Welcome to the ultimate guide of Netflix subscriptions (Turkey Edition)

Netflix has once again rolled out a 2nd price hike for Türkiye within 4 months. Please see the statistics section below for an interesting read. Luckily, Netflix's Password Sharing restrictions still do not apply to Türkiye.

This guide is the latest updated guide I've made so far. There are 2 complete methods to sign up. Please show some love and any comments, concerns, suggestions or feedback are welcome :)

  • Turkey is no longer the cheapest country for a Netflix subscription on all tiers, after they keep increasing prices every few months.
    • However, obtaining a Turkey-based Netflix Gift Card is extremely easy and effortless, making it one of the easiest and therefore cheapest country to sign up with.
  • Pakistan is the cheapest country for all Netflix plans, however, obtaining a Pakistan-based Netflix Gift Card to sign up is almost impossible. Egypt is the next cheapest, but impossible to sign up for the same reason. If you have a bank card locally from these countries, feel free to sign up directly otherwise.

Please see @Scrooge McDeal's post for Netflix Kenya, which is slightly cheaper than Netflix Turkey. However, note that some members have had their memberships cancelled and payments refunded.

Instructions – Method #1 (Using Turkey Netflix Gift Cards)

Please read the following instructions carefully. Use this method if you want Netflix to charge your Australian debit/credit card each month OR you would like to use Turkey Netflix Gift Cards moving forward.

Part 1 - Ensure you have your Australian mobile number and debit/credit card saved in your account

Complete either steps (a) or (b), depending on your current situation, BEFORE moving to Part 2

a. If you currently have an Australian Netflix subscription:

  1. Make sure your Australian mobile number is saved and verified in your account. See this screenshot

  2. Make sure your current or new debit/credit card is saved and verified in your account. If your payment method is PayPal, remove this immediately and replace it will a debit/credit card.

  3. Once you’ve triple checked your mobile is added and verified, simply cancel your subscription and wait until the end of the renewal period (i.e. keep watching until the sub expires. Don’t let your sub go to waste since you’ve already paid for it). Once your subscription has expired, go to Part 2 or Part 3

b. If you DO NOT have a current Australian subscription:

  1. Sign up and subscribe to any Australian Netflix plan (preferably the lowest cost basic plan - don’t worry, you’ll get your money back). Do not use PayPal to sign up, it must be a debit/credit card.

  2. Once you’ve signed up, make sure your Australian mobile number is saved and verified in your account. See this screenshot

  3. Make sure your current or new debit/credit card is saved and verified in your account.

  4. Once you’ve triple checked your mobile is added and verified, go to Netflix Live Chat and tell them you “would like a full refund since you’ve changed your mind” - they usually don’t ask why but if they do make up some random excuse like “my sibling just signed up” or “you don’t want it anymore” etc. This should be a very fast step and take you only several minutes. The account cancellation will be effective immediately and the refund will arrive in a few hours or days

  5. Once your subscription has expired (should be immediate as you’ve cancelled it for a refund through live chat), go to Part 2

Part 2 - Signing up via Netflix Turkey

Please ensure your subscription has completely ended/expired before signing up to this deal (i.e. when you can no longer watch anything and Netflix asks you to resubscribe or restart your membership)

  1. Purchase a Turkey Netflix Gift Card (any value is fine, even if it's not enough to cover the full month)

Note: Choose a reputable seller and make an account so you have a record of the purchases if anything goes wrong. I recommend Turgame (I've bought Turkey Apple GC's from there and they have fast delivery (at night time AEST), they charge the same price as the gift card value and the payment gateway fee is very low) or g2a

  2. Once you’ve received your gift card, it’s time to redeem your gift card and sign up to Netflix Turkey at the same time. Make sure from Part 1 that you have not logged out. You must stay logged in to your Australian account. If you’ve logged out, please log back in now with VPN turned off (Logging into your Australian account with a VPN on gives an error)

  3. Activate a VPN service, turn it on and set it to Turkey (Istanbul is the largest city). There’s many free VPN’s if you don’t have a subscription to one. Here's a few great VPNs that work:

    Nord VPN: https://nordvpn.com/ (recommended, paid)
    Urban VPN: https://www.urban-vpn.com/ (recommended, free)
    Windscribe VPN: https://www.windscribe.com/ (recommended, free)
    Express VPN: https://www.expressvpn.com/
    PureVPN: https://www.purevpn.com/

Note: Use chrome browser plugins for these VPNs where possible

Possible Problem 1: If you use Windscribe VPN and set it to Turkey, sometimes it defaults to random serves and therefore random cities of Turkey that will give you the wrong pricing (ideally, you want Istanbul). In this case, keep turning off and on the VPN until it switches to a different server/location. Confirm the location by refreshing this page: https://whatismyipaddress.com/. If this fails, change your VPN provider.

  4. With VPN on, open a new tab and go to the following Netflix site to redeem your gift card See this screenshot:

    https://www.netflix.com/tr-en/redeem

Possible Problem: On the plan selection page, the currency is not in Turkish Lira
Possible Solution: The problem is due to your VPN. Double check or change your VPN if needed

Possible Problem: When redeeming the Turkey Netflix Gift Card, it gives an error (code invalid, etc)
Possible Solution: The problem is due to your VPN. Double check or change your VPN if needed. If after several VPNs and this issue still occurs, try to reach out to your place of purchase due to them possibly issuing you an incorrect code

  5. Follow the prompts of the sign up process. This screenshot will show the first page after applying the gift card. Click "Next" to land on this page. Choose the plan you want, then click "Next" to land on the payment page in step 6

  6. Proceed by choosing a backup payment method. Be careful with this step and look at the screenshot!

    • If you did Part 1 instructions correctly then your payment method is already saved within your account - in this case, press "skip this step" at the bottom. On the next page, click "Next" (see screenshot). Now Netflix will want to confirm your details to make sure it is correct as per (this screenshot). Double check, tick the checkbox and start your membership!

    • Otherwise, if for some reason you haven't done Part 1 correctly or your debit/credit card has expired, you will have to add a new debit/credit card (see screenshot). Beward this may prompt you for a Turkey number verification (which I guarantee you don't have otherwise you would have done Part 2) - if this happens, please complete Part 1 again (see fix below)

Possible Problem: After entering your debit/credit card details, it asks for a Turkish mobile number
Possible Solution: Two causes for this. Cause (1): the problem is due to your VPN - Double check or change your VPN if needed, then go back to step 4. Cause (2): This is because you've entered a new debit/credit card. In this case, please click back on your browser and avoid entering a new card by pressing "skip this step" at the bottom. If this option does not appear, please restart Part 1 and ensure you save the card you wish to use as a backup payment.

Possible Problem: My debit/credit cards keep declining, and I'm unable to subscribe
Possible Solution: It's likely the problem is due to your VPN. Double check or change your VPN if needed and restart the whole process. However, if VPN is not the problem, you can continue to subscribe without a backup payment method (i.e. start your subscription with just the Gift Card you bought), and then afterwards you can contact live chat and tell them you need to update your payment method by asking them to send a payment form popup (this will allow you to add a credit/debit card and save it into the account). If the agent refuses or has no idea what you’re trying to say, end the chat and start a new one.

Note: If you bought a gift card that has a higher value than your selected plan, you’ve just used your gift card to pay for the first month, as well as partially for the second month. For the second month, Netflix will deduct the remaining of the gift card, and the remaining balance will come out of the credit/debit card you’ve inputted, and from thereon each month Netflix will keep charging your bank at those rates (be aware many banks like Commonwealth Bank have a small international transaction fee but this is only a few cents extra. Suncorp and Latitude Platinum have no international fees). Besides this, you should be saving >$100 AUD each year at least ($200 saving annually for the premium plan)

Instructions – Method #2 (Using your Australian Debit/Credit Card, Requires PingMe App for Turkey SMS Verification)

Please read the following instructions carefully. Use this method if you want Netflix to charge your Australian debit/credit card each month.

Part 1 - Ensure you have your Australian mobile number and debit/credit card saved in your account

Complete either steps (a) or (b), depending on your current situation

  5. Once your subscription has expired (should be immediate as you’ve cancelled it for a refund through live chat), go to Part 2 or Part 3

Part 2 - Signing up via Netflix Turkey

Please ensure your subscription has completely ended/expired before starting Part 2. It has completely ended when you can no longer watch anything and Netflix asks you to resubscribe or restart your membership

  1. With VPN off, log into your Netflix account

  2. Activate a VPN service, turn it on and set it to Turkey (Istanbul is the largest city). There’s many free VPN’s if you don’t have a subscription to one. Here's a few great VPNs that work:

    Nord VPN: https://nordvpn.com/
    Express VPN: https://www.expressvpn.com/
    PureVPN: https://www.purevpn.com/
    Windscribe VPN: https://www.windscribe.com/
    ExpressVPN: https://www.expressvpn.com/

Note: Use chrome browser plugins for these VPNs where possible

Possible Problem: You use Windscribe VPN and set it to Turkey, but it defaults to one of the cities of Turkey that is not Istanbul.
Possible Solution: You want it to land in Istanbul, Turkey, so keep turning off and on the VPN until it lands in Istanbul. Confirm it’s Istanbul by refreshing this page: https://whatismyipaddress.com/

  3. Open Netflix on a new tab and proceed to Netflix to choose your plan:

    https://www.netflix.com/

  4. Proceed by adding your Australian credit/debit card as the backup payment method.

  5. Enter a Turkish phone number for the SMS verification process.

You can use the service from "PingMe" to obtain a Turkish number for Netflix's SMS verification purposes for just a few dollars. Download the PingMe app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. Create an account, and recharge with "coins" (credits). 1 coin ($2.99 AUD @ App Store) is enough for 1 Netflix Turkey SMS verification, but you can also buy 5 coins ($10 AUD @ App Store) for the price of 3 in case you need it in the future. After obtaining your coins, click on the "Verification" tab on the bottom of the app and follow this screenshot: select "Netflix" for the App/Website and "Turkey (+90)" for the Country/Region. Proceed as per the PingMe app and use that to validate the Netflix SMS verification process.

  6. You're done! Enjoy your membership :)

FAQ

Q: I just signed up and when I go to watch something I get the following error: "Your account can't be used in this location"
A: New sign-ups to Netflix Turkey is subject to a local restriction lockout. This lockout period will last approximately 28-31 days after signing up. During this lockout restriction, you can still watch most shows and movies, but you must use a Turkey VPN to do so (otherwise an error will pop up preventing you from watching anything). You can turn off the VPN after the show/movie has loaded for faster connection (may or may not work). After up to 31 days, this Turkey restriction will be removed and your Netflix account will behave no different to an Australian Netflix account. This minor hassle for a month is well worth the savings in the long term.

Q: I just got a "Payment Declined - Update Payment Method" email from Netflix. What do I do?
A: This issue is being reported by many people who have recently signed up to Netflix Turkey. They seem to only a few months after signing up, but once fixed, it usually does not happen again. There are two ways to get around this issue:

  1. You can contact Netflix Live Chat and enquire about the "Payment Declined" issue. Make sure you chat with your Turkey VPN activated. If they ask, say you're in Turkey for a holiday, or came up with another excuse. Tell them that your payment has declined and you'd like to add a new credit/debit card. They should (if not, request them to) be able to send a payment form popup directly on the chat so you can add your new payment details. If the agent refuses or has no idea what you’re trying to say, end the chat and start a new one. Once the payment is accepted, the "Payment Declined" issue shouldn't occur ever again.

  2. Log into your Netflix account and update your payment method (Turkey phone number required). When you follow the prompts to update your payment method, Netflix will require a Turkish number. You can use the PingMe service to obtain a Turkey phone number for the purposes of this SMS verification. It will cost you a few dollars to buy credits for the purpose of receiving this SMS.

Q: My current card expired. How do I update to a new debit/credit card?
A: See the FAQ directly above this question. If you're sticking with the same credit card account (i.e. just getting a new/replacement card against the same account), you may not have to do anything. Your Netflix account may automatically update to your new card details, due to a connection provided by Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, etc. See here and here and here for more details, thanks to @NitroJolt.

Q: How do I add Netflix Turkey Gift Cards to my Netflix account?
A: Log in and go to account settings. Click on Redeem gift card or promo code and redeem your Gift Cards there. You should be able to do this without a VPN. If it doesn't work, try with a VPN.

Q: I get an error when redeeming gift cards?
A: This is a VPN problem. Most likely the VPN server has been flagged. Double check or change your VPN if needed. In that rare 1% chance it's not a VPN problem, you may have a troubled gift card.

Q: Will I need to turn VPN on everytime I watch Netflix?
A: No! You no longer need to have VPN on every time you watch a show or movie. VPN is only required for sign up. After sign up, use Netflix without a VPN and you will have access to the Australian Netflix library.

Q: I want to watch a show/move that is only available from another region or country. Can I do this?
A: If you want to watch a show or movie that is region locked to another country, you can do so by setting your VPN on your phone, laptop or PC to that particular country to watch it. Yes, you will need a VPN service for this, and most VPN providers should work.

Q: I got charged a different rate compared to the prices on this post. What happened?
A: Due to foreign exchange rates constantly fluctuating, prices will differ by several cents each month

Q: I have an existing Netflix subscription, can I use the same email?
A: Definitely!

Q: My bank blocked my payment, what do I do?
A: Some banks block 1st attempt and then text to confirm it's you. Once you reply, 2nd attempt may work. If after several attempts it does not work, just go through the Gift Card method and avoid the pain

Q: Is signing up to Netflix Turkey going to affect my Netflix library/catalogue?
A: After setting up this sub, you may or may not notice the Netflix catalogue may be weird with brand new shows, etc… It might not even change anything, but if it does change, your Netflix catalogue will adjust to what you’re watching and soon it will look like nothing ever happened

Q: GST/VAT and Tax related questions?
A: See here. Don't worry, there really isn't any tax you need to worry about.

A number of users who have since transferred to Netflix India, have been reporting their account being deleted already. Anyone else having this issue?

  • haven’t watched since Friday and tonight my daughter said it’s not working.. turns out they cancelled! the nerve lol… Turkiye since 2018, thanks for the flix, will give it the flick unless can find another trick

  • +2

moved to india a couple days ago, kicked out today. Loophole well and truly closed by the looks

  • Turkey account cancelled. Rang the 1800 number and got a refund in under a minute.

Not sure if I'll give the ad supported subscription or not…

    • Rang the 1800 number

      Australia number, they refunded you?

      • Yes.

NF: "Hello Sir, Welcom to Netflix. How may I help you?"
Me: "Hi. My account has been cancelled. I would like a refund for the month please."
NF: "Can I have your email address please?"
        Me: "<email address>"
NF: "Thanks you sir, I've refunded your monthyl fee. It will take between 2-10 business days to appear in your account."
        Me: "Thanks. Bye"
        NF: "Thanks for using Netflix"
Me: "Ha, ha ha ha ha ha."

        • +2

They said they cannot process the refund for me because of suspicious activities, have to contact the bank.

Did they delete your C.C. from payment methods?

  • Think the Netflix party over soon for me too. Had an error message pop up and needed to restart Netflix. Works now again but doubt for long. Using GC.

    • It's still going? Using gift card. No vpn. And no vpn when claiming gc. Got until 17th April. My bet is cut off around the 20th this month.

  • +2

End of an era. Wow. The nerve of them to cancel without sending out an email notification and refunding unused days…

  • Ordered a turgame voucher, but can't apply to my Turkish account. So that was a waste of money.

Honestly Netflix isn't worth $17 a month to get the ad free version and at $7/month with ads and limited shows I question its value.

So while the party is over for me, the party looks to be over for Netflix too as this customer is exiting and going back to other methods.

    • Log into your netflix account

Use VPN to go to Turkey

go here and click redeem giftcard https://www.netflix.com/YourAccount

Make sure the url has TR and gift card should work

      • Thanks! Yep done all that, It's not my rodeo to get cheap services via the VPN ;)

        Trying to redeem at https://www.netflix.com/tr-en/redeem

Spoke with turgame, the error I'm getting is because the voucher isn't being accepted by netflix as the turkey ip address provided by the VPN service I'm using has been used too many times to redeem vouchers. They advised I need to try another IP address for it work.

If I'm going to go through this hassle every month, to find a free IP address that works, then I think I'll just let the Netflix service die and use other methods to get the shows.

Edit - Tried another 2 VPNs, finally got one that worked!

        • Ah I see, that makes sense especially if you're using free VPN.

Good to hear you managed to get it to work!

          • @CodeXD:

Ah I see, that makes sense especially if you're using free VPN.

Well I'm certainly not going to fly to Turkey every few months to load vouchers ;)

But yes, seems Netflix is really locking down on these 'tricks' to get affordable Netflix in the hope that people will pay more money!

        • Just load up a few months at a time.

          • @KangaDrew:

Just load up a few months at a time.

Yes can do that for sure but at this stage I'll do it month by month until I'm sure they won't cancel the account again. Already lost out on 1 months netflix that was paid a few days before it got canned last time.

But yes, once I'm happy it works, I'll do a few months at a time. At the moment the account is 'new' again, so geolocked to Turkey, so I need to confirm that is lifted before I get too excited with tossing money at them.

    • +1

I only had 2 days before card payment so went to get some giftcards but Turgame was blocking the tx due to my aussie ph No.
Ended up buying from G2A . A much easier process. See how long my NF lasts.

      • Turgame have removed the phone verify step now for acccounts. I ran into that yesterday, but today its gone.

        Handy to know about G2A!

If my Turkey Netflix account doesn't have the geo lock removed in 30 days, then I'm cancelling it, can't be arsed with VPN and stuff.

      • G2A has a very simple and fast process which is 10x easier than Turgame. Turgame is convoluted and time consuming with their wait times to process the order. G2A are near instant.

        • You pay more with G2A tho. I haven't had much issues with Turgame, just the one time when it didn't accept my 28D card so I changed the payment method from IYZI to PAYTR and it went through successfully.

I've gone back to using IYZI and it works now so will continue to top up every few months.

          • @CodeXD: For the confidence in knowing I'll receive the GC's and not have to wait for 6 hours for them to say "yeah, nah" I'm happy to pay that negligible amount :-)

            • @KangaDrew: Yeah, plus tur game usually turns me down half a dozen times before accepting my payment.

              • @scottb721: Yeah it's ridiculous. You can buy the exact same GC with the exact same debit/credit card and the exact same phone number and it goes through. Then you try it again later and it gets declined 8 times in a row. Meh, G2A FTW.

Using Turkey for sometime. Got cancelled on 24th Feb. Signed up again with India. Got cancelled today again. Leaving Netflix for good

    • Debit/credit or were you using GC as payment?

  • Turkey canned on weekend. Move to India on Monday - that got canned today. Game over

    • Debit/credit or were you using GC as payment?

I was using Crypto.com card for rebate. That wouldn’t work for India so used Revolut

  • Indian account got cancelled today too :/

    • Same here

      • Sucks. They don’t even want to refund as their system doesn’t allow them to do so -_-

Call my bank on 1Mar to dispute my Turkey cancellation, received my chargeback $10.03 and on the same date I received Netflix.com Los Gatos credit $9.75, the original charge amount on 13 Dec was $10.03

    • So you ended up profiting $9.75 haha

      • Yes, I saw two credit transaction on my C.C. bank statement.

Seem the bank successfully chargeback and Netflix also refunded.

  • Asked Revolut to do a charge back and they said no…hmmm

    • weird - mine came through pretty much immediately (and never spoke to a human)

      • I don't have the option to select charge back and fill out a form. Went through chat to ask why not.
Was at basketball game and couldn't reply and then notification it was rejected

Unfortunately we will not be able to proceed with your claim as we do not have chargeback rights in cases such as these. We are sorry we will not be able to assist you in this matter.

        • Just call the Netflix number under 'contract us' and they give you a refund over the phone.

          • @Fur Cue: Might have to. $11 is $11 for the next bargain haha

      • In the revolut app is the following
After reviewing your dispute, we weren't able to proceed with it as per the card scheme rules

I called the Netflix 1800 support number yesterday and got refunded this morning.

    • When did your acct get cancelled ?

      • 24th of Feb.

        • This will no doubt jinx me but mine's still going.

  • has anyone got netflix going again since the accounts from turkey all got closed?? missing my netflix evening time ;(

We use Kodi and real debrid, real debrid cost $26 for six months.
We watch movies, TV shows etc. Given up on Netflix after they caught on.

      • We use Kodi and real debrid, real debrid cost $26 for six months.

Thinking to use Stremio with RD.

        How about Netflix kdrama?

  • Netflix was good since it was easy install and can just install it onto devices and everything (e.g. what is watched etc) is kept to 1 account.

Does the alternatives also allow for this? as i have like 10 devices and rather not go through and set each one up one by one.

  • Anyone else's still working ?

    • Mine still works. GC. When claiming i dont use vpn. No vpn when watching. Won't renew when it does stop. Stremio and RD. Current sub until april 17th April. Perhaps stops after new month? We will see.

      • Are you sharing with different people in different households?

        • Nah, no sharing. Same household. Aussie broadband and static IP.

          • @Mikael: Not sure if helps. I used same account in Australia before and used PayPal. Changed country to turkey after sub expired. Removed PayPal before changing. Also haven't verified my number. Beats me why haven't gotten Blocked yet as clearly says PayPal and in AU$ on invoices then GC turkey.

        • Yeah, but not sure if it's getting any use though.

Can anyone confirm if gift cards from Turgame still work?

I'm thinking of returning just to watch 3 Body Problem and a couple of movies that I want to catch up on but I might have to settle for the standard service as Turgame only offers up to 200TL and the premium service is now around 230TL!

Literally came to ask the same thing, wondering if gift cards have no issues still. If I can just resub with gift cards permanently, might be worth

    • +1

I jumped right back in with gift cards the same day Netflix cancelled my membership. Hasn't been 30 days yet so my account is still geolocked. So far so good tho since I can still watch everything with Turkey VPN app installed on chromecast.

    • Just topped mine up. They still work. Could just get the 200 as others sold out on turgame.

When I put 200try on it doesn't fill a whole month but most part of it. It estimate on account page for me when credit runs out. Got until 10th may now.

        • -1

I'm considering topping mine up with 200TRY gift card and as I prefer to view content in 4K Dolby Vision, I might use my credit for the 4K service.

How many days will 200TRY get me?

          • @Gigrantor: 229 for a month so guessing 26 or so days. Not sure. Just topping up and if it fails down the track I use my RD/Stremio as i do anyways. Just easier with more users on Netflix as don't think you can on Stremio.
            Edit. I use the 4k

            • @Mikael: Ten bucks for 26 days to view a few shows in 4K Dolby Digital sounds reasonable to me.

I might give it a try tomorrow so I can watch 3 Body Problem!

              • @Gigrantor: Yep I used a 200TL gift card and it got me about 26 days. I am currently have a geolock so using a VPN to watch. No issues streaming 4k DV though

Confirmed. Just top up mine 1000TL.
The trick was, DO NOT LOGIN first.

      Steps:
      1. VPN Turk ON
      2. Google Netflix Redeem. click the link to redeem and it will take you to the redeem page. you can see at top far right "SIGN IN" button.DO NOT SIGN IN.
      3. enter the gift card.
      4. if successfully, it will show you the amount and ask you to what email address you would like this value added.
      5. enter the email you use for your netflix.
      6. boom!! you will receive email from netflix that GC successfully added.

I tried to login first then redeem, but it just kept saying some error stuff. i was nervous because i spent 1083TL!!!
then i tried without login, it works fine.

      Good luck!

Was all card payments cancelled? Mine is still running when i signed up using GC. Might top up to avoid using my card.

  • GC from both G2A and Turgame work fine. Just topped up.
Where can I find the "Full list of Netflix pricing around the world" Google sheet?
Why is this post marked as "expired"?

  • Signed up with TRY gift card again. Let's see what will happen.

  • anyone else get an email from Netflix turkey asking you to come back for 120tl/mth?

28 Degrees refunded my subscription after I put in a dispute.

Sharing my experience with the TR geolock.
I placed turkey's sub on pause/hold and started a Nigeria one with a new email, NF Nigeria killed my account within the first 2 weeks like everybody else. I loaded the TR account with enough GC first (I used to only pay by cba CC before pausing) then unpaused the sub which deducted the monthy fee right away: I did not have the 30 days geolock, and could use the account without vpn right away.

  • Not sure why this one is expired! I just bought 500 TL gift card from mtcgame and redeemed without any issue or even VPN. I have basic plan. This is still one of the cheapest options so I think this deal should be resurrected

    • Feel free to post it

    • Tell us if you can play your Netflix movie without using VPN (not whem you were buying the gift card).

      • Yes I can, no VPN required whatsoever

        • Mine also haven't expired or got cancelled. Used it as Australian with PayPal earlier. Changed country to turkey..been using GC since. 7 or so months. Not verified my number. It clearly says aud in payments made. No idea why not been cancelled. I'm on the 4k plan. Using turgames 200TRY. Doesn't give full month so usually ads 26 or so days.

          • @Mikael: So yours was previously au account with PayPal as payment method, and subsequently changed to tur and has been paying with turgame cards since?

Did your account payment method show PayPal as backup?

            • @LurvinOZB: I deleted PayPal as backup. My backup is oldubil. Don't have money enough there as drained it before

              • @Mikael: Oldubil cannot be funded anymore yea?

                • @LurvinOZB: Correct. That's why using GC and leaving oldubil there even though not enough funds. Don't touch if it works.

    • Thanks! I was about to get from g2a but I looked up mtcgame and it was a few dollars cheaper

  • They have gotten smart. Enticed me multiple times to rejoin. The VPN CC method is no go as needed a Turkish phone number to verify. Tried the VPN gift card method and it worked. But needed VPN to watch after sign up process so I could not cast on TV. worse I can't seem to watch on ipad even with VPN. Will quit after this month. Not worth it anymore for me. Too much hassle

    • +2

After the first month, you don't need VPN to watch anymore. Its mentioned in the FAQ

      • Ah I see. Thanks. Might hold off canceling till next month to see if it works smoothly
