How many red flags have there been? Seems like there's a lot of new people to crypto here. Either this shoddy behaviour will pass and blow over, and the loyalists will stay, or this is a great exit scam and everyone will leave. The owners have probably made enough as it is.

How could someone in their right mind think like "ok, this company's blocked withdrawals, has unrealistic cashbacks and referrals, but let's go shop for a $400 camera because we're definitely going to get a $400 cashback! - win win".

First of all, you're relying on this shoddy company to pay you out, which it looks like they're not.
Secondly, if withdrawals opened, prices will absolutely nosedive, making your 'freebie' not so much of a freebie anymore.

I'm not saying that this is definitely a scam, but it's very fishy. I've been around crypto long enough.

      • +1

First of all, you're relying on this shoddy company to pay you out, which it looks like they're not.

I guess one can also say it looks like they could still be paying. Otherwise, they would have rugged the project by now. Having a team which is doxxed and some connection to a country’s govt helps a little.

Secondly, if withdrawals opened, prices will absolutely nosedive, making your 'freebie' not so much of a freebie anymore.

This is where you need to be quick when withdrawals are approved. Also, even if the price goes down by a lot, it’s likely the cashback would still be higher than SB or CR.

I've been around crypto long enough.

I tend to find that people who have been in crypto long enough don’t really believe in newer things like DeFi, NFTs, Metaverse etc. The crypto space is a space which is constantly innovating and projects like SG will always be experimental and therefore anyone “buying” into this project should be aware of the risks involved. That’s probably why there isn’t many complaints here.

        • -5

Do you have full faith your tokens are being paid out?

          • +1

@Mysterious: Right now I would say it’s 50/50. Only time will tell mate. Important thing here is I am aware of the risks involved.

            • @ilovefullprice: Well said, buying ebay items through SG with 50% coin back is worth the risk compared to 3-4% shopback/cashrewards.

              • +1

@Bargain-er: Ok, 50% or 100% vs 3-4% will get people hooked up, I will bear that in mind when next to setup my own crypto scam, lolz… joking as I do have that mentality too , which is why I guess we have all been exploited…

                • +1

@mountaineer: Well, if i put money directly to SG then i would be nervous. But i bought $50 items which i need on eBay and 3% shopback cb is not attractive enough so for me it's all good.

            • +2

@hawkeye93: What's so funny? The day coins were meant to be paid out, suddenly eBay is locked, withdrawals are suspended and no one's gotten their coins.

      • -5

You know that we have free return with Paypal or even Aliexpress, right? So nothing to lose.

        • -6

          Yeah keep negging. Lol

          • -6

            @hawkeye93: bunch of idiots negging.

            • +2

@hawkeye93: Dont let it get to you. More important things than someone negging your comment

  • Lol all withdrawals suspended now because of “a few heartless users”.

    Also quote

We plan to implement a KYC (Know-Your-Customer) identification check into the SG withdraw process to prevent this sort of fraudulent activity in the future. This measure will prevent fraudulent SG withdrawals by users with multiple accounts.

We are working hard to restart withdraws as soon as possible, but we are unable to promise an exact restart date. As soon as withdraws are available again, we will announce it on our official Twitter (https://twitter.com/socialgood_inc). Thank you for your kind patience.

    • +3

Even ignoring the referral bonuses, they're blocking normal purchases from being withdrawn. Wonder how sketch KYC will be with them, they're not held to any standards.

The most shocking thing in this thread is there are so many people so easy to believe this project actually has a connection to the Tokyo or Japan government. Are you naive to trust what has been wrote on a website without known person or company, or I'm stupid

    • "So many people", you mean the 2 or 3 people that called out their scepticism about this project being backed by the Japanese government? Don't jump to conclusion right away…

    • LMAO. There’s nothing to lose here if you buy stuff you need. Compared to just a few percentage of CB from CR or SB.

      • Price of the items via SG on AliExpress has always been higher than other sellers I could find direct on AE (same items, different seller).
So you do loose some money if the cashback doesn't work out.

        • -2

I can just return using Paypal.

        • 15~35% higher than other place, for the one available to buy through SG filtered aliexpress

  • -1

So whenever I get a "Spend $30 get $XXX bonus" promotion, my purchases are not getting tracked. At other times all orders are tracked within 1-2 hours.
    What a joke!

  • +2

eBay AU is back on the SG app at 1.5% crypto back rate.

    • +1

Well at least it will be sustainable now. Maybe some hope the project survives.

Update in the SG Zendesk - Withdrawals are planned to begin reopening partially on February 25th. (Updated: February 22nd)

    • Good news, though everything I purchased from Jan 2nd onwards is still listed as ‘pending’. How long does it usually take? My initial bonus was approved but is just shy of the US$300 needed for withdrawal.

      • January eBay purchases approved 1st-2nd March
January Aliexpress purchases approved ~90 days after seller marks as 'shipped'

Regarding your balance being just shy of US$300… I expect as soon as the withdrawals begin again on 25th Feb you can expect the SG coin price to tank down to US$0.50, like every month before it, so your balance will then be ~US$150 - well shy of the US$300 required to withdraw. Unless they remove this US$300 withdrawal minimum.

        • Yes I suspect you're right! Hmm all my purchases were ebay, except for a Booking.com purchase in there that I later cancelled.

        • Sooo should we short x100 SG on bitmart on the 25th for an easy cash gain?

          • @centrelink: Not financial advice, but yep if you could short on Bitmart then this would be an easy strategy. Cycle has historically been very predictable. Then we know pools are topped up again around end of 1st week of month and then again near end of month, pushing prices north. Rinse & repeat. If only Bitmart allowed shorting on s__tcoins :)

          • @centrelink: The 2 exchanges Bitmart and Bittrex does not have options to short SG.

What you could do is buy SG when the price drops, then set to sell your SG at a price just below $1 and just wait for the next round when the devs buys back to push the price back up to $1.

            As always, DYOR.

        • +1

with 1% cashback from ebay, he needs to spend another (150*1.38/0.01)x2 = 51400 AUD on ebay to meet the withdraw requirement :)

  • Withdraw will partially reopen on 25th Feb, but if the pool will be refilled or not is a question.

    eBay has been added back.
But it has duplicate ebay motors lines give 1.5%, motors 0%.
One real estate line says 0.37% and another real estate line says 0%.

Thought the project is running by a few internship students, but from this I'd say this project team might be just several 10 years kids

    • It’s pretty damn sloppy!

      • +1

Would be your lucky moments in your life if you have got big money from this project, and your few luckiest moments if they allow you to withdraw your remaining balance and cash out

    P.S.
Japan was the first country in the world to legitimize cryptocurrency, and is also one of the top countries globally for widespread use of shopping reward systems. We hold 68 patents for our Crypto Back rewards business model.
It has not yet been announced publicly, but the Japanese government has officially begun supporting the SocialGood Project. They plan to list us on their official website, and we will announce it as soon as it is made public.

So you're apart of socialgoods team? When you say partially enabling withdrawals on the 25 please specify

The sheep has went to use the money to buy the dip, so the cake can be larger , so you get a share , guess that's why yours failed . Give the sheep a bit of time

    • You have on-chain analysis for this? Just asking if you have checked, don’t need to provide the proof if it’s too much trouble thanks.

  • So has anyone been selected to partially withdraw their S**coin? lol

    • +2

No, shockingly my previously accepted withdrawal is now backbin my account. Another request is failing and showing not meeting minimum requirement, although it's above USD300

      • Same, somehow my approved balance has gone up a few hundred USD despite getting no more shopping approvals.

      • Similar here, even though my balance was initially still above $300 I got an error the min. wasn't met to withdraw.
        Now value again below $300

    • the one who negged my comment, I am happy to be proven wrong… will you come up and care to offer your angle?lol

  • -1

How can everyone still be so naive and gullible? It doesn't look like the coins are going to be withdrawn at all. I see people buying things on AliExpress with a 100% cashback knowing they're going to get the cashback. Do you not realise our coins got locked up the day we were supposed to be able to withdraw them?

    • Maybe should have looked at there wallets before leaving a comment like that. They just topped up the distribution wallets.

      • All my withdrawals failed. I can't even withdraw my $530 balance, I get an error regardless of what I try to withdraw. Have you had success withdrawing? Or anyone?

        • Referral income can't be withdrawn or bonuses. Shopping spends can. So you need at least $300 in shopping.

The mints will drive the price down to 60cents or lower.

  • Some mints have been made, so at least some people will start getting paid soon

  • Referrals need to do kyc, all cashback can now be withdrawn provided it's over $300 USD without referrals

Kyc it's self is not implemented yet. With how many mints that have happened I expect the price to fall very quickly.

    • Withdrawal capped at max $500 USD.

      • Looks like you can only withdraw if you haven't referred anyone.

      • It's maximum including past withdrawals.

        • Not sure what you mean.

    • My previous withdrawal failed.
Then tried a new withdrawal when it was supposedly open, I got an error that minimum wasn't met.
Now the value dropped below $300 and of course also not possible to withdraw..

      • You will probably have to monitor the token’s price until it reaches a level where your min balance is above $300, then withdraw.

        • I got the email saying it reopened, balance was just above $300, but kept failing

          • @johnmelb: When I got the email, the balance on my account wasn’t available to be withdrawn yet. I wait 15-30 mins, then the withdrawal amount appeared in the blue font part in one of the withdrawal screens, and was able to withdraw this.

          • @johnmelb: Token price is back up close to $1 now. You can check if your withdrawal balance is above $300.

  • Successfully withdrew and received $500 USD minus fee to my Trust Wallet.

    • when did you process it , i did it 2 hours ago and is pending …

      • Just got mine and I waited for about 3 hours.

      • Approx 2.5 hours ago when I got an email saying withdrawals have partially reopened.

  • Well the AliExpress orders have all been approved

Also managed to withdraw $500 worth of SG and send to bit mart. Took a day.

So those saying it was a rug pull were wrong.

    • Still have to go through private wallet right?

  • This is so confusing. I keep getting please input withdrawal amount equal or lower than the maximum amount. Tried usd $300, $400, $500 all with similar error messages..

    • I had the similar error, but saying below withdrawal amount, now my balance is below $300..

      • +1

Is your balance >$300 shopping cashback earned only? It doesn’t include referrals or bonuses as of yet to be eligible for withdrawal.

        • It was, now not anymore

        • Ok so doesn’t include the $100 bonuses from spending $30?

          • @tajid: It appears right now approved withdrawals doesn’t include the bonuses.

  • I had 800 usd sg coin but only allowed to withdraw 400. Managed to withdraw 400 and have sent to bittmart via coinspot wallet and sold for usdt. Cost me $60usd in fees all up

    • Proving SG is useless now if cashback rates are only a few %.
      Unless they would do bonuses.

    • +2

Sharing how much my fees were:

      1. Withdraw from SocialGood app to Trust Wallet. They charged network fee of 8.67 USD
      2. Send ETH from FTX (formerly Blockfolio) app to Trust Wallet for free.
      3. Withdraw from Trust Wallet to BitMart. Transaction fee was 0.00209 ETH (approx. 5.84 USD at the time)
      4. Sell SG for USDT on BitMart. Trading fee is 0.25%
      5. Send USDT to Binance via TRC20 for 1 USDT.

      Total — a little over 23 AUD

      • FTX(pro and non pro) supports Tether TRC20 as well. Did you do a limit order or market order for Bitmart ? The spread selling market will be fairly large.

        • Never withdrawn AUD from FTX before so not 100% sure how long it takes and liquidity is best on Binance.

          Always use limit order.

      • What trust wallet did you use? And how did you do free eth transfer?

        Mine was
SG to metamask wallet $14 USD
ETH from exchange to metamask wallet $12USD x2 (because the fee went up and I didn't have enough after first transfer)
        SG to bitmart $10usd

        • +1

Trust Wallet (TW) is another private crypto wallet similar to Metamask.

S/he got the free ETH token transfer from FTX to TW because FTX (using their app, not their website) provides free transfer outs. So you can buy ETH on the FTX app (via your bank account) and then transfer out ETH to anywhere for free.

        • In this case, I've used the Trust Wallet app.

Read the other comments in this post about FTX Blockfolio app's unlimited free withdrawals.

    • How did you pay $60 in fees!! also you might be able to withdraw the other $400 in 24hours.
Use FTX for eth, on bitmart you can sell to xrp or tether and send back to ftx.

      • Why in 24 hours? Are they changing something between now and then?

        • +1

In the app under the withdrawal screen, there is a T&C which says you can only withdraw once every 24 hours. This T&C is not new and has been around for a while now.

  • +1

    Fees

    $4.55 SG to private wallet
$0.04 BNB Private wallet to FTX
$0.00 BNB to ETH via FTX
    $0.00 ETH to private wallet
    $8.35 SG to Bitmart
    $12.00 SG to USDT
    $1.00 USDT to Binance

    Around $36 aud

    • Why $12 SG to usdt? Not enough liquidity?
