    • I'm on this plan, use my data for work + YouTube everyday and I still have enough. It's all about being a little smarter with the data. It's an excellent price, and if you can afford to tone your video quality down to 720p or even 480p, you won't have a problem.

      • I need to double check what happened first. I remember buying it because of a popular OzBargain deal, but I just had a search through and couldn't find a 140GB Boost Mobile deal for $250.

        I double checked and I do have 140GB of data, but I'll have to check how much I paid for it because something is very wrong here…

      • OKAY GOOD NEWS! I paid $151 not $250. No clue how I remembered $250 and how I paid such a little amount, but I checked PayPal history and it was $151 :)

      as long as you are not a customer of boost when you purchase it. It wouldnt be problem to port in and out. Ive done it so many times, sometimes the problem is you port in and out in the same day and port in again with new provider(boost). But i dont see any problem at all

        I already purchased as Boost customer. I thought you only needed to not be Boost when you activate and request porting number? Will I need to refund this?

          I think you should be fine when you activate new boost sim that you opt out and in again to boost, no need to refund i believe

  • Have 2 in-laws visiting for 3 months - this or pay as you go? Previously found payg options are pretty expensive as required recharges of 40/50 bucks within a month or normal usage

    I got trouble with them after my sim stopped working. They activated new sim but wiped off all the remaining credit. Otherwise need to order sim through them which may take several days to arrive and live with no connection.

  • Boost network has gotten worse. I will switch to Optus in 2023 again.

    Although it's been advertised as $160 on the splash page, when I get through to the checkout and billing, it is charging the full amount $200.

    Is anyone else having this problem?

    edit: I'm currently on boost, but buying a sim for a new (different) mobile number. Is the discount not tracking because it see my old address and email and thinks I'm not a new customer?

      The usual data is 130gb, there is currently a 10gb bonus if you activate by 28/11/2022.

      So for your second recharge in a year's time, you will only get 130gb instead of the 140gb.

          Yep, you can. But just know you wont get any prorated amount back if you do.

  • This has come at an excellent time for me. I just ran out of data on the 80bg/365 day plan. There's nothing comparable for the money, so I've bought a $6 Amaysim to port out and will port back in afterwards. Thanks TA.

      • Yes, it worked fine. As it's a new sim, and not a code, I'd guess you may not even need to port out.

    Upon checking with our technical team, since it's the last day of the plan offer, our system has encountered huge volume of orders affecting the online system.

    • yep, just tried to order and got the same error message :(

    • Try using incognito browsing. Don't use any auto-populated data, type them in yourself.

      Got the same problem first time. Second time it was showing $200 instead of $160. Third time worked. I didn't not clear any cache. Cashback confirmation came within 30 seconds from cashrewards. I think you might have to try multiple times.

      • Exact same thing that happened to jakkas7, happened to me. Third time it worked. No need to clear cache/history. Just need to close the tab and re-visit the site.

        • thanks for that, i have found in the meantime the belong mobile $15 for 20GB MBB plan which seems better value @$0.75per GB in comparison to $0.89 per GB as i'm looking to use it in a mobile broadband device only and don't mind if im limited to 100mbps only as it will suite my needs.

  • I tried buying this sim and it got declined 2 times using 2 different cards. Did anyone face this issue?

  • Arrived yesterday. Sim expiry May 2024.

    Came in a normal domestic letter envelope and was left in my mailbox, didn’t need to sign for it or show ID like the website said.

  • just did a port for a mate, from BELONG to BOOST (same both Telstra) - literally 4 mins. saturday morning 9am

    • Was your mate still legless from Friday night?

    • When you port from Belong to Boost, do you have to supply Belong account number, or do you say it's a prepaid?

      • Of course must supply. Belong is post paid.

        Try google "belong post paid or prepaid" you will get the answer.

    • Usually people happy with 150 (nett, after all promos)

        • Yes, you can get in eBay for 150 normally. If you manage to get some bonus cashback from SB or CB for buying gift cards, it can even go down to 140 or 130 … But 120 is a bit hard….

          My current plan ends in March, so I had to pass …

    I am on Belong. Bought this package. Do I need to port to another network or can move dire9from belong to Boost?

  • Can the SIM be activated when you are traveling abroad? My guess is it should work because it's all online. Right?

  • Mine arrived today. I'd ordered it on the 9th (1 week arrival) and an Amaysim to jump to on the 10th (it arrived Monday night).

    Ported to Amaysim at 8.20am yesterday and it took 3 minutes to action. Ported back to Boost tonight and it took under a minute.

        • Same position. ported out Friday and will port back in Monday morning. I find Boost is usually quick.

  • I just activated mine now, ported from Amaysim to Boost, it was done basically instant
