Welcome to the ultimate guide of Netflix subscriptions (Turkey Edition)

Netflix has once again rolled out a 2nd price hike for Türkiye within 4 months. Please see the statistics section below for an interesting read. Luckily, Netflix's Password Sharing restrictions still do not apply to Türkiye.

This guide is the latest updated guide I've made so far. There are 2 complete methods to sign up. Please show some love and any comments, concerns, suggestions or feedback are welcome :)

  • Turkey is no longer the cheapest country for a Netflix subscription on all tiers, after they keep increasing prices every few months.
    • However, obtaining a Turkey-based Netflix Gift Card is extremely easy and effortless, making it one of the easiest and therefore cheapest country to sign up with.
  • Pakistan is the cheapest country for all Netflix plans, however, obtaining a Pakistan-based Netflix Gift Card to sign up is almost impossible. Egypt is the next cheapest, but impossible to sign up for the same reason. If you have a bank card locally from these countries, feel free to sign up directly otherwise.

Please see @Scrooge McDeal's post for Netflix Kenya, which is slightly cheaper than Netflix Turkey. However, note that some members have had their memberships cancelled and payments refunded.

Instructions – Method #1 (Using Turkey Netflix Gift Cards)

Please read the following instructions carefully. Use this method if you want Netflix to charge your Australian debit/credit card each month OR you would like to use Turkey Netflix Gift Cards moving forward.

Part 1 - Ensure you have your Australian mobile number and debit/credit card saved in your account

Complete either steps (a) or (b), depending on your current situation, BEFORE moving to Part 2

a. If you currently have an Australian Netflix subscription:

  1. Make sure your Australian mobile number is saved and verified in your account. See this screenshot

  2. Make sure your current or new debit/credit card is saved and verified in your account. If your payment method is PayPal, remove this immediately and replace it will a debit/credit card.

  3. Once you’ve triple checked your mobile is added and verified, simply cancel your subscription and wait until the end of the renewal period (i.e. keep watching until the sub expires. Don’t let your sub go to waste since you’ve already paid for it). Once your subscription has expired, go to Part 2 or Part 3

b. If you DO NOT have a current Australian subscription:

  1. Sign up and subscribe to any Australian Netflix plan (preferably the lowest cost basic plan - don’t worry, you’ll get your money back). Do not use PayPal to sign up, it must be a debit/credit card.

  2. Once you’ve signed up, make sure your Australian mobile number is saved and verified in your account. See this screenshot

  3. Make sure your current or new debit/credit card is saved and verified in your account.

  4. Once you’ve triple checked your mobile is added and verified, go to Netflix Live Chat and tell them you “would like a full refund since you’ve changed your mind” - they usually don’t ask why but if they do make up some random excuse like “my sibling just signed up” or “you don’t want it anymore” etc. This should be a very fast step and take you only several minutes. The account cancellation will be effective immediately and the refund will arrive in a few hours or days

  5. Once your subscription has expired (should be immediate as you’ve cancelled it for a refund through live chat), go to Part 2

Part 2 - Signing up via Netflix Turkey

Please ensure your subscription has completely ended/expired before signing up to this deal (i.e. when you can no longer watch anything and Netflix asks you to resubscribe or restart your membership)

  1. Purchase a Turkey Netflix Gift Card (any value is fine, even if it's not enough to cover the full month)

Note: Choose a reputable seller and make an account so you have a record of the purchases if anything goes wrong. I recommend Turgame (I've bought Turkey Apple GC's from there and they have fast delivery (at night time AEST), they charge the same price as the gift card value and the payment gateway fee is very low) or g2a

  2. Once you’ve received your gift card, it’s time to redeem your gift card and sign up to Netflix Turkey at the same time. Make sure from Part 1 that you have not logged out. You must stay logged in to your Australian account. If you’ve logged out, please log back in now with VPN turned off (Logging into your Australian account with a VPN on gives an error)

  3. Activate a VPN service, turn it on and set it to Turkey (Istanbul is the largest city). There’s many free VPN’s if you don’t have a subscription to one. Here's a few great VPNs that work:

    Nord VPN: https://nordvpn.com/ (recommended, paid)
    Urban VPN: https://www.urban-vpn.com/ (recommended, free)
    Windscribe VPN: https://www.windscribe.com/ (recommended, free)
    Express VPN: https://www.expressvpn.com/
    PureVPN: https://www.purevpn.com/

Note: Use chrome browser plugins for these VPNs where possible

Possible Problem 1: If you use Windscribe VPN and set it to Turkey, sometimes it defaults to random serves and therefore random cities of Turkey that will give you the wrong pricing (ideally, you want Istanbul). In this case, keep turning off and on the VPN until it switches to a different server/location. Confirm the location by refreshing this page: https://whatismyipaddress.com/. If this fails, change your VPN provider.

  4. With VPN on, open a new tab and go to the following Netflix site to redeem your gift card See this screenshot:

    https://www.netflix.com/tr-en/redeem

Possible Problem: On the plan selection page, the currency is not in Turkish Lira
Possible Solution: The problem is due to your VPN. Double check or change your VPN if needed

Possible Problem: When redeeming the Turkey Netflix Gift Card, it gives an error (code invalid, etc)
Possible Solution: The problem is due to your VPN. Double check or change your VPN if needed. If after several VPNs and this issue still occurs, try to reach out to your place of purchase due to them possibly issuing you an incorrect code

  5. Follow the prompts of the sign up process. This screenshot will show the first page after applying the gift card. Click "Next" to land on this page. Choose the plan you want, then click "Next" to land on the payment page in step 6

  6. Proceed by choosing a backup payment method. Be careful with this step and look at the screenshot!

    • If you did Part 1 instructions correctly then your payment method is already saved within your account - in this case, press "skip this step" at the bottom. On the next page, click "Next" (see screenshot). Now Netflix will want to confirm your details to make sure it is correct as per (this screenshot). Double check, tick the checkbox and start your membership!

    • Otherwise, if for some reason you haven't done Part 1 correctly or your debit/credit card has expired, you will have to add a new debit/credit card (see screenshot). Beward this may prompt you for a Turkey number verification (which I guarantee you don't have otherwise you would have done Part 2) - if this happens, please complete Part 1 again (see fix below)

Possible Problem: After entering your debit/credit card details, it asks for a Turkish mobile number
Possible Solution: Two causes for this. Cause (1): the problem is due to your VPN - Double check or change your VPN if needed, then go back to step 4. Cause (2): This is because you've entered a new debit/credit card. In this case, please click back on your browser and avoid entering a new card by pressing "skip this step" at the bottom. If this option does not appear, please restart Part 1 and ensure you save the card you wish to use as a backup payment.

Possible Problem: My debit/credit cards keep declining, and I'm unable to subscribe
Possible Solution: It's likely the problem is due to your VPN. Double check or change your VPN if needed and restart the whole process. However, if VPN is not the problem, you can continue to subscribe without a backup payment method (i.e. start your subscription with just the Gift Card you bought), and then afterwards you can contact live chat and tell them you need to update your payment method by asking them to send a payment form popup (this will allow you to add a credit/debit card and save it into the account). If the agent refuses or has no idea what you’re trying to say, end the chat and start a new one.

Note: If you bought a gift card that has a higher value than your selected plan, you’ve just used your gift card to pay for the first month, as well as partially for the second month. For the second month, Netflix will deduct the remaining of the gift card, and the remaining balance will come out of the credit/debit card you’ve inputted, and from thereon each month Netflix will keep charging your bank at those rates (be aware many banks like Commonwealth Bank have a small international transaction fee but this is only a few cents extra. Suncorp and Latitude Platinum have no international fees). Besides this, you should be saving >$100 AUD each year at least ($200 saving annually for the premium plan)

Instructions – Method #2 (Using your Australian Debit/Credit Card, Requires PingMe App for Turkey SMS Verification)

Please read the following instructions carefully. Use this method if you want Netflix to charge your Australian debit/credit card each month.

Part 1 - Ensure you have your Australian mobile number and debit/credit card saved in your account

Complete either steps (a) or (b), depending on your current situation

  5. Once your subscription has expired (should be immediate as you’ve cancelled it for a refund through live chat), go to Part 2 or Part 3

Part 2 - Signing up via Netflix Turkey

Please ensure your subscription has completely ended/expired before starting Part 2. It has completely ended when you can no longer watch anything and Netflix asks you to resubscribe or restart your membership

  1. With VPN off, log into your Netflix account

  2. Activate a VPN service, turn it on and set it to Turkey (Istanbul is the largest city). There’s many free VPN’s if you don’t have a subscription to one. Here's a few great VPNs that work:

    Nord VPN: https://nordvpn.com/
    Express VPN: https://www.expressvpn.com/
    PureVPN: https://www.purevpn.com/
    Windscribe VPN: https://www.windscribe.com/
    ExpressVPN: https://www.expressvpn.com/

Note: Use chrome browser plugins for these VPNs where possible

Possible Problem: You use Windscribe VPN and set it to Turkey, but it defaults to one of the cities of Turkey that is not Istanbul.
Possible Solution: You want it to land in Istanbul, Turkey, so keep turning off and on the VPN until it lands in Istanbul. Confirm it’s Istanbul by refreshing this page: https://whatismyipaddress.com/

  3. Open Netflix on a new tab and proceed to Netflix to choose your plan:

    https://www.netflix.com/

  4. Proceed by adding your Australian credit/debit card as the backup payment method.

  5. Enter a Turkish phone number for the SMS verification process.

You can use the service from "PingMe" to obtain a Turkish number for Netflix's SMS verification purposes for just a few dollars. Download the PingMe app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. Create an account, and recharge with "coins" (credits). 1 coin ($2.99 AUD @ App Store) is enough for 1 Netflix Turkey SMS verification, but you can also buy 5 coins ($10 AUD @ App Store) for the price of 3 in case you need it in the future. After obtaining your coins, click on the "Verification" tab on the bottom of the app and follow this screenshot: select "Netflix" for the App/Website and "Turkey (+90)" for the Country/Region. Proceed as per the PingMe app and use that to validate the Netflix SMS verification process.

  6. You're done! Enjoy your membership :)

FAQ

Q: I just signed up and when I go to watch something I get the following error: "Your account can't be used in this location"
A: New sign-ups to Netflix Turkey is subject to a local restriction lockout. This lockout period will last approximately 28-31 days after signing up. During this lockout restriction, you can still watch most shows and movies, but you must use a Turkey VPN to do so (otherwise an error will pop up preventing you from watching anything). You can turn off the VPN after the show/movie has loaded for faster connection (may or may not work). After up to 31 days, this Turkey restriction will be removed and your Netflix account will behave no different to an Australian Netflix account. This minor hassle for a month is well worth the savings in the long term.

Q: I just got a "Payment Declined - Update Payment Method" email from Netflix. What do I do?
A: This issue is being reported by many people who have recently signed up to Netflix Turkey. They seem to only a few months after signing up, but once fixed, it usually does not happen again. There are two ways to get around this issue:

  1. You can contact Netflix Live Chat and enquire about the "Payment Declined" issue. Make sure you chat with your Turkey VPN activated. If they ask, say you're in Turkey for a holiday, or came up with another excuse. Tell them that your payment has declined and you'd like to add a new credit/debit card. They should (if not, request them to) be able to send a payment form popup directly on the chat so you can add your new payment details. If the agent refuses or has no idea what you’re trying to say, end the chat and start a new one. Once the payment is accepted, the "Payment Declined" issue shouldn't occur ever again.

  2. Log into your Netflix account and update your payment method (Turkey phone number required). When you follow the prompts to update your payment method, Netflix will require a Turkish number. You can use the PingMe service to obtain a Turkey phone number for the purposes of this SMS verification. It will cost you a few dollars to buy credits for the purpose of receiving this SMS.

Q: My current card expired. How do I update to a new debit/credit card?
A: See the FAQ directly above this question. If you're sticking with the same credit card account (i.e. just getting a new/replacement card against the same account), you may not have to do anything. Your Netflix account may automatically update to your new card details, due to a connection provided by Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, etc. See here and here and here for more details, thanks to @NitroJolt.

Q: How do I add Netflix Turkey Gift Cards to my Netflix account?
A: Log in and go to account settings. Click on Redeem gift card or promo code and redeem your Gift Cards there. You should be able to do this without a VPN. If it doesn't work, try with a VPN.

Q: I get an error when redeeming gift cards?
A: This is a VPN problem. Most likely the VPN server has been flagged. Double check or change your VPN if needed. In that rare 1% chance it's not a VPN problem, you may have a troubled gift card.

Q: Will I need to turn VPN on everytime I watch Netflix?
A: No! You no longer need to have VPN on every time you watch a show or movie. VPN is only required for sign up. After sign up, use Netflix without a VPN and you will have access to the Australian Netflix library.

Q: I want to watch a show/move that is only available from another region or country. Can I do this?
A: If you want to watch a show or movie that is region locked to another country, you can do so by setting your VPN on your phone, laptop or PC to that particular country to watch it. Yes, you will need a VPN service for this, and most VPN providers should work.

Q: I got charged a different rate compared to the prices on this post. What happened?
A: Due to foreign exchange rates constantly fluctuating, prices will differ by several cents each month

Q: I have an existing Netflix subscription, can I use the same email?
A: Definitely!

Q: My bank blocked my payment, what do I do?
A: Some banks block 1st attempt and then text to confirm it's you. Once you reply, 2nd attempt may work. If after several attempts it does not work, just go through the Gift Card method and avoid the pain

Q: Is signing up to Netflix Turkey going to affect my Netflix library/catalogue?
A: After setting up this sub, you may or may not notice the Netflix catalogue may be weird with brand new shows, etc… It might not even change anything, but if it does change, your Netflix catalogue will adjust to what you’re watching and soon it will look like nothing ever happened

Q: GST/VAT and Tax related questions?
A: See here. Don't worry, there really isn't any tax you need to worry about.

what's the downside of just using gift card all the time? why do we even need the credit card entered?
I've been on Mars for the last few months and missed all this password sharing crackdown. I was happy to just pay the Australian pricing and share the passwords but with that option gone, Turkey seems the best option (cheap, no password sharing restriction etc etc) so why can't we just buy the gift cards to fill the credits as necessary?

    • +2

Guess most think more convenient to have CC in there. Set and forget. With GC need to keep an eye and top up. Currently that are cracking down on all those accounts. Especially the CC ones. Guess GC is next. Got another month credit on GC. See how long it goes. If not just go to different options and forget Netflix.

  • I got cancelled for some unknown reason from Kenya.

    Now getting

There appears to be a problem with the payment method you are trying to use.

Using Wise in Turkey as well as Kenya

If you don't want members including myself that's fine.

Not gonna pay extra in AUD.

    • I would happily pay AUD rate but not even being able to password share to lessen the impact is really tipping me over the edge! :)

I was on the Turkey plan but suddenly they terminated my subscription. When I tried to reactivate they rejected every credit card I tried to use. How do i get it reactivated.

    • Use a gift card.
I found they accept my ubank card too

  • Ive got a 28d card saved, but have been using GC to pay since I started, has anyone had luck with 28d payment going through or should I add some more GCs? If the card payment fails and I add the GC, does it restart the whole geo-locking again?

    • Signed up on 6th jan with CC, got billed for the second month already, but geolock still in place today 8th Feb. any ideas?

For those having no longer being able go via the turkey route there is still one more option.

Proviso 1: One household has to connect via Google TV or Apple TV devices.
Proviso 2: You need to be close to be within driving distance of other Netflix Household

Step 1: Sign up to Netflix via 1 screen option if still available, if not 2 screens might be the best and cheapest option.
Step 2: Establish household that only uses Google TV/Apple TV and make the other household the main address for netflix.
Step 3: Go to other household and bring your Google TV/Apple TV and sign in via their wifi.
Step 4: Go back to your household and reconnect and you will be able to use netflix in both houses bypassing the sharing filter.
Step 5: Share costs with your friend/relative

    Done.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I'm fairly certain this requirement to sign in every 30 days is still valid.

Never had to go back and do it.

  • I have my Kanya sub cancelled 2 weeks after money being deducted from my cc. I can no longer logged into my netflix account to cancel the sub properly. Will they continue to deduct my cc?
I rarely watch it anyway but hopefully they do not continue to deduct from my cc.

    • same here.

    • you will find that your payment method in your Netflix account settings has now been deleted.
I am in the same situation.

  • anyone else having issues with ping me?
I need to change my credit card but it is currently saying no Turkey numbers available.

    • Apparently been an issue for more then a week. Saw in comment section last week. Not sure if they release numbers since and been taken or not any new ones yet.

    • Same issue for me, my debit card expired on Turkey account.
Signed up with new Netflix Kenya, account cancelled after a few days.
Can't get my old Turkey account to accept any debit card, asking for mobile verification.

  • Have not reached pingme step but glad am reading the comments. Followed the steps for Turkey but it's showing up as British Pound in the "choose the plan…" Page. Appreciate any advice! Current subscription ends 26th!

Netflix cancelled my turkey subscription before the end of billing cycle stating they detected suspicious activity with my payment. they showed me my transaction activity which is from my legit Bankwest credit card anyway. Told them it's correct and they don't give a sh1t. They told me they cannot do anything for me and asked me to get my bank to refund me using the reason that they could not provide me the service. they also said I cannot use my credit card again.

I thought I will try Kenya Netflix and it worked. Charged me another month and restarted my membership. Thinking all good life goes on. No, after less than a week, they cancelled my membership again. All up got charged 2 months and was provided just a couple of weeks service. With all this pain to setup and lost it, I reckon I will just stop using it for good. they want to make it that hard for me and don't want my money. Fine.

just thought I would share my recent experience. if you are using Bankwest platinum MasterCard, be warned.

    • I feel your pain mate. Double Kenya Netflix charges only to get disconnected fee days later (am thinking of filling a dispute form with Bankwest). Likewise using Bankwest platinum MasterCard. Used Urban VPN only.

Bought Netflix gift card from turgame to try that route but problem when redeeming the gift card. Submitted a ticked via turgame but why do I feel that I ain't getting that back as well?!

At wits end… Either pay full price Netflix or walk away. The latter option might earn me a divorce 🤣

      • Got another few weeks left of GC turkey. Since all this issues got stremio. Not a bad service. Hooked it up to my Plex. And wife is happy so far with it. :)

For anyone having trouble with SMS verification using PingMe, try this Use this: https://sms-activate.org/en
I found it on Whirlpool, topped up $1 USD and received my Turkish number straight away, Netflix verification code came through within 1 minute and managed to activate successfully.

    https://sms-activate.org/en
$1 top up and an activation is around 50c

    • Hey mate does the Whirlpool thread mention anything about whether or not this works for updating payment methods and having to verify using a temp number? Or please link the thread

  • Just got my account cancelled overnight, was utilising turkey

  • It was a good run boys. Back to Aaawrrrrr aaawrrr

  • Same, cancelled as well, i wonder if its because these things keep getting relisted on ozbargain and the new influx of customers got them onto this.

  • So where are we off to now? haha

  • Sooo how bad is the $6.99/month for 2 screens with adds option?

    • That sounds awful. Also low definition.

    • -1

Actually not too bad. I rarely get ads, and when I do they're quite short (30 secs at the longest, but mostly 15 secs). TV/YouTube ads are worse imo

    • +3

I'm not going to pay to watch ads and in potato resolution and potato audio, and have some videos not available because some pen pusher decided they aren't allowed.

  • Membership cancelled on mine this morning. Should I try the path of using turkey gift cards?

    • Will wait to hear from guys who are using gift cards. Not ready to lose money trying new things.

    • How many adds? Like SBSonDemand level?

        • +1

Wait so not only does it have ads but it is missing content? All for a paid service?

  • +2

Anyone on gift card got their account cancelled?

I reactived in Netflix Turkey with gift card and now I'm geolocked, will report back in 30 days I guess 😢

    • +1

Not cancelled. Topped up with 200try and got added fine. Active to april. See if they lock it or not. Didn't use any VPN when claimed the code. Turgame.

      • Thank you, exactly what I was looking for and reason I created this poll, lets see if there are overwhelming number of people in the same scenario

      • Now go on your watching device and try to watch something. I'm sure you'll find you've just wasted money. They've geolocked Turkey altogether by the seems of it. Clicking play will likely result in a "you can't watch in this location" error.

  • Mine was cancelled as well, was going to renew in a few days. Oh well, was good while it lasted.

  • Same - also took payment out (of my BankWest card) on 19th Feb. Tried logging into netflix via vpn but it would not let me login so suspect the account is blocked. I could probably create a new account and then just use gift cards, but would mean losing history etc for the family. Total pain. I've switched over to the ad version for now - it happily accepted the same credit card - until I work out what other options we might have.

    • My account does this too.
      Its not blocked locally.
So what I do is login, connect VPN, open new Netflix tab.
I'm waiting on gift cards so will see if that still works.

    • My account just reverted into an Australian account with a payment screen. Not 'blocked'.

      • +2

Same here - have to choose an Aussie plan or nothin.

  • +4

I created a poll here for Netflix TR to compare and see if people on card vs gift card is affected

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/832922

    • Perhaps adding if current sub or new sub. I didn't use vpn to add from turgame 200try to current sub. Not geolocked or cancelled (yet)

      • What do you mean current or new sub? What determines a new sub? First signed up within the last 30 days?

        • För example they probably crack down on new sub. Had my Turkish 6 months. Just initially 30 day geolocked. Used gc all the time. No issues.
Mine was previously an Australian one with PayPal connected. No idea why that one is not cancelled after changing country. Also number not verified. Got my Australian number there. Not touching anything lol.

  • Same here, good on ya Netflix. I guess the ride was good, and it was going to come to an end at some point.
I was charged on Feb 12, my concern was that I would be charged again next month.
Going off what others have said, this won't happen.

  • +3

My Turkey just got cooked too 🦃

  • Mine too.
Seems they have cracked down on all foreign ones.

  • Damn. My account got cancelled too.

  • +2

Well my account was also just cancelled to "protect my account" according to Netflix chat 😂

My account just had the signed out message, and then asking me to sign up again. I was last charged 3 days ago.

I just shrugged and loaded up Stremio with Real Debrid and away I go.

Chat with Netflix for the LOLs.

As per checking To protect members against unauthorized charges, we sometimes cancel accounts that show signs of unusual activity. It looks like your account was canceled for this reason.

    G
Unfortunately, we're unable to refund this transaction. Please reach out to your financial institution and request a refund directly from them.

    G
So for this reason the account was cancelled Thank you for your kind understanding for the situation.

    Gaurav • 12:50 PM
    That makes no sense?

And why would I need to contact my bank if you only just charged my account?

Can you advise what unauthorised activity you are referring too as well?

    12:51 PM
    G
Unfortunately you need to raise a dispute with your bank and they would be able to refund you

    G
While Netflix is specific to region/country due to content licensing and currency of the payment. We have noticed the activity on your account does not match the same & this activity is not aligned with the practices to the country you are in.

    Gaurav • 12:52 PM
I'm an international student? Am I not able to move around the world?

    12:53 PM
    G
    I do understand

    G
But if server detects any unusual activity

    G
To protect your account it will cancel the account to keep it secure

    Gaurav • 12:55 PM
To protect my account. You cancel it? That makes no sense.

    12:56 PM
    G
Unfortunately if the server detects then the account will be cancelled

    Gaurav • 12:56 PM
I would like to speak to your supervisor. I'm not sure if you are understanding my concerns.

    12:57 PM
    G
I did understand the concern and in this issue even our manager would be giving the same info as i did

    G
Thank you for your kind understanding for the situation.

    Gaurav • 12:57 PM
At least process my refund. Why are you inconveniencing me further with having to initiate a charge back?

    12:58 PM
    G
As a merchant Netflix has identified the activity on your account does not match with the rightful practice of Netflix, we will report this activity to your bank also when they connect with us for any disputed charge.

    G
The rights to refund will remain with your bank as the account was cancelled due to unusual activity, which Netflix will not be able to refund directl

Turkish account cancelled after 3+ years. Sigh, back to sailing the high seas.

    • +2

yep will just use Plex + Sonaar + Radaar if gift cards dont work.

  • Just logged in and cancelled as well. Pack of c***s.
So now what? Paid 2 weeks ago and account cancelled?!

    • You need to initiate a chargeback with your bank if you used a CC. Refer to my lengthy comment above.

  • what's stopping us from using a new email and applying for netflix india instead? roughly the same price per month.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/671637

    • +1

Not much details in there on how to sign up - but I would be very wary of using card payment that doesn't match with the region you are signing up to.

Netflix can easily do the same they just did with Turkey to other regions

I have a feeling gift card is the way to go and turkey gift cards are the easiest to get. Will see how this poll goes

    • +1

Not sure but a comment from someone from India notes that unlike the turkey membership, Netflix has cracked down on password sharing and will only work for a single household.

    • I think with India sign up, you need Indian CC and Indian phone number. They went hard on India few years ago.

  • +4

You'd think the aholes would at least see out the monthly billing cycle…

I gave it to their support agent and all they could do was recycle that bs line:

"As much as I would love to reactivate your account, we do not have process like that available. Rest assured, your feedback is being carefully noted and will be used to enhance our services. We're committed to addressing your concerns and improving your experience with us. Thank you for bringing this to our attention"

Do we think Turkey giftcards are the way to go??

  • +1

    Same. Ended today

  • +1

    RIP Netflix Turkey :(

    Now awaiting other options…..

  • +2

Yup Netflix Ended, they took the money and not refunding, told me to contact bank XD.

    I would recommend
Syncler + Read-Debrid cost under $4-5 a month been using it for years
    https://syncler.net/

I'm able to stream 70gb bluray with no buffering
Don't know y I need netflix, guess I just enjoy the browsing lol

    • -1

Can you explain what's Syncler ? I have real-debrid but I use it just for downloading *science research stuff .

      • Refer to the link provided for explanation.

      • +1

Its an app that integrates into real-debrid
basically when you play any movies, tvshow or anime it resolves the magnet link from RD and streams it to you
It a bit complicated at 1st to setup that just because the need to protect themselves from MPAA :)
but it well worth the effort good UI, never had any buffering or streaming issues.
