Nice ATL. Silicon production seems to be above demand these days. Price dropping steadily.

Samsung T7 is a faster drive drive though.

    • +1

Lots of disks are faster than this one.

But the price is good for what it is.

    • get the red one. it's even faster

What is the use of these? You can get 2b potable drive for similar price

      SSD vs Hard Drive
      Different speed

    • Faster transfer of files, photos etc.

    • SSD more tolerant of rough physical handling/knocks/drops than HDD

    • +7

A cautionary word - do NOT try drinking hard drives. No matter how potable they seem.

Found this deal. Not as cheap as the last one but good enough. If buying from Binglee Ebay there is a further voucher code.

    can I use 2 codes ? I also have a perks code

    edit: tried : not working

  • would get this one over a usb drive for work?

  • Is this SSD good for data backup purpose? Some people says if not freq use, it is better to use normal external HDD?

    • I'm not sure but have read when not connected to a power source for a long time there could be problems.

  • Sustain write speed is not good based on reviews.

  • +1

Well, my data stored on this drive disappeared after one month. Buy at your own risk.

  • Too much inventory they need to get rid of it or bank loans problems

  • We have about 4/5 of these at home, it is good for what it is and being a bit more rugged than your average SSD.
