Cannot find ABN or address on company website. Is this a phoenix company?

  • Luke, any possibilities of something even smaller like https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/794662 coming up in the near future?

    • +2

We're looking at more flexible ITX case options, primarily in terms of size/shape and having the GPU connected directly to the MB. Not a quick process but it is underway.

      • Thank you sir, will wait :)

  • +1

@luketechfast any ITX deals with 4070 TS? :))

    • Not currently - as above need to source a case that fulfills all the above.

  • +1

How is the shipping. I am afraid the courier will soccer ball it down the driveway to me.

    • +1

Cant guarantee for you but we have had 2 PCs before from techfast and both arrived good and safe. Both still being used today 3 years+

  • I'm building my own ITX system, sorry for the necropost.
Would there be a bottleneck between 7800X3D and 4070/4070S?

    • the 7800X3D won't bottleneck any GPU that's currently on the market, and certainly not a middling Nvidia card.

      • Is it possible the other way around, gpu bottlenecking the 7800X3D?

        • +2

That's not how people think of bottlenecks, in most cases for gaming PCs. To take the bottleneck metaphor to its logical conclusion, the GPU is the bottle, and the CPU is the neck of the bottle.

If the 7800X3D (like the 13700K, 13900K, 14700K and 14900K on the Intel side) doesn't bottle neck even the most powerful GPU on the market at 4k resolution, you've effectively got something resembling a straight-edged vase (or a drinking glass).

  • +2

How on earth can they offer this specification for the price, let alone in an ITX form factor, fully assembled.

  • Why doesn’t the discount code work after you add extra options?

    • Never heard of this before, adding options doesn't have an impact on coupon codes

      • Seems like it glitched out. It’s working now.

  • To everyone nit picking on tiny details…

This is absolutely insane value. IDK how they can even offer this deal, fully assembled and shipped to your door while making a profit.

This is basically the price of a PS5 for a 4000 series NVIDIA card and a full pre-build around it as well. Insanity.

  • For the ITX H610I mobo, is there space for a wifi/bluetooth PCIe? Or usb is the only option ?

    Need Bluetooth for Xbox controller

    • No you would need to use a USB

      • Thanks mate.

      • Is that because of the space used by the gpu right @luketechfast? Because the mobo has a m2 wifi slot from the specs

        • So except ethernet, the only option for me is to use an usb adapter?

      • Hi Luke what about the "Reserved CNVI WIFI interface" specified on the motherboard description? Will a product like Intel 9462 or Intel 9560 compatible with this motherboard?

        https://www.amazon.com.au/Intel-9462NGW-Wireless-AC-SW10M732…

        https://www.amazon.com.au/Intel-Wireless-AC-9560-2230-Gigabi…

        • Have you found anything more about this?

          • @elcheapoinoz: Not really.. Don't wanna risk it without confirmation from Luke. So I bought a USB wifi dongle. But it didn't work great when I tested it on my laptop (30Mbps compared to 50Mbps with laptop inbuilt). I might just use USB tethering from mobile data when I really need great network speed/stability etc..

    Damn so tempting

With everything installed what case fans will fit and how about 3.5 inch hdds? Thanks

    • +1

I added a 2.5" SSD with the SATAIII cable provided not sure about the 3.5" though

  • +1

Just so everyone is aware, the case comes with a pcie 3 GPU riser cable so the 4060 (x8) will lose ~5 % FPS on some games.

Still an awesome deal though and you can probably upgrade the cable if you want to.

Motherboard settings need to be changed to limit it to pcie 3

    • And I guess you'd be very limited to upgrade the gpu in the future right? like upgrade to a 4070 super or 4070 ti

      • unlikely to fit a full size 4070 I think unless you change the case.

        • Yeah I think so, also probably you'd need to add fan cases for airflow

  • No case fans installed either

  • Does it has enought room for having a additional ssd and 3.5 inch Hard drive?

  • do i really have to buy windows 11? or is there a cheaper alternative to having it installed?

  • +3

Christ almighty, the scalpers are already up an atem: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1757843771363792/?…

  • +1

Hi @luketechfast . Is it possible to choose a different case? Thanks.

    • +1

      Nah, just what is offered

  • Wow great value for the around the price of a ps5

  • Just ordered one, first foray into PC gaming after being a lifetime console gamer! I've currently got a Xiaomi 34" curved 144hz monitor - is it a decent pairing for most single player games? (Mainly non FPS)

  • Will the thermals struggle with the lack of fans in the case?

    • i bought this case in the other deal, and it doesnt seem to run too hot. however, when you push the cpu/gpu, the head can linger int he case, so I bought two 120mm fans to act as exhaust fans for the top of the case. got some be Quiet fans.

      • Do they need to be slim fans to fit in this case?

  • Bought one, couldn't resist lol
    Thanks OP )

Any chance of the DDR5 one coming back in stock? or another similar deal in the near future

  • Purchased. Will review based on how quickly I receive this and in what condition.

    • Likewise! Purchased one as well.

Have you received any updates on your order?

      • not coathanger007, but I purchased the day the deal was posted and haven't received an update. Early days yet, however it was odd that the confirmation email had my billing address but no mention of my shipping address.

        • You can get your invoice on the website in your account details under the orders tab. It'll have both shipping and billing address.

          • @cmdbash: My invoice file is empty - unable to open with mac preview and just a solid block of grey when I open using Safari. Commenting in case others have the same issue, I've messaged Luke about it

            • @almotions: I was able to open my invoice fine. Did you try opening on chrome as well?

              • @mightymochi: Some problem with the issuing of the invoice, Luke from techfast sorted it out for me.

    • My order has just been shipped out - should arrive next week

  • What PSU is installed in this… is it safer to spend the $39 for the lower wattage Bronze supply?

  • Does the Leaper Edge ITX have space/support 3.5 drives? How many?

    • yes, 1 space at the top, if you don't need water cooler.

  • Seems SOLD OUT, sorry just saw this DEAL info, will there be a restock possible?

  • God damn it….you snooze you lose :(

Went to order for my daughter tonight and it goneski!!

  • Any chance of a restock?

    • Yes let’s hope for a restock!!

  • +1

Any had an update or delivery yet?

    • +1

Yup I placed an order 26/03/24 and received this morning (8/04/24). No issues with it so far :)

      • Will you get noticed before the order is being shipped? Like my order status now is still showing: order placed. And will you get a shipping number after it's shipped?

        • +1

Yeah, so I got an update when it was shipped from Techfast and also a tracking number from AusPost

          • @NeRd: Interesting I ordered in the first few hours of it being posted. 26/03/2024 but yet to hear anything. Good to know there will be a tracking number and some sort of confirmation that its shipped. Don't understand why they wouldn't communicate that at any point.

            • +1

@BabyJesusChrist: Just commenting to say I ordered on 27/03 and haven't heard anything or received any updates either. I know time frames are long but some kind of update would be nice at the very least…

  • Is build coming back in stock or are there going to be any more build like this at this price coming through soon?

  • Any idea of when you order two PCs at once would you expect them to turn up separately? I have had one turn up today, but nothing on the 2nd one at this point.

  • Reads like a ripping deal! Need something compact for 1080p gaming, assume this would've been perfect?
Looking forward to the next ITX build.

  • +1

How long does it take to receive the order? Haven't got any update since the order last week.

    • +1

      Same. Ordered on 26/03

      • +1

Same, emailed support a couple days ago and have yet to hear back.

        • Same and I ordered within first few hours. If they are building it first come first serve, there might still be around 100-150 orders not fulfilled (if most upvotes did buy the machine).

          • +2

@StephenCurry: Same boat for me, ordered within an hour and a half but yet to hear any update on my order. This is business day 11 since the order was placed (so outside the 5-10 business day dispatch time frame)

    • Boards are in, all in production now. Problem with having to get boards from overseas for these types of deals/prices. Won’t be long!

  • Any chance you guy are sitting on an upcoming amd 5 ITX build?

I have to make a decision basically this weekend (to get it delivered in time) if I want to buy from you guys or self build.

I love the 7800x3d & 7900 XT combo that you have available, but I need an ITX or really compact MATX build as I need to be able to take it carry on with me when I fly.

It's just your 7800x3d & 7900XT builds are nearly the same cost as buying the CPU & GPU standalone.

Any chance you sell parts on their own?

    • No chance of AM5 ITX sorry
      And only complete systems sorry

  • Hi Luke, will this deal come back in the future? Also will DDR5 available for this version?

  • My Core i5 12400F RTX 4060 ITX Gaming PC arrived today, I cannot get it to connect to any of my monitors. Is there something I’m missing that I need to do? I have tried 3 different monitors confirmed working. I have messaged the rep as well. Appreciate any help. Thank you!

    • Got your PM - please lodge a request via [email protected] and the team will help you out here.

    • i have same issue aswell. May you keep me updated!

  • Hi, Ive recently purchased this build. I received it in a timely manner however the monitor occasionally detects the pc. As of yet it won’t detect. Ive tried changing monitors cables. Using the motherboard output still no prevail. please advise thankyou
