    Google Pixel 7 Pro - 128GB $869.10, 256GB $1004.10, 512GB $1139.10

    • +1

I think this is the right price for them as well!
I have the 7 Pro and amazing phone all round!

      • +1

        100%, $869 is a fantastic deal considering this is a high-end device.

I did find the regular Pixel 7 to be a lint magnet and bar of slippery soap, though - YMMV. I've sinced switched to the Pixel 7a and the plastic back is sooo much better for me.

StudentBeans generates the code every hour, UNIDAYS is every day

      • +1

Just a quick update: currently the wait time is until 8:35pm haha
Happy to continue to accept requests if you don’t mind waiting :)

        • Are these able to be used when not eligible for our own UNIDAYS account?

      • +1

        Thanks BG

      • just dm-d. ty

    • Wouldn't it be $900 after 10% student or unidays discount on $999?

      • +2

It discounts the 10% off the RRP price :)

        • Wow

    • Will officeworks price beat the discounted prices after further 10% off?

      • +1

Unfortunately not, they work off the advertised retail price (before the use of discount codes and coupons). Tried myself.

  • 256GB in Hazel Green colourway would have been so great !

  • +3

Good deal. Would jump if my OnePlus 8 Pro isn't still going strong after 3 years

    • My OnePlus 6 is struggling after 4.5 years. Idk if i should jump on these EOFY sales or hold on till Black Friday…

  • -5

    Fouyohhh nice deal!

(Haiyaaa detected as possible sockpuppeting when trying to upvote?!)

  • Pixel 6a $440 after studentbeans

  • Is the Pixel watch worth it at the discounted price + unidays/student beans?

    • +3

No, crap battery and Fitbit subscription required to really use it.

  • Honestly my fave android device (back on iphone) of the last year
that is a good price point for 512gb considering it is the best camera on the market

  • Is there a ETA for the Pixel 8? Still running with the Pixel 5 here, great phone and very happy with it, but pinning all my future hopes on Lucky 8.

    • +1

      October

      • Yeah I need a phone now but with October so close I'm trying to wait this out.

Flat screens (in pro model) is a huge plus for me, I'm sick and tired of curved, and I hear there are many performance improvements plus some camera refresh options coming. Not that I think anything is wrong with the 7 range, especially at these prices. But I think I'll wait with only 3 months left.

        • +1

Yeah, I'd wait it out. 10% with the student deals is always available, plus the 10% credit back is always available. Plus for free order they normally offer $150-200 credit.

So yeah, or definitely wait it out, the 8 seems like a nice upgrade, the 7 is just a slightly refined 6.

          • +1

@Binchicken22: My thoughts exactly. I checked the pre-order deals of the 7 Pro and it wasn't much more expensive than this deal when all discounts/credits were applied. So if the 8 Pro doesn't jump in price too much then it shouldn't be too much of a premium to jump in on the October pre-order. A small premium for some big upgrades.

  • +1

Been really happy with my pixel 7 pro that I got from JB when they did flash sale
    Cameras are fantastic especially

    • What was the price you got it at? Ta

      • +1

$891 was the price, then i took another $45 off with discounted gift cards

  • +3

Still not cheap enough for a tighta$$ like me.

    • isn't that a cheaper / better deal?

  • +1

    Screen replacement cost $545, insane

I paid $599 from HN after discounts last year for a 7 Pro.

  • +1

Just wondering why is memory on a phone so expensive?

    $150 to jump from 128 to 256?

    • +11

      because they can

      • I thought this may be the case.

I know Apple and Samsung do this but disappointing that Google do too

    • +4

It's part of the reason microSD slots have been going away, so they can charge a premium for extra storage.

    • They saw Apple getting away with it and got on the bandwagon.

  • +7

I have one and I have regrets. Screen on time is subpar at best. Buggy software and glitches I've never experienced with Samsung phones - the most annoying one is the auto rotate. After several patches, it's getting there but the auto-rotate can still play up sometimes. Not recommended.

Just get Samsung or Sony if you're after an Android.

P/S: camera is excellent but videos aren't hot if the scene is complex - doesn't hold a candle to iPhone when it comes to taking videos.

    • +1

Sony? Interesting recommendation, rarely hear about them nowadays

      • Sony still makes flagships, there's one with an sd card and headphone jack, yet people don't seem to care too much about it.

        • That's because they have exited the Australian market. The only way to get one is a grey import, which is a hard sell for most people.

    • what sony phone in particular?

  • -1

Barely a bargain. Paid $1139 (256GB) seven months ago from JB

    • Getting 512 GB for the same price of $1139 (after 10% code from unidays) now. So it's definitely a deal to me.

      • -4

I was responding to this post and price from Google

        • Google offer is great but OZbargainers always try to stack up codes on top of sellers deals. That's how we get a true deal

          • -3

@krish955: Your comment got unpublished by the mods because that wasn't part of this deal. Stop trying so hard

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: Lol, that's me asking for 10% codes. Thats why its unpublished. You don't try too hard. This was a deal and you can see the upvotes

  • Does the Google One 10% store credit and 10% unidays discount stack?

    • +5

Yes. I ordered the 7a a month ago and reduced the price to $675 with Uni discount and also received the 10% store credit. With the current sale +$150 bonus credit Ive grabbed the buds pro without spending more now!

  • +2

Please! Put your coupon codes in the dedicated thread, thank you. This thread for discussion only.

    8 is coming

    • +2

So is the Pixel 8a, and the Pixel 9, and the Pixel 9a. Facts

Just buy at a good price when it suits you instead of always waiting for the latest and greatest

  • Does it take two physical SIM cards?

    • +2

      No. Physical + eSim only.

  • Get the 7 pro cheap or wait for the 8 ? arghh tough decision

    • +1

I have the P7P and it's a great phone but I'd wait for the P8P. All-new primary camera coming and Pixel's are all about the camera.

      • Probably going to be 500 or so more than this deal though, at least to start with.

    • When will the 8 be released?

      • +1

October it seems. But there is always new toy coming out each year..

        • I wouldn't wait that long. I am considering this pixel 7 pro or the samsung s23 ultra.

    • +4

Just buy at a good price when it suits you - there's little difference these days.

      • -1

hi mate. gonna buy it TODAY to offset my taxable income. can you please advise how google one 10% works? need turkish VPN?

  • -1

Skipping I'm fine with my great fingerprint sensor on Pixel 5 and I can also use magic eraser + unlimited HQ uploads free of charge

    • Final OS update this year. No more major android updates but only security.

      • Totally fine by me still best value

  • What are the competitor phones to this one?

Annoying that it doesn't have an SD card slot

    • Iphone

      • Well if that's it, that makes the decision easy since I want an android phone

        • Biggest Android competitor is Samsung. Closest equivalent model being probably the S23+ or S23 Ultra, both of which cost way more than this (Outright).
The only notable phones still rocking SD card slots are Sony (No longer sold in Australia) and the lower end Samsungs like A54

  • 7 pro 128gb is 949 at Telstra. isn't it a better deal?
