            @Ramennightmare: No, square trade does not have authority to charge bonus on ur cc , only trade in value and only if u use it.

            That is written in their T and C, if u donor send phone in, they will only charge Trade in value.

            May be u will get blacklisted, but that will be next time when u trade in with them.

    Did anyone purchase instore and receive all their bonuses right away?

    I got two separate coupons for the chromecast and Nesthub (apparently to be claimed the day after tomorrow) and no mention of the $100 gift card. It says in the T+C that the gift card should be given "at time of collection" - not sure if that refers to the chromecast or the pixel collection

    Did anyone manage to redeem their chromecast/nesthub today?
    I think flying owl managed to get his $100 today, did anyone else get it?

      I saw a post from caobey earlier that he/she received the physical gift card pretty much straight away.
      That is why I went back to the store and claim it.

      Took a few mins for them to check, but they did gave it to me today.

        so for my one, since i bought it instore, i needed to pick up the gift voucher then and there. I think the person who sold it to me didn't know. I had to speak to the mobile phone person who sorted it out. I would suggest anyone who buys it instore to make sure they get their voucher right away as well as redeeming their cast/hub (Despite the conditions saying you need to wait a day)

      I got everything strait away. The guy said I could only have the voucher strait away but then after I paid the coupons printed with the receipt so I redeemed them strait away. Paid with gift cards in store. the guy was a champ.

      Bought this for me and my wife. Purchased in morning (10am) for myself and got nothing. Went back around 6pm for my wife and got all 3 straight away - Vouchers for the 2x Google items to redeem tomorrow and $100 gift card. Was then able to get my $100 gift card when I provided my morning's receipt, but they advised my Google items would be likely emailed to me in coming days.

        My local store said they'll activate the gift card on the spot and if I don't receive it in person,that I'll get it in my email+ something about receiving the coupons for the other things and how you have to wait 24 hours to use the coupon.

          Yup that's correct! The trade in is done online and you get an email with your phone trade in value. In the same email, there is a banner for the $300 pixel voucher, you click that and get another email with the $300 voucher. Bring those two to the store and get it all done.

          But note, seems from the comments different stores are doing different things as seems the communication down from head office hasn't been clear….

      I did click and collect. Store told me I'd get everything sent to me. The guy before me in que got his 100 voucher on the spot as he had made the purchase in store. Not sure about the redemption stuff.

    If I don't send in the trade-in phone, and don't use the gift card (but use the $300 coupon), would they just cancel the gift card?

    Or instead of cancelling the gift card, they would charge my credit card for the gift card amount?

      can confirm as I did exactly that… if you cancel your trade-in of whatever phone you traded but used the bonus coupon code ($300) on the P7 squaretrade only charge your CC the value of the trade-in phones eGift card value. The bonus coupon is yours to keep and use on a P7 they do not charge the bonus $300 coupon to your CC.

      In my case I cancelled my trade-in of my P6 cause my partner smashed her phone so it was cheaper to pay the trade-in value than go buy her a cheap android phone for the same value and she now has a way better phone than any other phone I could have got her for the same value. So my missus gets a P6 for $350 instead of a cheap Nokia/Motorola or something like that.

          I guess you could just email them directly as well, it was a bit of basic respone though all I got was "You will only get charged for the eGift card, not the coupon code."

            probably just send mine back anyway $220 for P5.
            last one sold on ebay was 3 days ago $350, the price wont get any better with the new ones out now (and great deals around)

              @G-rig: @G-rig can't speak to blacklisting I've not seen anything to that effect inlcluding within my squaretrade account. In any case my motivation to cancel was not to make more money on my current phone by selling elsewhere, it was to give my partner a working phone immediatley that she really needed.

              The FAQ hasn't changed it is the same as it was last week with the only mention of bonus coupon cancel being "Trade-in orders that are cancelled, may also mean coupon cancellation." Key word being "may", if you have used it already to get a new P7 then they cannot cancel however I guess the question remains which is not listed in the FAQ is will they charge that amount to your CC on top of the trade-in value of your phone! according to my comms with them they said no it won't only the eGift card (trade-in value).

    I used the trade in coupon, but did not use the gift card provided as part of the trade in value.
    Redeemed the coupon in store, and had to request for the gift card. I am not sure if the staff purposely do not want to give the gift card or they are unaware of the current promotions that is running. The store did not allow me to use the $100 promotional gift card.
    I went to Woollies, bought the Ultimate Home Variable gift cards by topping two of them ($500 and $100) and used it along with some cash for the remaining purchase amount.
    On my rewards app, I only received $10 as promotional amount for the Ultimate Home gift card and wondering if anyone else has a similar experience.

      I had this happen. I emailed them they said the order don't go through and to try again.

      I tried again and it worked. I don't know if they had t o anything on their side though. Response from my email was less than 10 mins so was resolved pretty quick

      Those Ultimate gift cards from Woolies aren’t Visa cards, they’re EFTPOS cards which only works on purchases in store. If you want to use it online, you’ve to convert it into JB gift cards

      Online (JB's website): You can only use 1 Ultimate Gift Card in a single transaction. This is similar to how you could use only 1 debit or credit card per txn.
      Instore (JB): You can use any number of Ultimate GCs (known maximum is 81). I just used 7(6100AUD, 1500AUD) UGCs this evening for a single txn.

      Note: You could use any number of JB's GCs per txn, whether online or instore.

    Bought instore this afternoon, stock was lowish. Didn't have hazel but had snow (pro 128gb) so got that (something other than a black phone) and also got a little off the price with a screen protector. Used coupon aswell.
    Got the gift card and redeemed the bonus item on the spot, walked out with my hands full.
    Bought a wallet case from the kiosk in local shopping centre, surprised they actually had it. Had to wait 2 weeks when I got pixel 5.

    Will get a better one once more are available on Amazon (got a nice brown leather one for my 5 not too long ago)

        i did the same thing with 6a for family member back in august and didnt budge, not a single cent and this was like 10 days after release date ( different store)
        if you get lucky and get the right person

    The stacking of this deal is pretty great in the end, especially for a brand new relase.

    Just having a look on ebay - used pixel 5 sold for $349 yesterday, think you'd be lucky to get that but wondering if it's worth selling if it's possible to cancel the trade (arrange no default or you get black listed)? probably not worth the effort for another $100-120. Just need for wipe the old one but still have a fabric case i will advertise.

        Anyone else using Zuslab? Usually they are good but this one seems plasticy. It also has a stupid fingerprint hole/clear spot which is really distracting.

        The edges are also lifting and there's a clear border around the flat part of the screen.
