Have you seen the EOFY cashback increase banner on the Cashrewards website and wondered when it would be live? Well… it's now live for Apple!

Reached out to TA last week to see if there was any upcoming increase for Apple (after having missed the last one), and was told there'll be one this week :)

  • During the 24 hour promo, cashback for Apple is capped at $100 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 12am to 11:59pm AEST 24/06/2022.
  • Ineligible for cashback (updated 08/06/22): Mac Studio, Mac Studio Display, Pro Display XDR, iPad Air, 9th Gen iPad, MacBook Air M2, MacBook Pro 13" M2, Gift Cards, Gift Wrap, Shipping, Apple Developer Programs, AppleCare products purchased individually or after associated product has shipped.
  • Important: Cashback tracks to member accounts between 2-7 days after you receive confirmation from Apple that the product has been shipped.
  • Apple sells and ships products to end user customers only; you may not purchase for resale. Eligible only to a customer for up to five (5) units per eligible product, except iPhone, in which case only two (2) units within a thirty-day (30-day) period are eligible.
  • Cashback is eligible on purchases paid with gift cards, and eligible on the purchase of Apple refurbished products.
  • Cashback is ineligible on EPP purchases (Employee Purchase Program).

      I got my CB tracked through the AOC a few weeks back.. I'll see in a few months if approved or not

      But now I see it will be ineligible

        Did you click out from the EDU store on Cashrewards, and then manually change the link to the AOC store within the address bar?
        I have tried it for my last purchase of a M1 Pro 14" MBP. It never tracked.

          Before clicking through CR I was already on the AOC store. Then after going to CR website, clicking through Apple, it redirects straight to the AOC. I did it twice on different days and it tracked twice.

        Valid question. AOC = Apple On Campus.

        Some universities have a portal that allows staff and students to purchase Apple products at a slightly bigger discount (than the education store) for most products.

      Currently no iPhones are excluded, but yes, when new iPhones come out they are usually excluded

    When you want the MBPRO CPU/GPU and ram upgrades but $1000-$1500 seems so high.

    This is probably one of the best discounts you will get stacked with EDU store.

    I’m hoping to travel soon though so want to wait signing 60 days so I can claim GST back

      The entire amount has to be paid with your linked ANZ card to get ANZ rates, else it defaults to standard rate (10%).

      There is a trick you can try: change order to pickup in-store then switch back to delivery. It worked for me

    I just bought an Macbook yesterday through Cashrewards but with 1.5%. Does anyone know if I can email CashRewards and ask for the 10% instead or do I have to return it and buy the Macbook again today?

      Yes! Return it then buy it again! If you paid using Apple Account Balance, refund should come back into account in a few hours! That’s what I did a few weeks ago

    Looks like I can buy on the education store without confirming my education status but I don't qualify so might get cancelled. Silly how school students don't qualify.

    What configuration would people pick for MBPRO to try and future proof it for future use?

    32gb ram at roughly $500 and/or a couple of CPU upgrades for 270/410/680?
