@beaver2233: I buy sports cars online delivered to my door, its just a TV, if I get it great, if not I get a refund. why worry?

  • I contacted Samsung Australia today (their official website) and canceled my order.
Was told that they are still processing it and based on the shipping company it's expected to be delivered on 14.03.2023 (based on eBay by the 04.04.2023).
The reason why I cancel it is that I got the 65" Frame from JB HiFi (got TCN Him from Woolworths and currently there is a special $50 off on orders over $500).
It came down to $1229 (-10% off the gift cards)

    • Even I wanted to cancel the Frame and get onto the JB deal but the online chat person said he could not cancel the order since the order is already allocated and ready to be shipped but they are still finding the local courier for delivery. Did they initially say they can't cancel or they straightaway canceled it?

      • RIP. Does anyone know approximately when can Samsung find their new courier?

      • They weren’t keen of canceling my order. We’re trying to convince me that the order is coming and will be dispatched soon.

        • Ok same with me. can you please let me know how did the agree to cancel? I'll give it a go again now.

  • +1

Contacted Samsung on Monday and they said they would escalate to back office to schedule for re delivery, no update since then. Start to worry as they are holding over 1k of my money not knowing what’s going on. Can’t believe such poor operation and customer service for a large organization in 2023, I will no doubt give them a negative feedback on eBay

  • My message to samsung ebay:

    Hello Samsung,

ANC told me the driver went to pick up my tv but was told but someone called Mark that Samsung couldn’t find my tv.

Can you please explain what’s going on?

If nothing can be done, please provide a refund asap.

    Thanks

  • Trying to cancel on live chat with Samsung now. Expect it to be painful!

    • Sure is. They said my phone number doesn't match the order. What a rubbish rubbish experience.

      • OK they finally found the order….and……………..supposedly it is cancelled. Was meant to get an email from them. Got nothing.

NEVER EVER WILL I BUY DIRECT FROM SAMSUNG!

    • I went through a cancellation process with Samsung two months ago … placed order on their site and before it was shipped tried to cancel, couldnt do it … had to wait for attempted delivery and refuse delivery .. then it took 3 weeks for Samsung to receipt the item back in their warehouse and confirm to admin team that they have it back and then they issues a refund. Took 7 phone calls and follow ups including calling ANC to email Samsung with proof of return of item to their warehouse. It was a mess but got the money back a month later.

  • After reading all these comments i am thankful i listened to the guy who said buyer beware read their feedback. Sounds like way too much of a hassle and stuff around, even if the tv manages to come.

  • Hi Guys, thought I'd share this after reading all the above. I placed 2 orders via the eBay deal on 22/2 and received confirmation of shipment via eBay the next day (Frame TV & Soundbar). Just did an online chat via Samsung AU for order clarification and was told the following -

"Hi, can you please help me with information about a TV purchased via your eBay store? "

"No worries, Paul. I can definitely check that for you. Can I please have the order number?

    Gave eBay order number

"Thank you for patiently waiting, Paul. Upon checking on the status of your order, we're still waiting for the delivery order number to be generated by our warehouse. Once it has been generated, they'll be assigning a courier who will be delivering the product to your nominated address.

"Ok, thanks for your help. So the order has definitely been made and stock is available?"

Yes, Paul. It is available. You can also check this link for reference of the lead time -

    https://www.samsung.com/au/shop-faq/delivery-and-installatio…

Hope this helps everyone. Cheers Paul

    • Hmm, interesting to see some formality around the logistics and shipping:

"We are taking this opportunity to blaze a new trail within our logistics services and are embarking on a journey to upgrade our operations from the 27th February 2023 – 6th March 2023.

What this means to our valuable customers is that we will not be able to ship your orders during this period but rest assured you can still place your orders as normal. We will recommence shipping from the 7th March 2023."

So maybe we'll start to see some movement from the 7th.

      • +1

Dates have been changed to the statement linked above. Now saying 9th of March.

  • Sorry, looks like the main part the chat got cut off…

"Thank you for patiently waiting, Paul.
Upon checking on the status of your order, we're still waiting for the delivery order number to be generated by our warehouse. Once it has been generated, they'll be assigning a courier who will be delivering the product to your nominated address.

    • I phoned Samsung to follow up on the delivery date and received the same response - they are waiting for the warehouse to generate an order number. No ETA however. I asked whether it would take days, weeks or months and the rep had no clue.

      • Hey Jimmy, what's your current status on the DB schenker website?

        • Order cancelled

      • Update: Contacted Samsung again for an update.
Was told via online chat the order number has been generated.
"It was already generated in the main warehouse; after that, they will assign a courier to deliver it to the local warehouse in VIC, then once again assign a courier to deliver it to you directly from the local warehouse"

I'm pretty hopeful that the TV will come eventually, sounds like Samsung is having some logistic issues.

    • Hey Paul, what's your current status on the DB Schenker website? Is it "Sales Order created for warehouse outbound" or do you have nothing?

        • Sales Order created for warehouse outbound 2023/02/23, 15:00 YENNORA , NSW -

        • Order Cancelled 2023/02/28, 10:19 YENNORA , NSW

        • That's so confusing! So is your order cancelled or not?

          • +1

@Raymond92: It seems the automated tracking has been cancelled.

They are implementing a new system from the 27th to the 6th of March. I'd hope the new system with another courier send new tracking from mid March

This is purely speculative. My order tracking is cancelled like above but Samsung still has the order and will hopefully start fulfilling orders from the 7th of March.

            • @Skearn: That actually makes alot of sense! Hopefully you're right.

  • update on my q80b (profanity) this company will gladly spend my money elsewhere

    https://imgur.com/a/2dyNreX

    • Was that samsung chat? Because you didn't talk to a robot a like agent for the first time

      • im honestly not sure if it was ai or some dumb person, but ill be happy to go get a x90j this arvo

  • FYI, jumped on the Samsung AU just now, spoke to a human, gave them my ebay order number and got my order cancelled and refunded without any issue

    • Did you get any confirmation? I actually got a reference number and nothing else. No email. EBay still says paid.

      • Not yet, will update when I do. They said I will be getting some confirmations

        • Hope we both do. No confidence to be honest. I saved the chat transcript to be safe.

    • Did they say that it cannot be cancelled initially? I'm having some issues with them, they are saying that they could not cancel since delivery order has been made. But no couriers has been assigned. Also the rep said that honestly they don't have an idea how its going to be handled but still they couldn't cancel my order. Did you call them?

      • IM for me. But mine is just sitting in paid stage. No progression since day 1.

        • +1

Me too, went with IM. tried for 2 days, they escalated to cancel the shipping. But I got assurance that I can return this item just in case if it gets delivered. Even their reps don't have an idea, looks like some serious mess what they are going through now. Ebay also confirmed that I can raise a return request if it gets delivered.

  • +1

    My update. Absolute shitshow confirmed.

Samsung has cancelled my order. They cannot refund me, as the payment was collected via Ebay.

Ebay can't refund me because the order shows active, and the Ebay store is away till whenever.

    Samsung can't help.
    Ebay can't help.

Good times. I give up for today. I'm tired boss.

    • I hope they don’t cancel my sound bar, I bought two, but ANC cancelled my orders, now not sure what happen, if they refund me I will have to live with the eBay gift cards I bought which I don’t want :(

      • When did you place your order and which sound bars?

    • Did you ask Samsung to cancel or did they cancel themselves?

      • I cancelled due to their shipping delays. I wat was only 2 cheap soundbars, so figured screw it

        • So you cancelled the orders ? in your previous post you said "Samsung has cancelled my order."

if you cancelled, then yes its a shitshow .. Samsung are terrible with any changes once the order process starts … been there.

          • @Omarko: Just the way I wrote it may have got this confused.

I jumped on the chat for Samsung AU to ask them to cancel the order, which they did.

However, now I'm stuck in limbo until the ebay store is now longer away or something happens that updates my ebay order to cancelled. At this stage, it seems that I will wait until the 30 days has passed beyond the expected delivery date, and then put in a claim against them. Good times.

            • @boondocksaint: Same. Will be happy when I see cancelled on eBay. Will be weeks I am sure.

  • Well my ANC tracking info is officially cancelled today.
    Delivery was due tomorrow.

This seems to be a big L by samsung.

    • Same here. Delivery was booked for tomorrow.

      From ANC tracking page:
      "Your tracking request was unsuccessful.
Please contact your place of purchase to reschedule.

      Reason: Job not found"

    • +1

That sucks! I still low key think Samsung will fulfill the orders. But finding a new courier to deliver which will take time zzz …

      • Shouldnt take more then a day to organise a courier service

        • Shouldn't but this is Samsung's standard lol

    • i am on same boat…ANC tracking is gone.

      • I have talked to Samsung live chat and request cancellation. They said they can not cancel, but can request stop shipping and refund. Not sure what the difference is, but as long i can get refund i am ok. The refund process will take 30 days the Samsung guy claims over the chat, and gave me a reference number.

        • I was told in the same chat:

        • My order shown cancelled now on samsung online tracking. No refund has been issued yet.

    • Confirm this is what happend to me too

  • +4

My ANC delivery is confirmed for tomorrow between 8am and 11am. I am based near Sydney, around 20 or so minutes from Yennora.

    Wish me luck boys!

    • Have gotten a confirmation too, 7am - 10am here. Sydney around 30 mins from Yennora

      • Same here … tracking still shows between 11-2pm

        Fingers crossed!!

        • well, the tracking now says cancelled … great … what next?

      • Mine now cancelled too, this is going well!

    • ANC delivery cancelled just now, quoting no stock. Looks like they went to pick it up but the no TVs were at Yennora. Shitshow confirmed, now to contact Samsung to figure it out! Yay

      • I wonder if there was no tvs, or no tv of that model?

I was a late comer to the deal and didnt place an order till like 430pm.

Started reading about the shit show on here so I jumped onto the chat yesterday to find out what the go is and they confirmed they had stock of that model.

I'm happy to wait it out and see what happens

      • Same response as others:
"I'm sorry for the delay on your order. Please be advised that your order status shows as shipping preparation , and we're waiting for the order to be dispatched from the warehouse. Since based on ANC, the job order requested to them was cancelled and our back-office will look for another courier to deliver this item to you. Usually, the lead time for the order to deliver is within 3 to 15 business days excluding public holidays on your area at New South Wales."

I am trying to get them to confirm whether they have stock available - on the Samsung.com store website they say the 65" QN85B is out of stock.

    • I'm also 20mins away from yennora…and got a cancellation notice when I clicked on the sms link. It was reported as due to be delivered on 3rd which then changed to today and is now cancelled. Gonna just wait and see. At the very least they can have some negative feedback. Let's see how far we can get their eBay rating down to.

      • Timestamp at 9:34am on 23rd. I "bought first and asked questions later".

  • Just got a message from ANC confirm delivery today… but no one is home ??

    • WTFFFFF. Was anyone home? Usually they would give you a ring beforehand?

    • I got a similar message this afternoon about delivery later today . Then it was cancelled and I had this message : Your tracking request was unsuccessful.
Please contact your place of purchase to reschedule.

      • same, just check again and now I got this “Your tracking request was unsuccessful.
Please contact your place of purchase to reschedule.”

Seriously this is second time they ask me to contact Samsung directly, I have already informed Samsung last week to request for re delivery and Samsung said they would escalate to back office. I really have no time to explain to Samsung again what has happened! They really sucks!

  • +1

Bought the item on 23rd Feb 9:49 AM 65-inch Q70b TV. On 28th Feb, received two delivery confirmation sms from Samsung Australia. Delivery was confirmed for tomorrow (7th Mar) by ANC b/w 8am and 11am. But ANC delivery tracking link is not working anymore and giving below message:

Your tracking request was unsuccessful. Please contact your place of purchase to reschedule.
    Reason: Job not found
    Job number: n/a
    Customer name: n/a

So called ANC and as per them Samsung has cancelled all deliveries and advised me to contact Samsung Australia for further assistance.

Although, DB Schenker status says as “Sales Order created for warehouse outbound. 2023/02/24, 12:00, YENNORA, NSW” under shipment status history. Ebay tracking order detail says “Arriving by Tue 4 Apr”

So, I did the online chat with Samsung Australia agent via website. He mentioned:
    a) “As per checking, as you have not received any updates on this concern, I will be going to raise this for a follow-up. You will be going to receive an update from our back office regarding your order within the minimum of 2 business days and maximum of 10 business days.”
    b) Upon further questioning, he mentioned that “For this concern, please be advised that the reason as to why I am going to raise the order for a follow up is because the latest update that we have on our end is that your order is still being prepared to be allocated. Rest assured that once the item is ready, you will be going to receive an update from both our back office and the courier.”

Then I called Samsung Australia @ 1300 362 603. Provided eBay order number, tracking number and item number along with my personal details but they couldn’t locate the order with any of those details and kept transferring my call to next departments. In the end, a person created the escalation to case manager, provided the escalation number and said back-office case manager will contact me in 2 days to 10 days’ time. Also, advised me to contact eBay to check if they can locate the order. Ridiculous and pathetic customer service…wasted 2 hours of my life with no solution. Don’t know what will happen to my order and when will I get my money back.

    • Same here, ANC cancelled shipment this afternoon, delivery was supposed to be tomorrow. Contacted Samsung via chat they said order isnt cancelled, just the ANC shitshow.

"As per checking here the status of the order is already shipping preparation and just to set your expectation the delivery lead time in NSW is 3-15 business days in metro and 5-30 business days in regional"

All I can do is wait for new courier to contact me, guess 2 weeks?

      • Did samsung chat managed to locate your oder? in my case both samsung chat and call, couldnot find the order

        • Yes, use the "Order number" in your ebay invoice, under Order info.

          • @Bid Sniper: The couldn't verify mine for a start as they said the mobile # was different or some rubbish!

            • @boxall: Double check if your ebay number is an old one. I accidentally left my old hoke number on ebay.

              • @Raymond92: I got a Samsung cancellation confirm in chat and a reference number. Just don’t trust them one bit.

          • @Bid Sniper: Gave them all info i.e order number, item number, tracking numner, mobile, email, address but they couldnot find anything. As per them ebay order number starting with 19* is not helpful.

            • @toyapple9: The other thing I did was chat on the Samsung website but made sure I was logged in, so they had my details.

I gave them both order number and Tracking no

dbschenker site still shows the sale

  • +3

If Samsung end up cancel everyone’s order, can we all leave a negative feedback on their eBay store and report them to eBay ? They are holding a lot of our money getting free interest. I lose confidence that we will end up getting item.

    • +3

I'll be doing more than that - social media complaints and emails to Samsung Australia Wholesale!

    • +1

      WE CAN DO IT! 👍

  • My delivery through ANC was scheduled for today. Tracking disappeared last night :(. Called ANC this morning and they've said "Samsung has put a hold on all deliveries as the warehouse is being moved". WTF??

    • +2

This is direct from the Samsung website.

"We are taking this opportunity to blaze a new trail within our logistics services and are embarking on a journey to upgrade our operations from the 27th February 2023 – 8th March 2023.

What this means to our valuable customers is that we will not be able to ship your orders during this period but rest assured you can still place your orders as normal. We will recommence shipping from the 9th March 2023."

Not sure if that involved a new warehouse or what. It's all a bit weird. And then again, whether or not this particular Samsung "outlet" is the same or what.

      • +2

They must have updated the relocation date. Last time i checked, they say they will recommence shipping from the 7th March 2023.

Still hoping my TV will show up somehow. No update on ebay nor samsung from their chat :(

      • I think this sounds like corporate speak to euphemise a shit show as some have called it.

        • In my chat with Samsung there were so many examples of avoidant corporate speak:
"your item is currently on stock issue"
          "we don't have back-office visibility"
"your delay was caused by production demand"
"your order shows as shipping preparation"

JUST ADMIT YOU DONT HAVE STOCK DAMMIT

        Be positive… Be positive… Be positive…

        • Wowwwwwwwww. and the goal-posts keep changing….

    • +1

I actually question whether it is ANCs fault. If they are really terrible delivery partners then Samsung would have turfed them already. They could be telling the truth that there's no stock or that samsung inventory is in shambles. Just food for thought.

      • +2

In my case, it can't be ANC's fault.

They went to Samsung's warehouse location to pick up my order and it wasn't there; they went as far as to take a photo of their printed order and write 'NO STOCK' underneath it.

This all happened an hour before my delivery window (7:02AM vs 8:00 AM-11:00AM delivery window), so there seems to be genuine intent to complete the delivery as booked.

I'm sure they're annoyed as we are, although I imagine they still get paid…

  • -1

Looks like no one, not a single order full filled from this ebay Sales.

  • +4

Look, I'm in two minds about this:
    (1) I am annoyed because they shut the store down and their courier whom confirmed delivery today, didnt deliver due to no stock. Further to this, no one at Samsung can confirm I'm actually going to receive my order, and as of a few days ago, Samsung's own online store dropped prices on these models, which means stock for my particular order is probably all gone.

    (2) On the other hand, the original eBay posting said delivery will occur between 28 Mar-4 Apr, and we are many weeks away from that range. We haven't even exceeded Samsung Australia's own delivery expectations (3-15 business days from initial order), and so the other part of me is trying to keep patient and optimistic.

I'll wait it out (I don't have any other choice really), but it's been a total nightmare from a customer experience. My guess is that there's nothing wrong with these items (i.e. no box damage) however they just wanted to let go of some stock that is now clearance. They happened to do this during a logistics upgrade and that has caused chaos behind the scenes as their transition between old and new systems is causing disruption for them, their courier ANC and us customers. No doubt someone will lose their job over this!

    • thats a great write up and fair assumptions on what has transpired … same here, AND delivery scheduled 11-2pm and got cancelled … I dont have the time or energy to call Samsung or ANC … will wait and see what happens. Will update here as soon as I know whats going on.

To everyone else, pls keep this thread updated …

    • +2

Yep, they said a month, they were up front about that, so cant be salty.

      • +1

In a previous life I've worked in wholesale electronic goods.
We typically had the ability to re-order stock when it ran out, even older items, with a lead time of 10 or so days for shipping from operational centres.
I would assume that Samsung Australia has this ability as well, and so if they truly run out of local stock, they should be able to locate alternative supplies from operational centres in other countries.
This is also why I am also clinging onto hope here.

        • So the boxes may not be damaged as well?

          • +2

@jackking: No, I don't believe so, and others earlier in this discussion have said they have previously purchased "damaged box" items and they have been fine.
The fact that everything is being treated as a typical Samsung direct order also indicates this.
I imagine slapping "Damaged box" in the title and selling quickly via eBay gets Samsung Australia out of trouble here; if Good Guys or JB Hifi complains about them selling direct to customers at such low prices they can turn around and say "the goods were damaged".

        • Certainly think this is what's happening, pay lower price so something has to give. They said a month lead time, so I'm prepared to wait a month. To me TV is worth more than what I paid, so will shut up and wait. Thats what the deal was when I pressed buy

Same thing happening with Mercedes ebike, shitshow but now they've posted the bike, one month later. Again, item is worth more to me to what i paid.
