Current shipping times:

  • We're still quoting 5-10 business days and the majority of systems sold are shipped within this. There have been, understandably, comments on shipping times at the moment from customers whose systems haven't, and I'm always happy to escalate and assist wherever I can - that's 100% our job and responsibility. A few comments regarding selling PCs that aren't ready to go - we are ultimately building custom PCs where pretty much every line is customisable, so that's where the majority of the time goes in organisation, build, testing, packing, shipping etc. For the prices we charge, and other shipping times out there in PC land for even full price orders, we still believe we're extremely competitive and always do our best for the Ozb community.
  • Kingston RAM for last of 12400F 4060 ITX deals arrived, installed, testing and shipping ASAP.
  • We're aware of and have prioritised a few outliers in the various 4090, 4080 Super, 4070 Ti Super and 4070 orders from March, so they're heading out.
  • Maxsun motherboards for i3 RX 550 ITX slight delay - emails sent to customers
  • 4070 Ti Super and other orders approaching business day 10 are next up, and we expect to be hitting the estimate from there out.
  • As above happy to check on statuses if you can PM me order numbers - posting comments is really hard to track so PM works a lot better for everyone.

Cheers
Luke, Caleb, Zac

Literally bought last AMD deal, have not received the order yet, and this deal came out with better case/wifi motherboard/power supply and same price😭

    • +1

Haven't received or hasn't shipped? We're happy to refund to match new deals if orders haven't shipped

      • Shipped just a day before, otherwise I would definitely love to go for the WiFi motherboard

        • +3

          Can you PM me pls

        • I got the last AMD xtx deal too, arrived last week, not sure if i got lucky with stock but it has a wifi motherboard installed, was a pleasant surprise! I personally prefer the Mag 320R case so I'm a very happy customer.

  • Hi Luke, will there be a build 7800x3d & 4070ti combo? Can I also confirm the motherboard has wifi and I don’t need to order an additional adapter for that

    • +2

4070 Ti Super deal likely next week yep. And yep, integrated WiFi on the board.

  • +2

    Hi Luke

Any chance of getting 6000Mhz RAM in the AMD systems? Even as an upgrade

    • The trouble is quantity and specific brand/model at this stage. It's still relatively early in the DDR5 cycle so 5200 is still the most readily available for us. Best bet is purchase as is, and upgrade separately using a good deal you can find, and keep ours as spare or on-sell it

      • +2

I've had the same desire as the commenter above, so I appreciate your explanation.

@Callum1080 if you're considering the 7500F, worth noting it only supports a max of 5200Mhz. Might tip your scale for now.

      • +4

6000Mhz RAM is pretty common at retail. I assume you just can't get a good bulk price on it?

But yeah as above will be great when you start offering it. I wouldn't buy one of your high-end systems for that reason. I don't need spare RAM and don't want to deal with Gumtree if I can avoid it.

        • Bulk price and supply, yes.

  • +2

AMD to nVidia flagship = almost 1500$ What lack of competition will do. Agree there are small changes in the build, but still.

  • @luketechfast - do you guys do this new fishstyle case on the i9 , RTX 4080 builds ?

  • Any BYO GPU builds planned?

    • +1

      Nah

  • Is the 7800XT a dual or triple fan design?

  • +3

At $1488, I think the 4070 Super build has slight better edge?

    Hi Luke and Team,

Is there a parts pickerlist available? I would like to know the exact model of parts if possible.

  • 7900 XTX min i can see is 1500 and cpu is 550ish how is the rest built for that cheap?

    • +5

Rest of the parts are okish quality…they can source them in bulk prices and pass on that discount to us. Overall savings

should i return it? not shipped yet, i have 14 days from shipped day

      100% dude.

Grab the 7900XTX deal. Upgrade the following:

      360mm AIO cooler
      32GB RAM
      2TB NVMe Storage

      You'll get change from $3,250.

Consider the 1000W PSU upgrade if you are going to OC. The 4090 is definitely insane though and kills the 7900XTX, so I guess I'd ask, what monitor are you using and what games are you playing?

    • Well depends what res you want to play games at … But a 4090 can by itself be 3K+ lol so seeing it's a HP branded PC it's pretty decent deal …not sure how good that 4090 is but nothing from NVIDIA (by design) or AMD comes close to it's performance.

      • I also bought this. Actually it is the best 4090 deal I’ve seen on this site. It has 1200w gold+ psu, looks like 120 liquid cooling. there are minor issues. But factor in everything, a very good deal.

        • Hey @khamzatchimaev,
Did you get your omen? Do you like it?
Can you please leave a review for us?

  • Wanting a system that plays modern games decently at 1080p or higher for the next few years. Can anyone recommend anything here?

Looking for something along the lines of a best budget pc build. Thanks

    • +2

You’d be hard pressed to find a deal as good as the $1488 4070 Super deal under $1500. A 4070 super won’t break a sweat at 1080p and run 1440p like a champ, I don’t know if I’d consider it the best price to performance ratio of their available builds but it’s definitely the cheapest. To put things in perspective for me to buy similar parts to build myself I’d be up to $800-1000 before adding the GPU which is around $800.

      • Definitely second this at 1080p you don’t need a power house

      • Not Baxter2692, but what builds do you think are the best price to performance? 4060 builds seem very good value but I've read a decent amount about the 4060 being a bit of a lacklustre card with minimal gains over 3060

  • What fans does the case use?

  • Interested in the $1488 deal but looking for a white case. Is this an option (with no price upgrade?)

Also double-checking that this has on-board Wifi so no need to upgrade anything to get wifi working?

  • How can I know which deal is capable for 2 UHD monitors to run smoothly? (No gaming)

  • I bought a Techfast pre-built in Dec 2020
System is now 3.33 years old, no issues
Very happy with purchase, thanks OP

  • Hey, on the 7900xt deal it says 750W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply as the default PSU, but on your description here, you've said 850w. which is it? I want to buy but I need to know!

    • Thanks for the catch, it's 750W which is in line with the GPU's power draw.

      • Okay thank you!

  • Received my 4090 i9 order a week ago, everything works fine.
Only issue is fan noise from the CPU AIO radiator fans, sounds like there’s a low hum resonance when the cpu temps start rising and again when dropping.

Tried adjusting the fan curve in Fan Control, MSI Center and the BIOS, but couldn’t because there’s no RPM sensor reading for that radiator fan. I can see the pump rpm and the front case fans rpm in all 3 of the above.

Looking at the board, fan headers are connected for CPU_FAN and PUMP_FAN and SYS_FAN_4.
Haven’t pulled apart the back yet to see if there’s a fan hub yet

  • Hi Luke,

I've been trying to find a way to contact you,

I ordered a PC on Friday but didn't realise it was Linux and want to change it to Windows 11, my order number is #TF4883884590,

I want to make sure this is sorted before it ships, thanks

  • Hi Luke @luketechfast

Will upgrade from A620 motherbaord to either AMD B650 [M-ATX] Motherboard ($79.00) or AMD B650 [M-ATX] Wi-Fi Motherboard ($89.00) come with 4 ram slots? Looking at the 4070 $1488 deal.

    Thanks
    Andy

    • Hey Andy both will likely be 2-slot boards

  • @luketechfast sorry for having to ask you this here but could you help check on my order TF4883344283? it seems to still be in order placed since last saturday and the email I had sent a while back hasn't been responded to yet, thanks

    • So is mine i ordered on the 15th of march. #TF4883278269

      Just assume theyre flatout buddy

      • oops when i said last saturday i meant the saturday before this being the 15th of march, i forgot this week already started lol. well anyway lets hope they atleast start getting ours shipped this week

        • Yours is in build now

      • Yours will be shortly.

        • @luketechfast My build will start shortly?

  • Any 7900 gre deals coming?

    • Nah a bit niche

  • What build times have people experienced? Seems to be closer to the 10 days for many orders?

    • I ordered the day before the long weekend started. With the 10 business day build time it will be the 15th April.
Hoping it arrives before 19th April still. (Worst timing with all these holidays)

      • I have a feeling they were closed a few extra days this week as well.

        • It will be interesting to see with all the deals they have had going. Keep us posted if it was day 10 or not when yours is shipped.

          • @i8aCurlyWurly: Looks like mine is going to go over the 10 day build time.

            • @LoftyAu: I’m on business day 10, but on bd7 (last thursday) they said it would go into build either bd8 or this week so not sure.

Also sent them another email yesterday following up but they haven’t replied yet so I assume they’re pretty busy with all the deals out.

Really hoping to hear from them asap with some good news because im looking forward to this PC!

              • @yiannis11: Yeah sounds like we are the same. Had hoped it would be closer to 5 but looks like it will be 10+. Regretting a bit ordering with them, should have just ordered local.

                • @LoftyAu: Mine shipped today being business day 9/10 (midday of 10)

                  • @yiannis11: Nothing on mine, so looks like it will go over.

                    • @LoftyAu: Mine has also been shipped now. I didn’t select any additional changes etc. maybe reach out to Luke through here and see if he can escalate or advise?

                      • @i8aCurlyWurly: Good news for you but yeah mine hasn't shipped yet, I ordered earlier in the week before the Easter long weekend. Very frustrating.

                        • @LoftyAu: Got in touch with techfast, my order was dispatched yesterday I just hadn't been sent a dispatch email with tracking. If stars align it will land here on Friday, to one very happy 12yo who has been waiting impatiently on school holidays for his birthday present (new gaming PC).

                          • @LoftyAu: Fingers crossed for that. Mine has been stuck in Aus Post Melbournes sorting centre since Wednesday morning. It still needs to get the Central QLD. Might get here by May haha

                            • @i8aCurlyWurly: Yeah mine was stuck in Melb as well, but got a ping today to say it was in BNE. So Monday I guess. After school holidays finished, but them's the breaks …

                              • @LoftyAu: Ended up collecting it Tues from Post Office, after delivery guy couldn't be bothered to open our front gate so just drove up and flagged it as "no access" and drove off. Bit of a challenge unpacking the expanded foam from inside the case (a good idea, but hard to get out). System runs fine, unfortunately have a few dead fans unfortunately so have flagged that with them.

  • Quick question: I've just received my order (a 4070), have removed all the internal packaging (and the protective plastic on both sides of the glass) and am ready to turn it on. Before I do so, there are a few unconnected cables inside the machine (presumably spares) and a few cables and plastic mounts that came on top in separate bags. Are these just the byproducts of the PC having been built, provided for my convenience if I want to customise it further, or are they important to the full functioning of the PC and haven't already been installed for one reason or another?

    • Just saw and replied to your DM, but if not in the PC they're just spares.

      • Thanks.

  • @luketechfast which x670 mobo do you use if I upgrade the 7800x3d & 7900xtx build? Cheers

  • We have been using Giga Gaming X AX and MSI Pro X670-P WiFi most regularly

  • @luketechfast what liquid cooler is generally being used ? is it worth upgrading from the 120mm to 240mm ?

    • 120s have been from Deepcool at the moment. A 240mm will keep the chips cooler but the Ryzens aren't particularly hot so a 120mm is adequate. 240 just superior.

    Hi guys,

I am trying to order the Ryzen 5 7500F RX 7800 XT: $1488 deal but I am not able to use the coupon code on your website. Can you please help me out

  • Is the deal on the 7800 XT build expired? I tried entering the discount code and nothing happened.

    • same question for me….

    • It was yep, I've re-enabled

  • Hi guys a quick question is there a option to pick up the PC. I am located in SA.

    • Yep, put the note Local Pickup in Order notes field at checkout and we'll let you know when it's ready. Shipping fee is still payable, but will be refunded at collection.

  • What is the standard cooler option, is it the TechFast Tower180 8-pipe 180W TDP air cooler or the 120mm liquid cooler ?

the TechFast Tower180 8-pipe 180W TDP air cooler doesn't appear as an option.

    • Nice pickup, Tower fell off. Replaced with the AG400 as standard.
