      I sent an email to HV and ask my cashback redemption progress this morning. I received an response within an hour, it says "Your form has been received an a cheque will be out to you this week."

    Horray! I think there might have been a problem as they didnt have my name on the system and I had to resend via email the details again. Whatever the case, they dealt with it quickly and friendly and I'm very happy with the service.

        It took five days for them to reply initially, asking me for more details such as invoice number. After I responded the second time, they replied that same day saying it was sorted

          Odd. I sent mine via registered post and they said they didn't have my information either. I had to resend via email also a few days ago and they replied saying they'll be cutting me a cheque this week.

          I have the exact same story (registered post / no information). So I resent them the details via email. I dealt with Josh and have his office phone no. If anyone is having trouble receiving a reply email pm me for the phone number.
          There is definitely something fishy about them "losing" claims.

    I have not received my cash back yet and have just sent an email to "[email protected]".
    So far it has been 4 weeks, I know the form says 4-6 weeks but i want my money!!!

    At least HN could just give us a confirmation.

    I sent the forms via Registered post, so i know HN has received them for sure :)

        no, the only issue I had was space bar seemed weird, but that was to do with the positon I was hitting it.

        Actually ended up getting a Macbook Pro retina today.

        I am happy to sell the laptop for what it cost me, so $500, plus any transaction cost (ie postage, paypal fee or similar. I can't be bothered listing it somewhere to sell it for more than that.

      Yep me too. I just emailed as suggested earlier and got a response in about 5 minutes. If you do email make sure to give them the invoice number and the name which you claimed under.

    I got mine, spent some on getting a SSD to make the Toshiba even faster! NOTE: the toshiba ubook uses THIN HD so i had to skin (remove the HD cover) to get the SSD motherboard into the netbook. A little tape and it will never move and i now have an awesome laptop. Just installed OSX M/LION in virtualbox, its not great but its fun to tweak and play with! It will be a while before its ready for primetime but it does book now in all its apple glory.
