Hi ozbargainers,

As a long user of the site I have scored some great bargains which had saved me a lot of money over the years.

So I'm curious what's the best bargain bargain(s) you have got?

My List: (WIP)

$2 Nokia 1616 @ Officeworks (well before I was an ozbargainer. Was a clearance item)

$1 Powerboards @ Dicksmith. Wish I bought more as I still use them today and after a couple of years they are still going strong

      Flashed mine to Tomato Firmware last weekend..
      Loses the guest mode WiFi feature, but adds in a bunch of more useful features, especially if you use a DNS unblocker.
      When I picked mine up, the DSE guy said "these have been quite popular today" I didn't have the heart to tell him why.

    xbox 360 4gb for $20!
    didn't want the the game so sold it in gumtree for $60

    2x chromecast for price of 1 (DSE send me two and only paid for one and they told me to keep them both)

    eneloop batteries and a charger they paid me to have them! (DSE posted the charger without the batteries called them about that they gave me $40 gift cards (more what I paid), week later the batteries showed up!

    Used Nexus 7 off ebay for $70, this was maybe a year after the 2012 version launched.

      Nice i got a similar bargain but it was a used Nexus 7 2013 last year on ebay for $60 delivered.
      I sold it for $180

    iPhone 5S for $120 2 weeks after it came out - had a cracked screen, repaired for $160 (Apple Store) so under $300 for an iPhone 5S a week after it came out..

    Recently bought a multifunction laser printer on clearance for $59. Saw later that they advertised it for $5 less on their website. Complained and received $5 refund in mail along with a new original high yield toner ($90) for free. :-) Pays to be a complaining skin flint sometimes..
    Oh, and the same week I sold the dell $9 printer (deal) for $30…

    As above, so what would you say has been the best bargain to appear on OzBargain which you have been able to get before it expired or was sold out?

    For me it was the GoPro Hero 4 Silver which appeared as a group buy a few weeks back minus 20% off from Ebay + $50 voucher from ebay. Which brought an item from being over $500 to just under $300.

    I'm not saying best to appear, but the best you have been able to get a hold of?

    There are many bargains that never surface on Ozbargain's level - since they don't fit the posting criteria and the like. I'm talking about ones like garage sales, one-off discounts and second-hand dealings. So, I'd like to know - what was the best purchase you have ever made?

      Well, I'll start off.

      Just last week, I bought two Guitar Hero guitars for $10 from Gumtree. Both in good working order and no need to succumb to ebay's high offerings for 8 year-old controllers!

      In terms of trading - I used to trade skate boards. Picked up an extremely rare Bam Magera deck for $50 and sold it 3 hours later for $500.

      I went to pick up an already extremely cheap HP stream 11 for $100 they where/are $300 brand new.

      i knock on the door and the guy answers and while im making sure it works all fine he ask's if i wanted the two boxes for free full with an entire PC screen telstra -T-Box had all cables and everything

      i sold the screen for $100 that day
      the desktop tower for $250 the next day
      the Telstra t-box a week later on ebay for $90
      and few months later the laptop for $180

      Paid $100 sold everything for $620

      there was also some ok PC speakers that i still have as spares incase my logitechs stop working.

      that is my best bargain my second best was an nexus 7 2013 last year for $60 delivered i sold that a week after i received it for $180 on gumtree.

      Bought an LJ Torana Gtr for $6k found out it was an original numbers matching car and got paperwork from holden to authenticate sold the car 6 weeks later for $60k

    Would have to be the cheap boxes of baby wipes from Woolworths which got Ozbargained a couple of years ago. I cant remember how cheap each box was but I think I got 10 boxes for an insane price.
