[Pre Order] Samsung Galaxy S24 + Tablet/Buds/Watch + Samsung Care from $882.58 (with Non-Return Trade-in) @ Samsung EDU & App

2521
GALAXYAI

There's the generic deal page but I thought I'd post this separately because of trade-in shenanigans.

Update: Looks like most addons are OOS.

Update 2: Well done, y'all have managed to clean out most of Samsung EDU Australia Mobile. Stay safe and stay inside, UV Index through the moon most days 🌚

Note: If you don't want to bother with the app, just order using your PC. You'll lose out on the 5% off extra which isn't too bad.

Alrighty.

Part 1:
1) Download the Samsung Shop App
2) In settings switch to the EDU account
If you've already used the first mobile order discount, you can create a new EDU account. For example if you signed up with Samsung EDU directly then use UniDays to make a new account or vice versa.

Part 2:
1) On the mobile app add an S24 256GB to cart
2) Select the free 1 year Samsung Care
3) Select nothing to trade in (we'll do this later)
4) In the next page it'll ask you to add extra stuff. Add your addons as desired as per the deal combination section after these instructions.
5) On the checkout page input the GALAXYAI voucher.

Part 3)
1) Download the Samsung Trade In app on your phone. Edit: You can also do this directly during check out. Select "I am new to trade in" on check out.
2) Go through the promts, and make sure to select SCREEN CRACKED. This ensures your device value is $1 so you pay $30 non-return fee; if your device tradein value is more than $30 then you pay $60. This is because you are NOT sending in your device to Samsung.
3) Obtain trade-in code

Part 4) Redeem bonus trade-in code
1) Check out and pay the amount with the 5% off mobile.

Deal #1: Galaxy S24 + Galaxy Tab S9 for $1558.03 OOS

The maths:

(S24 $1119.20 + Tab S9 $1039.20 - $100 eVoucher - $200 GALAXYAI code - $250 trade in bonus - $1 device value) * 0.95 mobile app 5% off = $1527.03

Now you'll be charged a non-return fee after I think 2 weeks after your stuff is delivered = $30 non-return fee + $1 device value = $31

Total $1527.03 + $31 = $1558.03

Deal #2: Galaxy S24 + Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus for $1330.03 OOS

Cost works out to be:
(S24 $1119.20 + Tab S9 FE Plus $799.20 - $100 eVoucher - $200 GALAXYAI code - $250 trade in bonus - $1 device value) * 0.95 mobile app 5% off = $1299.03

Non-return fees = $30 + $1 = $31

Total $1330.03.

Deal #3: Galaxy S24 + 3 x Galaxy Buds FE + 25W Charger for $882.58 OOS

Yes this deal involves buying THREE Galaxy Buds FEs

Follow same instructions as above but instead of the tablet add 3 x Galaxy Buds FE and a 25W Charger.

(S24 $1119.20 + 3 x Buds FE $99 + 25W Charger $31.2 - $100 eVoucher - $200 GALAXYAI code - $250 trade in bonus - $1 device value) * 0.95 mobile app 5% off = $851.58

Non-return fees = $30 + $1 = $31

Total = $882.58

Go nuts flooding eBay and marketplace with the extra Buds FEs :) Or mail me one 🙃

Deal #4: Galaxy S24 + Galaxy Watch 6 40mm Bluetooth for $925.44 OOS

(S24 $1119.20 + Watch 6 $373.32 - $100 eVoucher - $200 GALAXYAI code - $250 trade in bonus - $1 device value) * 0.95 mobile app 5% off = $894.44

Non-return fees = $30 + $1 = $31

Total = $925.44

Deal #5: Galaxy S24 + Galaxy Tab S9 FE for $1140.03 OOS

Cost works out to be:
(S24 $1119.20 + Tab S9 FE Plus $599.20 - $100 eVoucher - $200 GALAXYAI code - $250 trade in bonus - $1 device value) * 0.95 mobile app 5% off = $1109.03

Non-return fees = $30 + $1 = $31

Total $1140.03

Deal #6: Galaxy S24 + 4 x Galaxy Buds FE for $946.99 OOS

Yes this deal involves buying FOUR Galaxy Buds FEs

Follow same instructions as above but instead of the tablet add 4 x Galaxy Buds FE.

(S24 $1119.20 + 3 x Buds FE $99 + 25W Charger $31.2 - $100 eVoucher - $200 GALAXYAI code - $250 trade in bonus - $1 device value) * 0.95 mobile app 5% off = $915.99

Non-return fees = $30 + $1 = $31

Total = $946.99

Go nuts flooding eBay and marketplace with the extra Buds FEs :) Or mail me one 🙃

  • Well looks like the Shop app screwed up when I placed my order and didn't include the free Care+ for some reason.

    • -1

Did you cancel it by accident? 🤣

      • nope, not listed in the cancelation email for the accessories.
It's listed in the original order email but not on the invoice when I check online so I have NFI what happened to it.

        • do you think you would ever use the care+?

    • +1

      It is useless anyway

    • +1

Even if you swap the device you need to pay a fee plus they only swap refurbished unit so not worth it

      • I definitely will use the samsung care for the mobile refresh service 1 day before it is over. $99 for new screen, battery and detailed device clean is worth it. way cheaper than a normal wash for my car.

        • You pay too much for a car wash then.

  • where i can get CME-Voucher ?

  • Ok, stupid questions incoming, as I have been too busy to check this over the weekend. 1) Which part of this deal is over, as I can still see the phones in the edu store, and when I tested, the codes seemed to work too? 2) For the trade-in offer, do you actually need to have an eligible device to return, or can you just select something, with no intention of actually returning it? 3) If this offer is not actually available anymore, what is the next best way to get the S24 Ultra? Thank you!

    • 1) The GALAXYAI voucher gives now extra $100 worth of accessories instead of $200
      2) It is up to you if you want to trade-in to send an eligible device or pay the value of trade in + admin fees up to $60
      3) This is still the best offer to go
      Good luck

      • Does anyone know if cancelling the accessories means the price will be reduced and not just no free accessories?

        • I just received a cancellation email stating the cancelled items reduced value (It's share from the accessories voucher.

      • Thank you! I just wanted to clarify, that with question 2) I meant whether there is process to verify that the supposed trade-in device is an actual, existing device, like do I have to run an app on it, provide an actual IMEI or something else. Or can the trade-in device be wholly imaginery, with no proof and no intention of ever sending it to them?

        • I had to provide an IMEI

        • IMEI is required. The T&C says you have to own the phone so while there are ways around it, you are breaching the T&C if you don't own the phone.

  • Hi ozbargainers, could someone please clarify the process exactly to cancel the accessories? I only see “cancel order” which says it will refund the full order amount?

    • +1

When I click 'Cancel Order' or 'Cancel' - it's gone now, as saying it's shipped - I get a list of all the items in the order and can tick individual items and choose a reason.

      • +2

You can refund accessories within 14 days of delivery, same result

        • -4

And then you have to send them back?

    • +1

Just a heads up - if you contact them on Live Chat to ask to cancel the watch, they won't let you and say it's part of a "bundle deal". They instead offer to cancel the whole order.

  • -1

    Hey all,
This query is for Corporate partner store. What if I select tradein and do not send the device? Would samsung deduct bonus amount in addition to tradein value and 60$?

    • Asurion now takes the trade in value as a security deposit from your card when you fill out the trade in details. If you don't hand it in, they keep the security deposit and I assume you will be charged $60 as well.

  • Guys, check your order status, mine has been dispatched today, ETA Monday.

    • Mine as well, and I cancelled my accessories as well beforehand, so Im quite nervous for samsung to cancel the whole items 🙃

    • @noodlefan Does yours say 'shipped' or 'on the way'? And did they give you any tracking?

      • It says 'On the way', click Track Item can see the tracking number, Auspost says ETA Monday.

        • Mine just says Shipped.

        • Mine just says shipped and no tracking info, just 'get it by 30 Jan' - oh well. Hopefully it will arrive early in the week still!

          • +1

@Marcuspt: Mine was shipped for a day or two then went to 'On the way' with a tracking number. You can see that extra status through Web not app.

            • +1

@albot: Ahh thanks for the tip. Logged in on the web and it's still on "Shipped" with no tracking number. Hopefully it'll move to "On the way" and have a tracking number added tomorrow.

        • @noodlefan Did yours arrive? Also, did you get a refund for the accessories cancellation? If so, how long till it was applied back to your credit card?

          • +1

@AskingForAFriend: Phone arrived on Monday, about 1 hour after delivery got email from PayPal mentions refund received.

  • I notice the option is still available to cancel the Galaxy Buds in my order. You just have to click 'cancel order', tick the checkbox for the buds, and the button to proceed becomes available again.

Any sage advice out there if this will still work (keeping phone, but cancelling buds), and how Samsung process Afterpay transcations when it comes to refunds?

    • Wondering the same thing, a few days ago I cancelled my add-ons with the buds and screen protector. They are done successfully now and awaiting dispatch on the phone and case, but haven't heard anything about the refund through Afterpay yet. I'm guessing that will all be sorted when they review and ship the order off.

      • Phone was just delivered - no accessories, so assume they will reconcile now.

      • My refund was auto processed. Takes 3-5 business days.
        S24 + 3 x Buds FE + Charger = $824.08
        Cancelled 3 x Buds FE & Charger = $228.58
        $228.58 was refunded.
        Phone cost is $595.50.

  • Anyone ordered on 19 Jan s24 ultra 512gb grey still awaiting dispatch?

    • Yes which is annoying. Picked the titanium blue. Not sure if its got to do with the exclusive colour

      • I know, considering most have already receive theirs today

      • I ordered 2 exclusive colours and both still not dispatched. Must be to do with exclusive coloues it looks like.

    • same here, awaiting dispatch. I ordered Titanium Orange.

    • I am still awaiting as well for the same one.

    • Same situation for me. Although there has always been a message there saying "start shipping from 30/01/2024" and that hasn't changed yet

      • +3

I did call them and was told online exclusive orders are made to order. Takes 10 business days. If only I knew this before ordering.

        • I order the orange colour too. Now I have all have to wait. - (

    • No further details but the app says shipped now!

    • Ordered same as you, still awaiting dispatch and hopeful refund for accessories

  • Hey guys , anyone know if GALAXYAI code is multiple use under a single corporate account? I’m after 2 x s24’s and looks like I get more accessories doing 2 seperate orders.but unsure if lose the evouchers in a second order. Can’t seem to find terms on multi use.thanks

    • Single use

  • +2

Ordered titanium blue on 19/01, got email today saying updated dispatch date of 12/02

    • +1

got the same email, what a joke.. first they take a pre-order, while ordering they say will be delivered by 30th before actual release, then say start shipping from 30th and now this.. samsung service has seriously gone to shit since past few years..
and I'm not sure how I feel about them offering some of the ai features of the phone free till 2025, why are you selling it as a feature of this phone if it doesn't work without your servers

    • I ordered the blue too and got the same email.

    • Start shipping from 27/02/2024 Standard Delivery

new update on samsung orders page! what a joke!

  • Finally my 512 grey ultra shipped, order on 19 Jan, hope it arrives tomorrow

    • Is grey the online exclusive colour?

  • -1

Trade Up are asking for the device to be sent in, despite being a $1 broken screen offer.

The details of the device are all legitimate; actual broken screen, actual Pixel 5 etc, but we were hoping to keep the device to act as a Google Photos proxy.

Anyone else in the same boat?

    • +1

Don't send it in and pay the $30/$60 if you want to keep the phone.

      • None of the language in the email suggests I'm allowed to keep the device.

There's only mention of a $60 late fee, no mention of a "$30 non-return fee".

        • +2

From what I've read here, it is the same thing.

It will say $60 late fee (but is actually the no return fee) and they will end up only charging you $30 instead of the $60.

  • Ordered S24U 512GB Tit Blue on 18th.
    - Yesterday received email Kristy saying will be dispatched on 05/02.
    - Today checking the order status stating will be dispatched on 12/02.

The Pre order system is a joke. I remember a few years ago during S21 when you chose exclusive colours it stated it will be delayed dispatch. This time had no warning at all. Samsung getting worse and worse over the years.

    • Chat with Samsung and the agent seem clueless.
First they said ship at 12/02 then change to the item ready to go but just waiting the courier to pick up.

I ask which one is it then they go back to 12/2.

      • Hope you received yours. So mine they are sending all the accessories which i will get on 05th. Awaiting dispatch for the phone.🤡

  • +1

Today I ordered the S24 256GB Exynos base model (RRP $1399).
    NET TOTAL COST: $681!

    $803.05 including accessories, after stacks:
    - Education store 20%
    - 5% Samsung Shop app first time
    - $100 GALAXYAI code for accessories
    - $100 automatic preorder eVoucher for accessories
    - $250 trade-in bonus on a $1 tablet I'm not sending.

Hours later after the "order accepted" stage I cancelled the $200.80 of accessories.
    Revised total is $650.33.
Add the inevitable $31 penalty for not sending the trade-in.

    NET TOTAL COST: $681.

    Notes:
    - if you have the Samsung Shop 5%, it might be better to order $210 of accessories for cancelling. Untested, but theoretical $10 benefit.
    - could've been near $600 net, if done with the $200 GALAXYAI code within the first 3 preorder days.
    - the Samsung Arisun Trade Up app sucks, better to process the trade-in via the Samsung app/website.
I'm coming from a midrange 5+ year old Moto.

    • +1

It would have been under $600+non return fee for just the phone if done in the first 3 days.
Dont think adding an extra $10 worth of accessories doesnt make it cheaper. It just needs $200 worth of accessories before the 5% app discount.

      • Under $600 is wild! I don't think the cancelling trick was common knowledge on Ozbargain at the preorder drop, and it was different to the S23's $100 loyalty chat and 10% email code method.

        • +1

Cancelling accessories was already pretty known since S23 deals last year if you read the comments.
Not sure what the S23's $100 loyalty chat and 10% email code has anything to do with this deal or my comment though as it has nothing to do with this deal or my comment.

    • Thank you so much.

I managed to purchase it for $604 + $31 Penalty

      $874.81 Accessories included
      $269.94 Accessories cancelled

I did everything you did and on top of that used another code starts with E24 that I got from live chat that was valid for $300 accessories. I was trying to get a loyalty discount but they gave me that instead.

      • -1

Oh wow, I didn't know the S24 base had a live chat code unlike the S24U! I saw a past comment had no luck.

        I paid $650 + $31 penalty.
        Yours was $604 + $31 penalty.
So, $46 cheaper, but you had $100 greater accessories value than me. Wonder why that returned a low 46% rate rather than around 75%.

        • +1

Not too sure. Only mistake I made is I added $370 worth of accessories instead of $300 exact. I did not think it would impact the discount on the phone too much.

Another reason I can think of is, as the total value of accessories in the cart increases, higher portion of the discount gets allocated to them.

Anyways I am more than happy with the end result. Cheers!

          • @yusufay: $270 accessories discount from the original $300 is 90%, which is really high in your favour, beyond my 75% ($153). Samsung maths is weird. Anyway, congrats!

    • Received my S24 today with 63% charge (perfect level)

  • I have the phone now. I am not sure how the samsung care plus work. Do I need register online?

  • can anyone who's pre-ordered around 19th jan and sill yet to receive the phone confirm if their $1 asurion authorization for trade in has just gone away (possibly expired) ?
I can't find the $1 auth in my account and the $5 device trade in value has been charged (not exactly sure if that was also supposed to be pending, but its not showing pending anymore)

    • and the $5 device trade in value has been charged (not exactly sure if that was also supposed to be pending, but its not showing pending anymore)

They charge that, and refund when they 'approve' the phone that you send.

  • Did anyone manage to add Samsung Care+ after making the order? My phone is now delivered but it does not have Samsung Care + in the invoice, I tried rg2.samsungcareplus.com like few users suggested to get it for $1 but can't seem to get it to work. Seeing if anyone else has a similar issue?

  • Whens the next sale, I just missed it and this deal was amazing…

    • -1

Maybe EOFY. Rare to get deal stacks as great as preorders from Samsung.

  • How much late fee is being charged to everyone who didn't return the device?
