    Bad deal

      Link better?

        Research more!

    1) Doesn't list exact part manufacturer you are getting for cooler/RAM/GPU variant and SSD
    2) Upgrade paths for components are super expensive
    3) Bottom of the barrel parts, you should not be getting 16gig of ram in a device that costs over 2K.
    4) Op uses comparisons with PC Part Picker but doesn't even list an apple to apples comparison of what they are comparing against because they say (brand model may vary)
    5) History of slow delivery times of 1-2 months despite keep listing 10-15 day times. Just a tip, don't spam if you cannot fulfill your current orders?

  • Downgrade -> ATL -> profit

      Read this before vote down

regardless its still arguable if either are solid ground for neg. soz, i'll take the downvotes and read the rules next time

        • -4
          • Agree about your comment, just not the same with the down vote. I get that you can BYO with the deals you mentioned but only the GPU is applicable, the CPU is expired and sold from Aliexpress store which isn't the same as CPU sold in Aus stores. I get your logic "wait for this regular deal to drop again", but downvote means you need to have an alternative that is cheaper at the same time.
          • I feel mostly the same as you are about Techfast, the only thing they're good at is pricing (and not always lol), their delivery time and customer supports aren't that great either. However as said, their PC deals are usually the cheapest and I think they're the earliest budget pre-built PC store on Oz with hundreds of deals, so I can understand why plenty people vote for them. Personally I prefer Nebula/GalaPower more than TF with the same configuration and not much of a price difference, but too poor to buy any pre-built PC now lol.

Bro thought he'd cook with this one

RTX 4060 (Palit in use, primarily StormX)

I normally think your posts are decent deals, but omitting the 8gb from the GPU is kinda dirty

    • +2

Compared to the model with more ram, which doesn’t exist? Wtf are you even on about.

      • +1

Not all Ozbargain users are tech savvy enough to know this

It's like saying "micro SD card" and not specifying capacity

  • +5

i feel like the (brand/model may vary) shouldn't be allowed on posts, the other thing that frustrates me is the photo being an upgraded pc and not the "deal" pc shown - this isn't just about this post but all posts over the last 3 months ive known about OZB. this post the photo seems very similar to what you'd get but still annoying trying to study a photo and work out whats what

    • +2

Yep it doesn't fly with anything else and should be stopped. I will keep repeating myself like a broken reckon but at least the other pre-built gaming PC companies that spam OzB list the exact parts you are getting. I don't care if their excuse is "whatever we have on hand" this is not Gumtree where anything goes. Saying '1TB Gen 4 NVME SSD (HP & BiWin generally in use, brand/model may vary)' can mean anything going by the wording. It could be some no name garbage from Temu or a HP like they claim.

I have more trust in a cheap no name N150 PC from Aliexpress over anything Techfast does.

  • Ordered 2 on the 31st May. Still hasn’t progressed in the website.

  • How long is this sale on for? Will it still be active in two weeks? 🥲
