  • Luke:

Would it be possible I ask for a DeepCool Ag400 Air Cooler ($49.00) as a cooling option for the Intel i5 12400F build posted here as opposed to the 120mm liquid cooling option as I do not like liquid coolers? I know you have these as an option for other builds and would be great if I could add this somehow when I order?

    • Just wanted to add, this only being shown through speccy. Does anyone know what would be the most reliable way to find this information?

      • The best tool for checking the GPU is an application called GPU Z found here - https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

It is free and trustworthy been using it for years

        • Thanks, it's showing as 8GB through GPU Z. Must just be something to do with speccy.

I know nothing about hardware and I've been too anxious to buy a new PC because the cost is so large and I don't want to get the wrong thing and regret it but my mum's PC just died and I want to get her a replacement for her birthday, and if it is good I might get one for myself too. I figure if we are both using the same hardware then I only have to learn how to fix one computer. My mum will be using things like photoshop and I will be playing somewhat recent games like Cyberpunk, would one of these PC's satisfy our needs? I'm curious to try gaming with remote desktop too if that matters.

    • +1

Both of the systems can play Cyberpunk fluently under 1080p thanks to the 4060 gpu.
For photoshop, you may need more than 16gb memory (and don't turn on multiple softwares at the same time). BTW the price is really good for such a system.

      • Thank you for answering my questions, it is much appreciated.

Ditto to arthur, games should be good but for PS may need a bit more memory. Usually worth checking the recommended specs for software like Photoshop and comparing.

Are you able to turn off all the RGB lighting in the bios or something?

    • +1

The case fans in the CX200 are hard-wired and cannot be turned off. There is a button on the NX200 that switches them on and off but not on the CX

  • Any chance of pairing a R5 5600 and a PCIe 4 compatible MB in the R5 5600 options, you have the processor upgrade, but no MB options and chasing PCIe 4

    • We can offer B550 in small quantities but not in bulk, best done post purchase by emailing [email protected]

  • Hi everyone, I am a complete beginner to PC gaming and I would like to get some advice from you all.
because of the uni course I am doing, I dont have a lot of time for playing games, but i can sneak it in whenever I can, but because of this i likely wont be playing a lot of AAA games with long playtimes as i really dont have the time to finish them. I am mainly planning on playing more indie games, FPS like fortnite or VAL and maybe GTA 6 when it comes.

Would a build like this be enough to last me for the next 5 years, or till like end of 2028? I do have a higher budget but i would like to spend as little as possible and i am currently looking at Intel Core i5-12400F | RTX 4060 PC. I do want to upgrade the PSU and cooler in it, as I have heard that is better for PC health so would someone be able to confirm if that is true? Also would it be possible to upgrade the motherboard in this build? and would anyone say its neccesary? Thanks!

  • Like i am looking for a motherboard which has wifi support capabilities and if not that then a greater RAM limit per RAM port

    • Like i am looking for a motherboard which has an extra PCIe spot for a network card, and DDR5 support(this is more important for me), and DDR5 RAM if possible. I just realised the RAM is good enough with this motherboard my bad

  • Hi Luke, why is this deal $50 more expensive than the last intel 4060 deal?

  • @luketechfast Order made on the 18th of Apr. Till date, order has not been shipped. No update unless I send emails chasing up.

What are the chances of cancelling the order and you guys refund my money?

    • If we're well over our estimate we would generally just accept a cancellation request, as you would expect as we haven't hit what we're advertising. Happy to follow it up if I can have a reference to look it up?

      • After a post here, today my order got shipped. What a surprise.

Here's to hoping there isn't any issue with the pc when it arrives.

  • @luketechfast How long will the i5-12400f computer deal be up for?

    • +1

Not sure, no real expiry in mind at this point

  • anyone else having issues with installing windows 11 on the i5-12400F? giving me the driver not found during the set up

  • Hi @luketechfast, for the 12400f 4060 package, does it have more than one nvme ssd slots? If not, what other options are there to increase storage space at a later date?
