The next AliExpress sale is kicking off on the 14th from 5pm AEST and here's a set of coupons to go alongside it. This is a sale on "selected products only" and not a sitewide sale, so expect the usual exceptions, like no Big Save limited products and purchase of mobile phones. Fingers crossed we still score some Ryzen CPU deals that people always ask me about.

Sale landing page expected to go live from the 12th after 5pm - will update.

The minimum spend excludes GST and shipping. Each coupon is 1 per account and don't stack with the new user account "Welcome Offer".

How to get the AU$ price in the title with PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

Yes, hopefully another Xiaoxin Pro sale!

  • @clear out here doing the best work!’

But yikes, I have soo much still from last months deals, I might have to skip this one….

Lets see if @marshmall0w2 7800x3D hits $300. either USD or AUD for that matter, we'll find out.

    • US$308 at Comet Crash Global Store

      • @Clear code doesn't work: This coupon code is for single use only
        or
This coupon code can't be used in combination with other discounts

  • I ended up using another code from the last post. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/913565

    so thanks. 🙏

  • @Briefcase Mong, 7700 under $200 would be a deal of the year.

  • any possibility of an influencer code for $2 off $19usd?

  • The previous sale, whatever it was called (winter something?) was quite good. Allot of items I was watching were 30% off before coupons.. I bought a bunch of bundle buys to try things out.

Is next sale meant to be roughly the same, as in, it’s this just cyclic, or are sone better than others?
I’d like to buy more “junk” but its jacked up at the moment.

  • hopefully i can use this for the gmktec n100 mini pc

  • hopefully some reolinks

  • Picked up the wtr pro for 375ish.. thanks op

    • Got a link? Wanting to do the same!

      • +1

it's the same link as previous deal

Mine just arrived today. Very nice.

        • What did you get?

I got the n150 version, noting quick sync requirements and it should be good enough for nas duties

          • @Wally Simmonds: yep N150 version.

Migrating my backup unraid server from a full size ATX case. Massive difference in size

            • @impoze: Yeah I’m backing up my unraid server with this. Bit over the primaries bulkiness

              • @Wally Simmonds: I'd love to downsize my main server to something like a Jonsbo N4 but the case costs just as much as a whole N150 unit

                • @impoze: I’ve done a lot of research over th e past few days and while I’ve got quite a lot of spare gear I could repurpose into a n4 or n5 the compromise would be noise and they’re still more sizeable than this little unit.

Will be interesting to see how this and the wtr max etc go against a speccd out diy unit

                • @impoze: Ive just gone down this exact route myself :) Here's my recent build for my main homelab - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16574098/redir.

I purchased one of the wtr pro n150's to be a backup server for my main custom homelab. Though i had to cancel my previous order as the seller hadnt posted or wouldnt give me any update after 13 days of waiting =(

I reordered under a different account hoping seller will ship this time (fingers crossed)

regarding the custom build vs one of these boxes. After building i did think to myself, i maybe i should have just brought the Ryzen wtr max.. The biggest pro for me of the custom build was ECC ram and the graphics on the chip, bar those i would have gone with the Ryzen wtr max

It has to be said though, the Jonsbo N4 is pretty sexy albiet a bit loud with the fan that comes with it. Its always on max so will likely replace that

                  • @sund00bie: Mines just shipped.
Be interested to see how you go with the n4, I’m considering moving my main lab over to one of those cases as they’ll fit in a rack better

                    I’ve got too many towers

                    • @Wally Simmonds: In hope it gets shipped this time. I'm in a regional area so expect the cost of posting would be higher for me thus seller refusing to send

Are you in a capital city?

Re: Jonsbo N4. Compared to my old Hp ml10v2 it's great :) Sure it cost a lot more than one of those pre-builts but even though time poor, I still enjoyed putting it together

                      • @sund00bie: Yes I’m in Melbourne, though 75km out.

The N4 does look nice and I think I’m okay with the compromises if I can keep it quiet.

                      • @sund00bie: Mine turns up today!

Installed truenas and a few 18tb drives. Works great.

        • Ordered on that deal day and mines still not even shipped :(

        • Cheers just ordered!

  • Garmin 8 or Ganmir 8?

  • For anyone wondering about shipping, I just had 8/10 orders delivered by Auspost. The other two being imile…so it does look like Ali are back to using Auspost more. I stopped buying from the site last Oct, because they were solely using imile and it was a nightmare. (Both imile ones showed this time, but it's so much easier when it's Auspost/UCL because I can redirect to a parcel locker.)

They received so many complaints about Fast Horse Express there was an entire team dedicated to it. For me it's predominantly Auspost with a bit of Aramex mixed in depending on the address.

    • Still iMile for me in Brisbane. No problem, just slower.

  • Anybody got any good suggestions for car head units on AliExpress? Things to avoid? Recommended sellers? Looking at some specific ones for my car just not sure which units are worth it and those to avoid.

    • +1

I heard good things about the Dudu 7.

      • Thanks mate I'll check it out

  • worked!!
