      The vita has about 4 hours battery life, where as the 3DS has about 3 hours.

      Im not denying the 3DS is fun, it has some great games, but its been out for a while now, so hard to for the vita to compete on that front just yet, but in 6 months or so, the Vita will have lots of great games out.

    The Vita can CLEARLY display games at 1st gen PS3 levels of quality. when games start to look better, I don't think the battery is going to be any better till new battery packs are made. In. The end im going to purchase a vita anyway, like which consoles havnt I purchased, have everything well maybe except Xbox.

    I searched around about language options for FIFA (but may be the same for others) and found that the language options are automatically determined by the system language. Hope this helps anyone making a decision.

    Anyone getting the second email in German after the first confirmation email?
    I google translate the second email and it says to provide them by fax with the bank statement and stuff. Anyone got that or just me?

      I got this email too and my order was cancelled for "security reasons". Even my Amazon account was LOCKED!!!!

      It seems they found this great deal is turely a system glitch then make such a stupid excuse to deal with the existing orders. Good Job! Amazon.

      This deal(or glitch) is still existing now but I don't recommand you guys to place an order because it has a very high chance to make your Amazon account LOCKED unless you fax them a bank statement.

          No, I don't think they have even tried to charge so they can use this "security reasons" as an excuse. I paid my Vodafone bill using exactly the same credit card and everything is OK.
          If your credit card has been charged, Congratulations, they can't use this excuse again and have to ship your order. I'm not sure if they can find another excuse to prevent this happen but you'd better keep a eye on it.

      i got the second reply because i have sent the photo of my bank statement to them. it said " the hold has been removed from your amazon.de account, you may track the progress of ur ordervia the{your acct}, we will send an email notification to advise you that your order is on the way"….seems like evergthing is ok now…waiting for dispatch.. my credit card has been charged 246.11 aud..i am with NAB..

    Pulled the plug. Been watching this thread like a hawk and trying to resist. Don't know why, but I bought the old psp and a bunch of games I never played and ended up selling it, and I think this will be a repeat in 2 yrs time @_@

    On another note, one of my mates told me there might be issues with the memory card being from the EU region.

      You will need an Aus adapter, definitely. It can be charged via USB however so if you have an iphone charger or other USB to wall plug you can charge via that.

      The Vita works like a data/power connection to USB, which then connects to its own brick to then connect to the wall so the USB section can be removed and plugged into a PC/PS3 ala can be used with other wall USB plugs

    I submitted my order after JimT posted about getting the second email from Amazon.de and the amazon account being locked.
    I just wanted to update ozbargainers to let you know that I didn't have this problem, my order went straight through and I received only the confirmation email with an expected delivery date between 28th April and 14th of May.
    That was a few hours ago and so far so good…

      I received this confirmation letter too. But 3 hours later, they send me another mail told me that my order had been cancelled because "After careful review of your account, we believe it may have been accessed and used by a third-party to attempt to make purchases without your permission."
      Just check your credit card to see if it has been charged.

    Just updating you guys, I placed my order last night at around 10:30pm with a Mastercard. I have just received the second email from them, saying that my order has been SENT via German Post DHL and will arrive on Monday, 7th May 2012.

    I see that a lot of people are either having their order cancelled due to security reasons or bank statement requested. I think it may have something to do with properly registering an IP address when placing the order (as oppose to having it hidden) and perhaps certain credit cards transactions didn't go through smoothly, such as all AMEX or Visa for example… Not sure exactly, just trying to help work out why through the process of elimination…

      Thanks for the heads up. I cancelled my order and resubmitted it. It dropped to 182.99 euro (with Rayman), which should be around $235 to $240 once Mastercard get their fees.

      How can you tell you couldn't cancel? I cancelled my order (I think) and redid for the lower price and it didn't come up with anything stopping me. But I didn't get a cancellation email or can find cancelled orders (but it's no longer in my orders, so I hope it cancelled!)
