    I had those free months several times. Every time I tried it once, got sick of not finding anything interesting that was included, without requiring payment. Oh, and it’s totally not transparent what is included or not when you just browse in the main menu.

    Piece of junk! That’s why they keep on trying to fish for those customers that forget to cancel.

        You can, by going to the "Apple TV+" tab. The default tab shows you everything, I think maybe because one of Steve Jobs' last projects was for a streaming portal that had everything in it. It's very annoying, but it is also kind of nice to have all of your "up next" stuff right there, for when you forget to open Binge for a while and forget what you were watching in it.

        I think Prime Video has removed the "free to me" filter from their app, so it's not as bad as that at least.

      Within the Apple TV app you need to go to the Apple TV+ tab to see all the "Apple TV" stuff. Amazon Prime Video works in a similar way where it constantly shows you stuff from other apps, though the Apple TV app will show you everything in the iTunes movie/TV store and everything in every other streaming app you have installed.

      So just remember to go to the Apple TV+ tab to see all the "Apple TV" stuff.

      Yes. I use Chrome browser. There seems to be no direct app.

      Which is weird because WebOS, and Google Chromecast with Google TV both have working ATV+ apps, so it's definitely not hard to port to Android.

      I had done same on prior (once through earlier macbook, then apple tv and some follow up devices + ps5 6 months offer) occasions since around early 2020. But this one did not work for me and said "have redeemed maximum of such codes". So I think at some point you will hit the limit. This however did work on wife's apple account. So definitely they have account based limits imposed.

      I think they just wanted people to try it on back then hook up into the subscription (people have poor habits with managing subscriptions to unwanted things) and as long as people kept coming back they would not have bothered it. Now that it's got a good enough collection and is growing, they may be becoming bit more serious on these things.

    apple tv is trash. only good series is foundation. you can easily watch that in a few days. everything else is just a waste of time.

      I wouldn't say it's trash, the series I watched would usually have me hooked but the endings would always leave me wanting more answers and felt kind of unfinished like Hijack for example.

    To be honest, I would pay 20 bucks a year like it is through Apple India.

    It's just a pain in the ass to set up an Apple ID through India and do all the work.

    Going by the trailer I'm a little worried it'll be rubbish compared to Band of Brothers and The Pacific though.

      HBO Lost $200 million or so on The Pacific , as it didn’t prove to be as popular as Band of Brothers .
      It may be that they’ve had to scale back to achieve some form of profitability with Apple , but let’s hope not .
      I’m expecting a pretty rich and CGI Heavy series ,
      otherwise it will end up looking like a B-Grade movie .

      Pretty sure the trial only works for the first instance of a new Apple product you buy.

      I have bought iPhone, iPad, AirPods etc over the years and have only gotten one free trial out of one Apple product.

    Worked for another email address. Didnt work with two previous accounts both of which were cancelled off last freebies maybe two months ago.
    Fwiw Apple TV has better variety (Foundation, Silo and Tulsa are very good.Havent watched Severance yet.Mayor of Kingstown was a big pos …imho)and their own series are more solid than Paramount (get it for ST only) and Disney (easily the worst if you dont like SW or MCU)
