Awaiting fulfillment is like being in the middle of the Atlantic, in a row boat.
Pending, is the same situation except theres no oars, a Force 8 storm is coming your way, but the upside is the boat has a leak.
Honestly, no idea which is worse, but at a guess pending is the 1st step to being cancelled. What time did you place your order? I base my assumption on everyone else whose orders are so close in time to those who have orders saying they have been sent out already, are still showing awaiting fulfillment.

im a bit confused, there is no link to that product like there used to be, and your link is just to the dick smith eneloop products at their usual prices
there is 2 links, im not sure if you've just overviewed it. but there ones with the standard
other one as 16x aa bonus batteries with the standard.
I'll rephrase in summary.
do a walk in to your store to see if you get lucky or not.
search up the product code for visual proof, as its still listed there and buy it with the price listed as 29.98 online.

I called DSE, i have been offered $40 gift cards to buy the batteries from store or return the charger for refund. Because i had bad experience with DSE in refunds, went with the gift card.
They said wherhose only posted chargers without batteries.

I then looked closer to find that on the "invoice" they sent me, it only contained the charger with 4 batteries which I received on the 10th of March.

I've sent 2 emails to DSE and am waiting for their reply. might need to ring them up…
I guess if they offer $40 gift cards that's not too bad. However, if the gift cards can only be used in store, you can't really use it for the 8 pack rouge batteries as they're only available online.

If they are usable online, it might turn out even better than the original deal, as right now 20 bucks will get you 8pk rouge + bonus pack 8pk uomo = 16 pack of eneloops. Multiply that x2 because its 40bucks gift card, and you get 32x eneloops + add on cost of delivery
Big gamble considering the incoming screw up of this bargain….

I would definitely take the gamble, whats the worst that could happen? 19.98 for an 8 pack was considered a good Ozbargain price up till these ridiculous offers from DSE started popping up a few days ago :)
Even if they don't end up giving you the bonus 8pks of uomo, will end up getting 16x rouge eneloops for the 40 buck gift voucher anyway, which was what the original deal offered. Nothing lost there, except for maybe extra delivery cost.
Sorry for confusing. Its normal gift card but because she thinks they are out of stock online. She recommended to buy it from store and they will do it the same price

I only recieved the charger also. I submitted an online enquiry via the form asking where the 16 batteries are. I ordered two sets of this too, I hope I dont just end up with 2 chargers!
Surely those getting their orders filled later this week will receive the 16 batteries, after the warehouse being notified by this horrendous error and all the enquiries from customers.
The $40 gift card doesn't sound too bad either.
They chose to honour it. They didnt refund everyone and call it a pricing error which they could have done.
Looks like they didn't honour what they were advertising, and sent a charger and four batteries at the correct price instead. I am not understanding the rage of some people. Most people were not expecting it to be honoured anyway and hoping for a gift card.
Ordered on friday and received only the charger as well. Spoke to lady and she told me send screen shot of the deal.

They seem to be the current model, newer should be better lol.
Tropical is the latest limited edition, Rouge/Uomo were the previous limited edition, whites (3rd gen) are the standard release. All are 3rd Gen and have the same specs (capacity: 2000mAh with 1900mAh minimum, 1.2V, 1800 cycles).
