Does anyone know if the 55q80b uses a different panel to the 65 inch? Lots of conflicting info on the web and YouTube.
I believe the 50 and 85" use a VA panel, the rest use IPS ADS panel which is a shame I bought the 75" q80b so a bit disappointed. Only myself to blame with my buy first worry latter approach.
Yep I read that one and then I read somewhere else that all use VA except the 55. Just weird.

they were around the $1500 or even 11-1200 mark was heavily considering one but i wanted to upgrade screen size for myself
55qn85bs were $1250 so I assume $1500. Same price as tcl 65c835. So not too unhappy.

Did your order say that it had been shipped? Or just that the sales order had been created?
eBay order was marked as shipped but tracking only ever indicated the sales order had been created. What about you?

Ordered the 75inch Q80B. Sent a request to cancel the order over the weekend via eBay. Checked Shipping Status and Shows order cancelled today, not sure if this is coincidence or they have cancelled on my request. eBay status is unchanged. No confirmation from eBay Samsung, So perhaps it was going to be cancelled regardless of my request I'm unsure.

@boxall: Done a little more research after the purchase "the Ozbargain way". It seemed to me that reviews didn't favour Black levels and Blooming was apparent could be because it uses an IPS ADS panel. I know this would be the case with most QLED TVs. But I don't need great viewing angles and don't game. So I might hold out for the TCL 835 which has a VA panel I believe, or may wait and go OLED don't really need 75inch just being greedy.
@arsenal1: if my q80b cancels ill go out same day and get a c835 its what ive been researching for the best part of 4 months and its exactly everything i was looking for
@bob98: Sorry. I did compare the two pictures yesterday though. :-)
Samsung advantages: 4 hdmi 2.1 ports and great Samsung soundbar integration. Bit nicer to look at physically, Xbox gaming support. Was also a $2300 TV
TCL advantages: mini-led. Better picture noticeably so, 3 year warranty, Dolby vision support, google tv as an interface. VA Screen. But someone would say it is rubbish because it is TCL.
Tough call but I am happy with my decision.
@boxall: thanks mate I really appreciate it. for reference how many HDMI 2.1s does the tcl have? I'm wanting to connect the Xbox x and ps5 so that's really why I jumped on the 80b so quickly. but speaking from experience I've had terrible luck with Samsung products in the past mostly the old boys 70-85 inch tvs over the last 5-10 years. but I've got a mate who works in head office now so warranty claims should be a breeze but fingers crossed I don't need the warranty
was the picture $8-900 better? as I've got to get a 75 inch

Yep mine says "Order Cancelled - 2023/02/27, 9:58" on the DB Schenker page.
No mention of cancellation on the eBay page.
Also ordered the S95B and got the same "Order Cancelled' from the tracking page with no update on eBay. Im going to shoot them a message too, but would love to hear if they give you an update!

I also saw the same response on my Samsung online order for the soundbar which was due for delivery from last week. Interesting to see that I received the shipping notification from ANC delivery today morning and it will be scheduled to deliver tomorrow.
Yeah I just received a text message from ANC delivery indicating it's scheduled for delivery for Thursday. Noting the DB Schenker tracking hasn't changed.
I have two active orders, one with Samsung website and other one is with eBay DB Schenker. No update on the eBay one yet but Samsung one will be delivered tomorrow. Fingers crossed for the eBay order :D

@Raymond92: I'm not sure, sorry. My ANC connote # does appear to be similar to the ebay tracking number they provided with a HME in front of it (eg, ebay tracking number = 715xxxxxxx & and the ANC is HME715xxxxxxx).

Got a text asking to contact ANC as delivery date is not available. Called ANC they told me they no longer do delivery for Samsung and ask me to call Samsung. Called Samsung and they can locate the item but said delivery company cancel the delivery. Now they said they will escalate to back office to get it re-delivery. Just ridiculous they didn’t even try to deliver the item and just said delivery date not available. Awful experience. Samsung really suck at customer service

tbh the tcl sounds like the better tv, only reason i didnt buy the 75 was i saved $800 with the q80b
